At the recent Rick Rule Precious Metals Symposium, experts Matthew Piepenburg, Rick Rule, and Jim Rickards<\/strong> sat down to discuss the future of the USD, the rising BRICS tide, and the Realpolitik of any realistic (i.e., immediate) gold-backed BRICS trade currency.<\/p>\n

The conversation revolved around the idea that the dollar has not only been debased but also weaponized, which has led to decreasing trust in the currency as a global reserve.<\/p>\n

Rickards noted,\u00a0“It’s the weaponization of the dollar… you’re not just stealing our money with inflation, you’re actually telling us we can’t get it back,” <\/strong><\/em>emphasizing that while the BRICS countries might not fully trust each other, they are more likely to trust a “common trading currency backed by gold.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rule described the U.S. dollar’s previous “exorbitant privilege” advantage is coming to an end<\/strong>, thereby making things more expensive for Americans.<\/p>\n

“The enemy of the U.S. dollar isn’t in Beijing or Moscow or Riyadh, it’s in Washington.”<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yes, major steps are being taken to push aside the dominance of the USA dollar.<\/p>\n

Yes, gold looks to be involved. USA sanctions policies and debt (which Joe Biden and others continue to increase\u2013watch also our latest uploaded video: And the Debt Goes On \u2026<\/a>) will have costs greater than those that most pundits understand (cf. Habakkuk 2:6-8).<\/p>\n

James Rickards did not discuss the role of Europe to bypass the USA dollar \u2013but that was part of why the euro was developed in the first place. And Europe will help topple the dollar\u2013it will not just be the alliance of the BRICS nations.<\/p>\n

Gold Backed Currency to Replace the US Dollar?<\/a><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

China introduced something that was called the gold-petro-yuan back in 2018. Since then, the global share of US-dollar-dominated exchange reserves have dropped to 59.0%. In April 2021, China became the first major economy to unleash a Central Bank Digital Currency. China also has given its banks permission to import large amounts of gold. Is China preparing for a gold-backed yuan to push aside the US dollar or to help it survive a US dollar cataclysm? Are other nations preparing to push the US dollar aside? Do Europeans seem to have the most gold? Are Europeans prophesied to gain more gold? Is the US debt trajectory sustainable per Fed Chairman Jerome Powell? Does the Bible warn of the end coming to the highly indebted in Habakkuk 2:6-8? Why does it looked like a gold-backed currency will replace the US dollar? Will the US dollar, ultimately, become essentially worthless? Dr Thiel addresses these issues and more.<\/span><\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And, let me add that the BRICS nations have long wanted to topple the dominance of the US dollar.<\/p>\n

Those in Iran and some of the Arab lands, along with nations such as Brazil, China, and India have discussed plans for the removal of the dominance of the U.S.A. in global trade as well. The former (again current) President of Brazil, Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva, even claimed that eliminating the U.S. dollar\u2019s reserve currency status was one of the reasons that the BRICS alliance (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) was formed in the first place. [i]<\/a> Others have\u00a0 noted that bypassing the USA dollar is still an object of BRICS\u2014and officially BRICS nations \u201care currently working on setting up a new global reserve currency,\u201d[ii]<\/a> which may have gold-backing.[iii]<\/a> The expansion of BRICS (which is in progress) may ultimately even hurt Australian trade as well as \u201cseverely weaken primacy of the US Dollar as an international currency.\u201d[iv]<\/a><\/p>\n

The Bible clearly warns against cheapening the money supply and encourages having money hold its value (Proverbs 25:4 Isaiah 1:25, Ezekiel 22:18-22). Debt is also warned against (Habakkuk 2:6-8). Yet policies enacted under the Obama, Trump, and Biden Administrations, following certain other administrations, have ignored these warnings.<\/p>\n

14. Gold<\/h2>\n

While some economists have called gold a \u2018relic,\u2019 it still has value internationally.<\/p>\n

Alex Stanczyk observed:<\/p>\n

Crypto has made its own place in the world by making an amazing leap forward as a medium of exchange, with thus far unrivaled capabilities. But crypto is not gold, and can never be gold. I suggest that BTC and Crypto are better as a medium of exchange, while gold is a better medium for storing value.<\/p>\n

This is not because of some dogma I have for the metal. Some will trot out \u201cyou are just talking your book\u201d when I mention this.<\/p>\n

The simple fact is, out of the near 185,000 tons of estimated above ground gold, someone owns, all of it<\/strong>. Every fine gram of gold above ground belongs to someone already, whether that be in the form of bars, coins, jewelry, the thin layer on astronauts helmets that protect them from solar radiation, or the gold plated contacts in the mining rigs used to mine crypto. New gold mined from the ground is usually spoken for before it ever hits a refinery. My job as a physical gold fund manager is not to convince people to buy gold, that job has already been done.<\/p>\n

The reason crypto can never replace gold lies in physics: Gold cannot be destroyed<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Everything else can. Computers. Exchanges. Mining Pools. Wallets. Powergrids. Internets. Nations. You name it. If you blew up the planet earth, the gold atoms would still be there.<\/p>\n

Unlike anything else you can invest or store money in, gold doesn\u2019t rely on any external force for this to continue to be true over time. It is sort of like a battery with no expiration date.<\/p>\n

Gold exists as atomic number 79 on the periodic table. It is chemically inert and does not interact with oxygen. It is the only element with properties that make it completely immune to the forces of entropy. The only way to destroy it would be to fire it into the sun, or somehow put it in the middle of an equivalent fusion reaction that took the atoms apart at a subatomic level. <\/strong>(Stanczyk A. The Bible prophesies King of the North<\/a> will get gold which end time Babylon will trade with:<\/p>\n

While the Bible is clear that gold will, for a time, not be wanted but tossed (Ezekiel 7:19), it is obvious that into the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:21-22), which starts in verse 39 of Daniel 11, gold will have value (see also The Plain Truth About Gold in Prophecy. How Should a Christian View Gold?<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The old Worldwide Church of God published the following:<\/p>\n

Of course, since gold is regarded as a disaster hedge by many investors, prudence might dictate that perhaps a small fraction of your liquid assets be in gold: (Caulkins J. WHEN MONEY FAILS. Good News, October-November 1979) In Revelation 18, we are given a graphic description of Europe at its future economic peak. Remember this prophecy occurs after the United States, Canada and other Israelitish nations have been conquered and brought into subservience. \u2026 In verse 11, Europe\u2019s coming economic wealth and scope is described as John sees it, shortly before the final crisis (to occur at Christ\u2019s coming) takes place. \u201cAnd the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her, for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: The merchandise of gold and silver \u2026 (Catherwood CA. Yes, gold will outlast the US dollar and the European Beast power will have it.<\/p>\n

In terms of world events, understand that Germany has been repatriating gold\u2013and even did so ahead of schedule (watch Germany, Gold, and the US Dollar<\/a>). Europeans have a lot of gold (see The Plain Truth about European Gold<\/a>) and want more. The continental European gold reserves listed amount to about 11,353.4 tons of gold\u2013that is almost as much as the USA and China combined.<\/p>\n

Gold will set records in US dollar terms.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It did on August 6, 2020:<\/p>\n

Gold will be an item or value in 2023 and at least a few years beyond.<\/p>\n

Nations in Asia, Europe, and even Africa will look to increase gold reserves.<\/p>\n

Gold will break records in US dollar terms.<\/p>\n

But there may be ups and downs before it does again.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The coming Babylonians European Beast power will trade with nations like China who will also end up with gold (cf. Revelation 18).<\/p>\n

One day the US dollar will be toppled. But let me add that the Bible teaches that a coming European power will accumulate gold too (cf. Daniel 11:38,43; see also The Plain Truth About Gold in Prophecy. How Should a Christian View Gold?<\/a><\/span>).<\/p>\n

Are you paying attention to what is going on in the world?<\/p>\n

This will not end well for the USA nor its British-descended allies.<\/p>\n

Probably within the next decade.<\/p>\n
