MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Some 30 countries want to partner up with the BRICS club of five emerging economies, in addition to those invited to join at the summit in Johannesburg in summer, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Tuesday.<\/p>\n

“It is logical that, since BRICS operates on the principles of a genuine democracy and mutual respect, many countries are eager to get closer to BRICS<\/a>. In addition to the countries that have already joined our ranks, about three dozen countries now want to become BRICS’ partners<\/a>,’ he said at a foreign affairs committee meeting of the United Russia party.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Lavrov said that Russia would continue strengthening BRICS\u2019 position as a pillar of a fledgling multipolar world. Amid the greater de-dollarization plan for the BRICS bloc, and overall digitization of finance, 130 nations<\/a> are all moving toward a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) which could leave the US dollar at risk. Subseuqnlety, the BRICS currency, which is likely to be announced in the coming year, could only add to the international pressure facing the greenback.<\/p>\n

Reports from the summer confirmed the plethora of nations that are in \u201cadvanced phases\u201d of CBDC development. … So, what does that mean for the United States dollar? …<\/p>\n

Specifically, research shows that amid BRICS action, 130 nations are moving toward a CBDC, putting the US dollar at risk. …<\/p>\n

Additionally, a recent OMFIF survey shows that 41% of Central Banks are expecting a fully operation CBDC in four years. That could fast-track the overall prevalence of these digital currencies on a global scale. Germany has embarked on a bold initiative aimed at challenging the established dominance of BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) currency in the global economic landscape. The focal point of this audacious move is the introduction of the Digital Euro, a groundbreaking digital currency set to revolutionize the financial sector.\u00a0 \u2026<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The BRICS alliance intends to introduce a new currency to the global currency market in order to compete with the U.S. dollar and the euro. A former advisor to the Russian president, Sergey Glazyev, verified early this month that the BRICS currency is \u201calmost ready\u201d for introduction.<\/p>\n

According to reports, the alliance could launch the currency at its sixteenth summit in 2024. This development aligns with Germany\u2019s strategic intention to challenge rival currencies in the market by developing a digital Euro.<\/p>\n

Legislators throughout Europe, not just in Germany, are attempting to establish national digital currencies in order to adapt to the shifting financial landscape. While over 150 countries are currently developing CBDCs, only a few have launched pilots as of this year. \u2026<\/p>\n

Although a small number of EU member states support the CBDC, the rest have expressed interest in the notion that a digital currency is unnecessary.<\/p>\n

The BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) have as one of their founding goals, to eliminate the need to use USA dollars in cross-border trade. Six additional nations have been invited to join BRICS in 2024, and India reports that six more are also being looked at. The BRICS nations have already began to drop the USA dollar for some cross-border trading with Russia and China indicating that they had almost done so completely in late 2023. What will happen to the economy and value of the USA dollar if more and more nations stop using it as a primary reserve and trading currency? What about hyperinflation? Does the Bible prophesy destruction for a highly indented nation in the end time? Is the USA the most indebted nation of all time? What about the intent and use of the Euro?
