As they left the stage at Madison Square Garden, the band were replaced by flying avatars who launched into the hit song God Gave Rock ‘n’ Roll to You.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

The technology, originally developed for the Abba Voyage show, will allow them to stay on the road in retirement.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

Gene Simmons said the band could now be “forever young and forever iconic”.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

Singer Paul Stanley added: “What we’ve accomplished has been amazing, but it’s not enough. The band deserves to live on because the band is bigger than we are.<\/p>\n

“It’s exciting for us to go the next step and see Kiss immortalised.” …<\/p>\n

No, collecting video and using a computer to help make something up is NOT immortality.<\/p>\n

It is just a fake.<\/p>\n

But it is an accurate enough fake that many will be happy with it.<\/p>\n

The use of Artificial Intelligence programs by the masses is increasing.<\/p>\n

While what is happening with KISS has the band’s approval, that is not the only thing that has been happening with deepfakes.<\/p>\n

Deepfake nude images of teen girls prompt action from parents, lawmakers: “AI pandemic”<\/h2>\n

A mother and her 14-year-old daughter are advocating for better protections for victims after AI-generated<\/a> nude images of the teen and other female classmates were circulated at a high school in New Jersey.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, on the other side of the country, officials are investigating an incident involving a teenage boy who allegedly used artificial intelligence to create and distribute similar images of other students \u2013 also teen girls – that attend a high school in suburban Seattle, Washington.<\/p>\n

The disturbing cases have put a spotlight yet again on explicit AI-generated material that overwhelmingly harms women and children and is booming online at an unprecedented rate. According to an analysis by independent researcher Genevieve Oh that was shared with The Associated Press, more than 143,000 new deepfake videos<\/a> were posted online this year, which surpasses every other year combined. …<\/p>\n

“AI pandemic”<\/h3>\n

The problem with deepfakes isn’t new, but experts say it’s getting worse as the technology to produce it becomes more available and easier to use. Researchers have been sounding the alarm this year on the explosion of AI-generated child sexual abuse material using depictions of real victims or virtual characters. https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/deepfake-nude-images-teen-girls-action-parents-lawmakers-ai-pandemic\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This is terrible and should not happen. It is to be denounced:<\/p>\n

\nAnd the house of Jacob their sins.\u00a0 (Isaiah 58:1)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As Western culture has becoming more accepting of the promotion of pornography, this development is not a surprise.<\/p>\n

The Apostle Paul warned:<\/p>\n

1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, .. 13 … evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. (2 Timothy 3:1-4,13)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Having nude deepfakes and\/or videos of sexual acts with them is more than just embarrassing to the teenage girl victims, it is traumatizing and can result in them being sexually harassed and bullied–as well as likely increasing the chance they may be sexually assaulted.<\/p>\n

We have warned about the emergence of deepfakes for some time now. Back in 2021, the Continuing<\/em> Church of God<\/a> (CCOG) put out the following video on our Bible News Prophecy<\/a> YouTube channel:<\/p>\n

Lies and Deepfakes<\/a><\/h3>\n

Jesus taught that God\u2019s prophets would be reviled and spoken evil of. He also warned that the devil was a liar that worked to take the word of God away from those who heard it. The Apostle Paul warned that \u201cevil men and seducers would wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived\u201d (2 Timothy <\/span>3:13, KJV). He also warned that letters purported from him with false messages were an issue. COG leader Serapion of Antioch denounced a gospel falsely attributed to the Apostle Peter as pseudepigrapha. With the internet, lies can spread faster than before. With technology, like artificial intelligence, can we expect to see deepfakes that will make it look like Christian leaders say or do things that they did not? Do you, \u201cprove all things\u201d so you will not fall from the coming increased deceit? Will YOU hold fast to that which is good or be one who \u201cloves and practices a lie\u2019? Dr. Thiel refers to aspects of modern technology and various scriptures to warn Christians to not be misled by what is coming.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Earlier this year, I was presented with what I considered to be a “deepfake” computer-conversation that I was able to determine could not have happened as it was presented to myself and others. Sadly, however, some preferred to believe the lie.<\/p>\n

The Bible warns against:<\/p>\n

15 \u2026 idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. (Revelation 22:15)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As far as lying idolatry is concerned, there already is an “AI Jesus” which claims to be the true Jesus–that is blasphemous. The AI is also biased and allows its Jesus to depart from biblical teachings. Here is a video related to that:<\/p>\n

AI Jesus? Artificial Intelligence God?<\/a><\/h3>\n

We are seeing more and more steps to incorporate Artificial Intelligence (AI) in with matters of religion. From a Protestant sermon via AI, to PETA blaspheming God by re-writing a false account of the Book of Genesis, to Yuval Noah Harari of the World Economic Form (WEF) calling for a new globalist religion and Bible to be produced by AI, things like ChatGPT are being used. There is also an AI thing called \u201cask Jesus\u201d which has a false Messiah who does not always provide biblically-accurate statements. Many humans want to worship \u201cthe work of their hands.\u201d Is that warned against in scripture? Where is this leading? Might the \u201cimage of the beast\u201d be demonic and\/or involve AI and the Antichrist? Do humans know the way that is right that does not lead to death? Dr. Thiel and Steve Dupuie address these matters.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

That said, while KISS fans may like computer-generated avatars, there is a difference between that and those who use deepfakes to deceive and try to humiliate others.<\/p>\n

The Apostle Paul warned about those who were “slanderers” in the last days, and that certainly would include those who produce deepfakes of teenage and other women.<\/p>\n

Those type of deepfakes are horrible.<\/p>\n

Pray, as Jesus said, for God’s Kingdom to come (Matthew 6:10).<\/p>\n
