This is at least the perception cultivated by Japan and some of its allies, but is it still valid? …<\/p>\n It seems more accurate to portray Japan now as a nation which has been shaken to its core by internecine political warfare<\/span><\/a> and which will require fundamental reforms if the image of stability is to be preserved or regained. …<\/p>\n Japan\u2019s Western allies as well as those in Asia … view Japan as a bulwark<\/span><\/a> against what they see as an increasingly assertive China … https:\/\/www.scmp.com\/comment\/opinion\/article\/3245892\/japan-island-stability-asia-pacific-think-again<\/a><\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n Japan wants to act like a superpower and to be more aggressive militarily.\u00a0 The USA originally had the Japanese Constitution written to prevent its military rise, and later encouraged Japan to change its to allow it to be more militaristic, which it did back in 2014 (see Japan changes to allow it to increase, as well as be more open, about its military developments<\/a>).<\/p>\n With a more militaristic Japan in mind, notice the following:<\/p>\n December 23, 2023<\/p>\n The Cabinet of Japan made the decision Friday to increase defense spending by 16% and overturn the export ban which has been in place since World War II.<\/a><\/p>\n “In taking the action, we hope to contribute to defend a free and open international order based on the rule of law and to achieve the peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region,” Prime Minister Fumio Kishida told the press following the announcement.\u00a0 …<\/p>\n Japan’s first export of lethal weapons was made immediately following the change, sending Patriot-guided missiles to the United States.<\/a><\/p>\n The missiles were previously manufactured in Japan under a US license.<\/p>\n The approval marks yet another step towards the full remilitarization of Japan, which was provided with a constitution renouncing its right to wage war by US occupying administrators following WWII. …<\/p>\n Territorial disputes with the People’s Republic of China<\/a> and demonstrations of aggression from neighboring North Korea have pushed Japan towards securing more formidable military capabilities. https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/world\/japan-approves-massive-military-spending-growth-lifts-ban-lethal-weapons-exports<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Japan will produce more of its weapons. It is interesting that US Patriot missiles are made in Japan. The USA is more and more relying on other nations, including ones that were once hostile to it, to manufacture some components of its military weapons and systems.<\/p>\n That said, Japan has less trust in the USA than it once had and now is going to more openly arm itself. North Korea and China do not like that. Japan took over Korea, much of China, and many of the islands in that part of the Pacific during WWII. There was a reason that the USA had earlier forced that Constitutional restriction upon Japan.<\/p>\n The USA is concerned about China and North Korea. And while it may hold back for a time because of North Korea, it is likely that the Biden Administration will conclude that Asia needs more military focus.<\/p>\n This is part of why the USA will not see what is prophetically happening in Europe\u2013it will be focused on other than the main power that will defeat it. The current world order dominated by the USA, and formerly by the UK is being changed.<\/p>\n The Bible shows that the time of Jacob\u2019s trouble (Jeremiah 30:7) is getting nearer\u2013and that will greatly affect the USA, the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand which have descendants from Jacob also known as Israel. They WILL be defeated by a European power per Daniel 8:24-25 and 11:39 (see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses<\/a>).<\/p>\n The Bible also tells of the final time of the Gentiles. (Luke 21:23-24; Revelation 11:2), which means the time when the descendants of Israel will no longer dominate the world scene. We are getting closer to that time (see also When Will the Great Tribulation Begin?<\/a>).<\/p>\n The Bible tells of a time when there will be a confederation of the \u2018kings of the east\u2019 that will get together:<\/p>\n 12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.<\/p>\n 15 \u201cBehold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.\u201d<\/p>\n 16 And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon. (Revelation 16:12-16)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n This will include Russia, China, Korea, AND Japan, and possibly even the Philippines. Things will one day dramatically change, militarily, in Asia, in terms of cooperation.<\/p>\n Notice also the following:<\/p>\n 50:41 \u201cBehold, a people shall come from the north<\/strong>, 43 \u201cThe king of Babylon has heard the report about them, Russia is in the north. A confederation led by Russia and a great nation (seemingly China as it is the greatest nation in terms of population), and various others \u201cfrom the ends of the earth\u201d will get together. From the vantage point of the Middle East, Russia, China, and Japan are \u201cfrom the ends of the earth,\u201d as are many of the other nations in Asia.<\/p>\n Notice that one day, this will concern the \u201cdaughter of Babylon.\u201d The end time Babylonian power, will be European (watch also Can You Prove that the Beast to Come is European?<\/a> and Mystery Babylon USA, Mecca, or Rome?<\/a>). It will one day be very concerned about what this force will do. This is also shown in other scriptures (cf.
