This EO places \u201cthe highest urgency on research and development efforts into the potential design and deployment options of a United States CBDC.\u201d It also calls for a whole-of-government approach to regulating digital assets. The first thing Vivek did after exiting the race after the Iowa Caucus was to convince Donald Trump that he should oppose CBDCs. Christine Lagarde, President of the European Central Bank, remarked,\u00a0\u201cWithout CBDC, we risk losing the role of anchor.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Christine Lagarde, head of the European Central Bank, admitted that the purpose of CBDCs, like the digital euro, is control. She also noted<\/a> that those who pay more than 1,000 EUR in cash for any transaction are doing so off the grid and will be fined or go to jail.<\/p>\n

Whoa, using your own cash for private transactions over 1,000 EUR in the European Union will send you to jail? That\u2019s a pretty scary thought.<\/p>\n

Are there any reports as to how China is using its CBDC?<\/p>\n

Wired <\/em>magazine reports<\/a> that \u201cChina\u2019s Digital Yuan Works Just Like Cash\u2014With Added Surveillance.\u201d<\/p>\n

Back in January 2021, a Forbes article had the headline<\/a>: \u201cChina\u2019s Digital Yuan Reported To Be the Ultimate Financial Censorship Tool.\u201d …<\/p>\n

At the beginning of his tenure, President Joe Biden signed Executive Order\u00a014067 on \u201cEnsuring Responsible Development of Digital Assets.\u201d Hidden in section 4 of this order is some alarming language. In just a few paragraphs, our current president has possibly set the stage for\u2026<\/p>\n
