Most gas stations and convenience stores in DeKalb still do not comply with the county\u2019s video surveillance requirements that went into effect last year, but they will now have more time to get right with a law meant to reduce crime.<\/p>\n

A total of 213 businesses are subject to the ordinance, which requires the stores to install and maintain high-quality video surveillance systems covering entrances and exits, cash registers, all gas pumps and any loading docks. Stores must also install cameras in parking lots. …<\/p>\n

As of Jan. 24, only 69 stores were in compliance, county spokesman Quinn Hudson said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In a letter to noncompliant businesses last month, the county extended the deadline to July 1. Those not in compliance by then will be subject to citation and license revocation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

DeKalb County hired six additional code enforcement officers to enforce the new regulations. …<\/p>\n

Of the 213 stores, the county\u2019s records show 16 have closed. Apparently, most of the business targeted by that ordinance do not think they need to have surveillance cameras–but the government intends to force them to anyway.<\/p>\n

While we are all consumed with Joe Biden’s bumblings and Donald Trump’s trials, the federal government’s rapacious appetite for spying on the private behavior of Americans as to whom it has no suspicion of wrongdoing continues unabated. Last week, Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., revealed that the National Security Agency has been buying huge caches of Americans’ text messages and emails from Big Tech, and the FBI has been using this data to predict crime. Both of these undertakings are profoundly unconstitutional. …<\/p>\n

The purpose of the Fourth Amendment was to prevent the government from utilizing general warrants by requiring instead judicially authorized search warrants issued under narrow circumstances, and to restrict government privacy invasions to prosecuting crimes that had already been committed. James Madison, who drafted the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, shared the hatred that the colonists-turned-Americans had for unrestrained government. …<\/p>\n

Madison’s language in the Fourth Amendment preserving privacy but permitting the government to invade it only upon a showing, under oath, of probable cause of crime, and then requiring the warrant to specify in writing the place to be searched or the person or thing to be seized. General warrants were used to predict crime and revolutionary behavior. The Fourth Amendment outlawed invasions of privacy for such governmental predictions.<\/p>\n

After 9\/11, in the collective spirit of fear, timidity and subservience to the presidency, and in utter disregard for its members’ oaths to uphold the Constitution, Congress enacted the Patriot Act. It permits one federal agent to authorize another federal agent to search and seize whatever the latter wishes to look at and capture so long as it is in the possession of third-party financial institutions.<\/p>\n

Over the years, the definition of “financial institution” has been radically expanded by both legislation and presidential orders so as to include nearly every conceivable entity that has any records about any person in America \u2013 from banks to hospitals to lawyers to merchants to credit card issuers to telecoms and computer service providers and even the post office. https:\/\/www.wnd.com\/2024\/02\/now-feds-buying-emails\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Innocent until proven guilty or presumed guilty until proven innocent?<\/p>\n

Notice something else related to the fourth amendment to the US Constitution:<\/p>\n

Amendment Four to the Constitution was ratified on December 15, 1791. It protects the American people from unreasonable searches and seizures. The official text is written as such:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

At the time of its creation, the Fourth Amendment was made in response to increasing infringements on privacy in both the colonies and in England. In England, \u201cgeneral warrants\u201d authorized royal officials to pursue and search the belongings of a person without any cause other than the perceived suspicion that they were political enemies. Meanwhile in the colonies, \u201cwrits of assistance\u201d authorized officials to track down and conduct warrantless searches for untaxed items. Both the \u201cgeneral warrants\u201d and \u201cwrits of assistance\u201d were challenged in court, but only the former was considered to be a violation of the law. A key element of the Fourth Amendment was that every search or seizure of an individual\u2019s home and property was to be authorized by a judge beforehand, and that the entire operation had to be on the grounds of \u201cprobable cause.\u201d https:\/\/www.reaganlibrary.gov\/constitutional-amendments-amendment-4-right-privacyaccessed<\/a> 02\/02\/24<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yes, the USA and others are looking at electronic communications in order to categorize and go after various ones who have political, religious, and other views various ones in government oppose.<\/p>\n

We have also seen various steps in Canada (see NewsPunch: Canada Unveils Orwellian \u201cPre-Crime\u201d Hate Speech Bill \u2013 \u201cIf You Think It, We\u2019ll Arrest You\u201d<\/a>) and Europe (see\u00a0EU, USA, and WEF moving towards making thoughts a crime?<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Long ago, my wife and I saw the 2002 movie ‘Minority Report.’ In it, government agents would arrest people for crimes that the government said they would commit in the future. Here is some information about it:<\/p>\n

Minority Report<\/b><\/i> is a 2002 American neo-noir<\/a> science fiction<\/a> action film<\/a>[5]<\/a><\/sup> directed by Steven Spielberg<\/a>, starring Tom Cruise<\/a>, and loosely based on the 1956 short story “The Minority Report<\/a>” by Philip K. Dick<\/a>. The picture is set primarily in Washington, D.C.<\/a>, and Northern Virginia in the year 2054, where PreCrime<\/a>, a specialized police department, apprehends criminals based on foreknowledge<\/a> provided by psychics called “precogs<\/a>“. We are getting closer to that type of thing in many parts of the world–but instead of ‘precogs” being used, police profiles, internal espionage, electronic surveillance, use of ‘political’ & religious words, and ‘artificial intelligence ‘ are getting involved.<\/p>\n

Now consider something else that the Bill of Rights in the US Constitution states:<\/p>\n

6th Amendment<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

These rights<\/b> are given to all men or women under trial for any sort of wrongdoing. They establish the \u201cinnocent until proven guilty<\/b>\u201d mantra that is present in the United States legal system.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yet on this point, the USA has been changing. Federal agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security and the Internal Revenue Service long ago put the burden of proof of innocence on the accused–despite the 6th amendment.<\/p>\n

This particular precrime division will fall under the Department of Homeland Security, …<\/p>\n

The intent, of course, is for the government to be all-seeing, all-knowing and all-powerful in its preemptive efforts to combat domestic extremism. …<\/p>\n

In the blink of an eye, ordinary Americans will find themselves labeled domestic extremists for engaging in lawful behavior that triggers the government\u2019s precrime sensors.<\/p>\n

Of course, it\u2019s an elaborate setup: we\u2019ll all be targets.<\/p>\n

In such a suspect society, the burden of proof is reversed so that guilt is assumed and innocence must be proven.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the American police state\u2019s take on the dystopian terrors foreshadowed by George Orwell, Aldous Huxley and Phillip K. Dick all rolled up into one oppressive pre-crime<\/a> and pre-thought<\/a> crime package.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s more, the technocrats who run the surveillance state don\u2019t even have to break a sweat while monitoring what you say, what you read, what you write, where you go, how much you spend, whom you support, and with whom you communicate.<\/p>\n

Computers now do the tedious work of trolling social media, the internet, text messages and phone calls for potentially anti-government remarks, all of which is carefully recorded, documented, and stored to be used against you someday at a time and place of the government\u2019s choosing.<\/p>\n

In this way, with the help of automated eyes and ears, a growing arsenal of high-tech software, hardware and techniques, government propaganda urging Americans to turn into spies and snitches, as well as social media and behavior sensing software<\/a>, government agents are spinning a sticky spider-web of threat assessments<\/a>, behavioral sensing warnings, flagged \u201cwords,\u201d and \u201csuspicious\u201d activity reports aimed at snaring potential<\/em> enemies of the state. …<\/p>\n

The following activities are guaranteed to get you censored, surveilled, eventually placed on a government watch list, possibly detained and potentially killed.<\/p>\n

Use harmless trigger words like cloud, pork and pirates<\/strong>: The Department of Homeland Security has an expansive list of keywords and phrases it uses to monitor social networking sites and online media for signs of terrorist or other threats. While you\u2019ll definitely send up an alert for using phrases such as dirty bomb, Jihad and Agro terror<\/a>, you\u2019re just as likely to get flagged for surveillance if you reference the terms SWAT, lockdown, police, cloud, food poisoning, pork, flu, Subway, smart, delays, cancelled<\/a>, la familia, pirates, hurricane, forest fire, storm, flood, help, ice, snow<\/a>, worm, warning or social media.<\/p>\n

Use a cell phone: <\/strong>Simply by using a cell phone, you make yourself an easy target for government agents\u2014… Mention any of the so-called \u201ctrigger\u201d words in a conversation or text message, and you\u2019ll get flagged for sure.<\/p>\n

Drive a car: <\/strong>Unless you\u2019ve got an old junkyard heap without any of the gadgets and gizmos that are so attractive to today\u2019s car buyers (GPS, satellite radio, electrical everything, smart systems, etc.), driving a car today is like wearing a homing device: you\u2019ll be tracked from the moment you open that car door thanks to black box recorders and vehicle-to-vehicle communications systems<\/a> …. https:\/\/www.rutherford.org\/publications_resources\/john_whiteheads_commentary\/total_tyranny_well_all_be_targeted_under_the_governments_new_precrime_program<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Many big tech companies, governments, and world leaders are biased against the Bible and those who claim to teach what it teaches.<\/p>\n

Jesus repeatedly condemned religious leaders for hypocrisy (e.g. Matthew 15:7-9; Luke 11:43-44). The major media in the USA are no less guilty of hypocrisy. This will not end well for the USA (Isaiah 10:5-12).<\/p>\n

Furthermore, 666 control and Orwellian suppression of the truth are coming. I have warned for over a decade that internet censorship looked to be a factor.<\/p>\n

As far as control and loss of freedom to spread the truth goes, notice these scriptures:<\/p>\n

15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.<\/p>\n

A totalitarian system will be put in place. Internet companies are making it easier for this to occur.<\/p>\n

Shadow-banning and deplatforming of religious materials has been taking place.<\/p>\n

Yet, it will get even worse.<\/p>\n

However, Matthew 24:14 will be fulfilled BEFORE the full \u2018famine of the word\u2019 happens. That is part of the reason we have had our English language booklet, Gospel of the Kingdom of God<\/a>, translated into over 1000 languages (see Preaching the Gospel in Over 1000 Languages<\/a>)–and we continue to receive about 3 additional translations every single day.<\/p>\n

Note the Bible shows that after the Gospel of the Kingdom of God<\/a> has sufficiently reached the world, the end comes and the Beast will rise up (Matthew 24:14-22, Revelation 13) and more totalitarian controls will be put in place.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Censorship and government interference with religion are increasing.<\/p>\n

\nSuddenly they shoot at him and do not fear.<\/p>\n

5 They encourage themselves in an evil matter;
\nThey talk of laying snares secretly;
\nThey say, \u201cWho will see them?\u201d
\n6 They devise iniquities:
\n\u201cWe have perfected a shrewd scheme.\u201d
\nBoth the inward thought and the heart of man are deep. (Psalm 64:1-6)<\/p>\n

9 Keep me from the snares they have laid for me,
\nAnd from the traps of the workers of iniquity.
\n10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets,
\nWhile I escape safely. (Psalm 141:9-10)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

You might think that if you have done nothing wrong you have nothing to fear from the snares of surveillance. Consider that unless you are a Philadelphian Christian or will not take the mark of the beast or the number of his name, you will be considered an enemy and will be subject to persecution from the Beast power. There is no other reliable \u2018escape\u2019\u2013even living off the grid is not going to be safe (cf. Amos 3:9-14; Lamentations 4:19<\/span>; see also\u00a0Physical Preparation Scriptures for Christians<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Further consider that many in the governments of the West consider that those not supporting homosexual marriages<\/a>, transgender matters, etc. are extremist. If you accept that the Bible teaches that homosexuals can change (1 Corinthians 6:9-11), that is something certain so-called \u201cfact checkers\u201d disagree with. Let me add that I also saw someone once on a documentary that stated that people who believed in the millennium<\/a> could not be trusted and should be considered as potential terrorists. The fact that we in the Continuing<\/em> Church of God<\/a> would be considered pacifists<\/a>, does not change the fact that, since we hold to millennial and other biblical views, we can be improperly classified as extremist by government employees with various agendas. Having biblical views are becoming more problematic in the world (see ZH: Germany has killed freedom of speech and expects the rest of the EU to do the same<\/a>).<\/p>\n

While the Europeans and North Americans decry internet and speech restrictions in various countries in Asia, Africa, and elsewhere, they are also implementing more surveillance and more restrictions themselves.<\/p>\n

The Bible says to:<\/p>\n

1 Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins. (Isaiah 58:1)<\/span><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

And that warning includes telling of sins and prophecies that discuss punishment. We have been doing that.<\/p>\n

Yet, the Bible also warns:<\/p>\n

13 Therefore the prudent keep silent at that time, For it is an evil time. (Amos 5:13)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

More speech restrictions, censorship, and persecutions are coming (cf. Revelation 13).<\/p>\n

It is sad that the West keeps taking steps in that direction.<\/p>\n

Technology, government desires for surveillance, and biblical prophecy are all pointing to a coming totalitarian state.<\/p>\n
