Official Photograph of Barack Obama, 44th President of the United States<\/em><\/p>\n COGwriter<\/a><\/p>\n In a bold move, Barack Obama granted his first interview as USA President with an Arab source:<\/p>\n By PAUL SCHEMM<\/span>,<\/p>\n<\/div>\n AP posted: 1 HOUR 49 MINUTES AGO<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n CAIRO, Egypt (Jan. 27) – President Barack Obama on Tuesday chose an Arabic satellite TV network for his first formal television interview as president, delivering a message to the Muslim world that “Americans are not your enemy.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The interview underscored Obama’s commitment to repair relations with the Muslim world that have suffered under the previous administration…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n My job to the Muslim world is to communicate that the Americans are not your enemy,” Obama told the Saudi-owned, Dubai-based Al-Arabiya news channel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Obama said the U.S. had made mistakes in the past but “that the same respect and partnership that America had with the Muslim world as recently as 20 or 30 years ago, there’s no reason why we can’t restore that.”…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Obama called for a new partnership with the Muslim world “based on mutual respect and mutual interest.” He talked about growing up in Indonesia, the Muslim world’s most populous nation, and noted that he has Muslim relatives<\/strong>…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n In his latest message on Jan. 14, al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden said Obama had been left with a “heavy inheritance” of Bush’s wars.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Shortly after the election, the network’s number two, Ayman al-Zawahri used a demeaning racial term for a black American who does the bidding of whites to describe Obama.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The message suggested the terror network was worried Obama could undermine its rallying cry that the U.S. is an enemy oppressor. http:\/\/news.aol.com\/main\/obama-presidency\/article\/obama-interview-arab-tv\/318769<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n While peace is a desirable objective, because of his timing as president and his own comments, it appears that Barack Obama may help fulfill both biblical and possibly even Islamic prophecy.<\/p>\n Notice some of what Forbes reported earlier related to an Islamic prophecy:<\/p>\n Is Barack Obama the \u201cpromised warrior<\/strong>\u201d coming to help the Hidden Imam<\/strong> of Shiite Muslims conquer the world?<\/span><\/p>\n The question has made the rounds in Iran since last month, when a pro-government Web site published a Hadith (or tradition) from a Shiite text of the 17th century. The tradition comes from Bahar al-Anvar<\/strong><\/em> (meaning Oceans of Light) by Mullah Majlisi, a magnum opus in 132 volumes and the basis of modern Shiite Islam.<\/span><\/p>\n According to the tradition, Imam Ali Ibn Abi-Talib<\/strong> (the prophet\u2019s cousin and son-in-law) prophesied<\/strong> that at the End of Times<\/strong> and just before the return of the Mahdi, the Ultimate Saviour, a \u201ctall black man will assume the reins of government in the West.\u201d Commanding \u201cthe strongest army on earth,\u201d the new ruler in the West will carry \u201ca clear sign\u201d from the third imam, whose name was Hussein Ibn Ali. The tradition concludes: \u201cShiites should have no doubt that he is with us<\/em>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n In a curious coincidence Obama\u2019s first and second names\u2013Barack Hussein\u2013mean \u201cthe blessing of Hussein\u201d in Arabic and Persian.
