Germany’s leader met with Vatican City’s leader today:<\/p>\n

Pope Francis has received German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in the Vatican.<\/p>\n

Although the two had already met at Pope Benedict XVI’s funeral at the beginning of 2023, this was their first private audience. They had also spoken on the phone – after the start of the war in Ukraine two years ago, for example.<\/p>\n

After his meeting with the Pope, Chancellor Scholz met with Vatican Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro Parolin.<\/p>\n

“I am very grateful for the extensive conversation with the Pope,” the Social Democratic politician said after he had finished his visit.<\/p>\n

“We also naturally discussed the major challenges and problems of our times and talked about topics that concern us all,” Chancellor Scholz continued. https:\/\/www.vaticannews.va\/en\/pope\/news\/2024-03\/olaf-scholz-chancellor-germany-pope-francis-migration-war.html<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Now, Vatican City is very small (0.19 square miles\/0.49 square kms), has little in terms of population (an estimated 764 live there), and is not even in the European Union, yet German Chancellor Olaf Scholz met with Pope Francis.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Olaf Scholz is “non-denominational,” hence not even a member of Francis’ church.<\/p>\n

Yet, he and many leaders have figuratively “kissed the ring” of the Vatican, acknowledging its authority.<\/p>\n

Now notice some items related to the type of government Olaf Scholtz and his supporters have wanted for Europe when he was coming into power:<\/p>\n

The new German alliance wants to lead the creation of the United States of Europe<\/h2>\n

With Annalena Bierbock as Germany\u2019s foreign minister, the country can be expected to move towards a more federal structure of the European Union. After all, Baerbock, the leader of Die Gr\u00fcnen, is a convinced Europhile and would likely pursue a foreign policy that could be described as a blueprint for the United States of Europe.<\/strong><\/p>\n

THE new German government is pressing for further integration with the European Union in a move set to pave the way for a so-called “United States of Europe”.<\/h3>\n

Social Democrat (SPD) leader and incoming Chancellor Olaf Scholz<\/a> agreed an historic three-way coalition this week with the Greens and Free Democrats. SPD\u2019s Europe negotiator in the coalition talks, Udo Bullmann, said the government will be seeking a closer relationship with Europe and suggested this would be easier because Brexit has been finalised.<\/p>\n

He told German magazine Der Spiegel: \u201cGermany needs to send a signal in which direction the German government would like the European Union to develop.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are not despondent, we don\u2019t look back and we don\u2019t have the Brexit shock in our bones.<\/p>\n

We want to take courageous steps towards integration because we know that time is short and people are waiting for them.\u201d 11\/27\/21 https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/news\/world\/1527755\/EU-news-united-states-of-europe-olaf-scholz-Germany-chancellor<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Notice that the incoming German Chancellor ‘s representative stated that his government realizes “that time is short.” And it is.<\/p>\n

7 December 2017<\/p>\n

In a speech at the SPD\u2019s party conference in Berlin that called for the creation of a \u201cUnited States of Europe\u201d by the year 2023, as well as a more robust social security net and a phasing out of coal power, Martin Schulz made the case for entering open-ended talks with the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). …<\/p>\n

Schulz told delegates that he wanted EU member states to sign off on a \u201cconstitutional treaty\u201d that committed the bloc to take steps towards a federal Europe<\/a> https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2017\/dec\/07\/martin-schulz-united-states-of-europe-germany-sdp<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

While it did not happen in 2023, that is still the goal of many in Europe.<\/p>\n

Back in 2016, the then French Prime Minister, Manuel Valls, called for a militaristic United States of Europe (see \u2018French Prime Minister Argues For United States Of Europe, With Its Own Military\u2019<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Consider also that in August 2011, Ursula von der Leyen (who is now EU Commission President) said: \u201cMy aim is a united states of Europe, run along the lines of the federal states of Switzerland, Germany or the USA.\u201d (Spiegel interview<\/a>)<\/p>\n

In the December 1948 issue of The Plain Truth<\/em> Herbert W. Armstrong<\/a> predicted a coming “United States of Europe” when he wrote:<\/p>\n

It was the SERMON that shot forth that spark, impregnating the minds of world leaders in attendance. This amazing sermon was delivered by a foremost radio speaker of the Catholic Church, Bishop Duane G. Hunt of Salt Lake City … Without the guidance, supervision, authority of the Catholic Church, he told these men, they were laboring in vain …<\/p>\n

This was the Roman Catholic bid to resurrect the so-called \u201cHOLY ROMAN EMPIRE\u201d ! And PROPHECY says they will succeed! … At the psychological time, the pope will step in … Thru this political movement, he will UNIFY … nations in Europe. It will be a \u201cThe UNITED STATES OF EUROPE,\u201d but that probably will never become its official name. (Armstrong HW. Now It Can Be Told…The Plain Truth,<\/em> December 1948, pp. 2,5).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yes, Roman Catholic leaders have long wanted some type of a United States of Europe. Notice that he believed it would take a combination of Europeans and the Church of Rome to make that happen.<\/p>\n

Why?<\/p>\n

Because of scriptures in the 17th chapter of the Book of Revelation.<\/p>\n

Related to some of that, Herbert W. Armstrong<\/a> stated:<\/p>\n

(Revelation 17:1-3). “And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials,” vials that contain the seven last plagues, incidentally, that have been described just before this, “and talked with me, and said unto me, Come hither and I will show thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters.”
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Now a woman is symbolic of a church, and he’s speaking of a great church that sits on many waters. Now in verse 15 (Revelation 17:15): “And he saith unto me, The waters which thou saw, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and different languages.” In other words, it was a church ruling over different nations speaking different languages.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

(v.2) “With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication,” because Christ is the king, and the church is the affianced bride of Christ, and if we’re in the church, we’re supposed to be true to Christ and not the kings of this world. “…And the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So he carried me away into the wilderness, and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast…” That is a wild animal.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

And this beast represented a government, just like I showed you and mentioned to you from the 7th chapter of Daniel, and the 13th chapter of Revelation. “…Full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.” Now this was a very great church, for example, and ruling over many of them. Now he gives a name, an identity: (v.5) “And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT…” (Revelation 17:5) In other words, the Babylonian mystery religion, which was the same religion that old King Nebuchadnezzar had. The Babylonian mystery religion, coming down to our time, “THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” (Armstrong HW. Visions of the End Time. World Tomorrow telecast, November 6, 1978<\/span>)
\n<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Leaders like the non-Roman Catholic Scholtz visiting and consulting with pontiffs like Francis continues to help set the stage for the rise of the end time, Babylonian church-state alliance that will occur in Europe.<\/p>\n

The Bible itself teaches that Europe will reorganize:<\/p>\n

12 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. (Revelation 17:12-13)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What Martin Schulz, Manuel Valls, Olaf Scholtz and other have called for will one day lead to the above prophesied reorganizations–and we are likely to see other reorganizations prior to that.<\/p>\n

As far as Germany and a \u2018United States of Europe\u2019 goes, the old Worldwide Church of God warned about this coming for decades last century:<\/p>\n

\u201cO Assyrian, the rod of MINE anger<\/em>, and the staff in their hand is MINE indignation<\/em>, I WILL SEND HIM against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath (rebellious Israel) will I give him a charge (command), to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets<\/em>\u201d (Isa. 10:5,6). Yes, God is going to take the nation of Germany as the head of a United Europe into his hand as a club<\/em> to punish the nations of Israel for their rebellion against Him! Howbeit he meanth not so, neither does his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy<\/em> and cut off nations not a few\u201d (vs. 7). Germany, those living in Germany, even the German government, may not yet know that they are going to join in a treaty with the Russians to destroy the United States and bring it to its knees-it is not in his \u201cheart\u201d to think so, but on the other hand it IS in his \u201cheart\u201d to destroy-the very characteristic of the Assyrian, the modern German, is a harsh, cruel, iron, dedication to militarism and destruction!<\/em> This is just the kind of nation God needs to use as a rod in His hand to punish His people!<\/p>\n

Does this then mean that the Germans at the head of a United Europe do have a spiritual mission to perform? Does this mean that they are right<\/em> in claiming to be the \u201cDefenders of the West\u201d and the champions of Christianity!? No!<\/p>\n

God\u2019s Destiny for Germany<\/strong><\/p>\n

Despite the fact that it is God who will use Germany to destroy America, Germany must be destroyed as well for HER rebellion against God<\/em>\u2014\u201cI will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks. For he saith, by the strength of my<\/em> hand I have done it, and by my<\/em> wisdom; for I am prudent!\u201d (Is. 10:12,13)<\/p>\n

The leaders of a United Europe, when they succeed against the United States, will begin to think THEIR prudent planning, THEIR wise ideas and THEIR powerful might<\/em> have made them successful! They will not realize that they have only been used as a base<\/em> tool of destruction in the hand of the Almighty God! \u201cShall the axe boast itself against him that hews therewith? Or shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? as if the rod<\/em> should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself, as if it were no wood\u201d (Isa. 10:15). God explains here that despite the fact that He has used<\/em> Assyria to punish Israel, Assyria is also <\/em>rebellious against His law and government, His way, and since it will magnify itself against the very God of creation, as Dan. 11: 36 and 37 explain, GOD WILL HAVE TO PUNISH IT FOR THIS.<\/em><\/p>\n

So GOD<\/em> says, \u201cThe Lord of hosts has sworn. saying, Surely as I have thought<\/em>, so SHALL IT COME TO PASS: and as I have purposed<\/em>, so SHALL IT STAND; That I will break the Assyrian in my land<\/em>, and upon my mountains TREAD HIM UNDER FOOT: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their (the Israelites) shoulders\u201d (Isa.14: 24,25). Just shortly before Jesus Christ Himself intervenes in this world\u2019s affairs. He will take another nation as a punishing club in His hands and punish the proud Assyrians,<\/em> the modern Germans at the head of the United States of Europe<\/strong>. \u201cBehold, I will stir up the Medes<\/em> against them, which shall nor regard silver; and as for gold they shall not delight in it \u2026 Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children. And Babylon (the modern resurrected and revived Roman Empire, dominated by a fascist Germany), the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees\u2019 excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah!\u201d (Is. 13: 17-19.) \u2026<\/p>\n

Since God himself<\/em> has pronounced a curse on modern Israel, and is going to hand us over to the Assyrians, it is evident that we CANNOT TRUST in the American way of life either!<\/em><\/p>\n

Nothing is left outside these three great systems and powers on earth, under man, except Anarchy!<\/p>\n

MAN\u2019S ONLY HOPE LIES IN TURNING TO HIS CREATOR GOD!<\/em> \u2026<\/p>\n

YOUR only hope<\/em> as an individual is to turn to God-to the Living Creator who is working out events here below on this earth-who is very concerned about <\/em>YOU, who promises you safety from these horrible times to come! Heed the warning given by Jeremiah! The only \u2018Way to escape these dire prophecies of God is by REPENTANCE- nationally or individually! (Hill DJ, God\u2019s Destiny for Germany. A \u201cUnited States of Europe\u201d possessing\u00a0one\u00a0single currency<\/em> \u2014 a currency so strong that it will replace the U.S. dollar as the kingpin currency of world trade.\u00a0 A United Europe developing great military strength to protect its unprecedented standard of living and its Number One position in the world. (Hogberg G. Rising World Colossus: <\/em>Ambassador College, 1971)
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Much of Europe now does have a single currency. We also have the European Union.<\/p>\n

A German-dominated European military is also being forged–and officially was in late 2017 with something called PESCO (watch also PESCO and a Great European Army<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The Bible shows that a German-dominated power will destroy (Isaiah 10:5-12).<\/p>\n

The Bible also tells of the King of Assyria being involved in doing so (Isaiah 10:12-14).<\/p>\n

This power will affect the USA and its Anglo-Saxon descended allies like Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom:<\/p>\n

39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain.<\/p>\n

40 \u201cAt the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through. (Daniel 11:39-40)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Notice that two kings are discussed. One is the final King of the North<\/a>. He is the one who will have the power to succeed against the \u2018strongest fortresses.\u2019 (The second is the final King of the South<\/a>, who will also be defeated by the King of the North<\/a> after the USA is out of the way.)<\/p>\n

In the 21st century, the strongest fortresses belong to the USA, and to a lesser degree, its Anglo-Saxon-Celtic descended allies.<\/p>\n

The King of Assyria and the King of the North are references to the same power. A power that will destroy the USA and cause its Anglo-Saxon descended allies to also be taken over (see also Will the Anglo-Saxon Nations be Divided and Have People Taken as Slaves?<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The Vatican wants more political involvement in Europe and many European leaders want to get the Vatican involved.<\/p>\n
