COGwriter<\/a><\/p>\n

As reported earlier, famed SDA scholar and historian Samuele Bacchiocchi died last month (see SDA Samuele Bacchiocchi Died<\/a>).\u00a0 For many years he maintained a website called Biblical Perspectives<\/em>.\u00a0 When people with relatively popular websites die (Richard Nickels of Giving & Sharing comes to mind as do others), typically their websites stay online for quite some time.<\/p>\n

However, even though I tried two different browsers this morning, Dr. Bacchiocchi’s site www.biblicalperspectives.com would not load.\u00a0 And while he and I were not always in agreement (and had major theological differences and perspectives), I also appreciated his reporting of various doctrinal\/historical facts about his church (the Seventh-day Adventists).<\/p>\n

Anyway, presuming that the Biblical Perspectives<\/em> website remains gone, a useful online resource has been lost.\u00a0 And while I do not consider that the SDAs are part of the COGs, this loss will impact those of us in the COGs interested in various details concerning various changes and doctrinal developments.<\/p>\n

And speaking of differing theological perspectives, an article of related interest to these matters would include SDA\/LCG Differences: Two Horned Beast of Revelation and 666<\/a><\/p>\n
