A rough translation of the central bank\u2019s announcement\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.boi.org.il\/publications\/pressreleases\/a28-05-24\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow noreferrer\">read<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-ct-non-breakable=\"true\"><p>\u201cAs part of the action plan for the possible issuance of the digital shekel, the Bank of Israel is planning the \u2018Digital Shekel Challenge\u2019 \u2014 an experiment inspired by the \u2018Project Rosalind\u2019 carried out by the BIS Innovation Hub.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p data-ct-non-breakable=\"true\">Project Rosalind is a joint experimentation between the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) and the Bank of England and aims to develop prototypes for an application programming interface (API). <a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/israel-accelerates-digital-shekel-development\">https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/israel-accelerates-digital-shekel-development<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Last month, the World Economic Forum (WEF) seems pleased that most nations are intending to adopt Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs):<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h2 class=\"ArticleFull_title__FDrpw\">Cashless Society: WEF Boasts That 98% Of Central Banks Are Adopting CBDCs<\/h2>\n<p>April 25, 2024<\/p>\n<p>The WEF recently boasted <a href=\"https:\/\/www3.weforum.org\/docs\/WEF_Modernizing_Financial_Markets_with_Wholesale_Central_Bank_Digital_Currency_2024.pdf\">in a new white paper<\/a> that 98% of all central banks are now pursuing CBDC programs.\u00a0 The report, titled &#8216;Modernizing Financial Markets With Wholesale Central Bank Digital Currency&#8217;, notes:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>\u201cCeBM is ideal for systemically important transactions despite the emergence of alternative payment instruments&#8230;Wholesale central bank digital currency (wCBDC) is a form of CeBM that could unlock new economic models and integration points that are not possible today.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The paper primarily focuses on the streamlining of crossborder transactions, an effort which the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) has been deeply involved in for the past few years.\u00a0 It also highlights an odd concept of differentiated CBDC mechanisms, each one specifically designed to be used by different institutions for different reasons.\u00a0 Wholesale CBDCs would be used only by banking institutions, governments and some global corporations, as opposed to Retail CBDCs which would be reserved for the regular population. &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>By extension, the adoption of CBDCs by governments and global banks will ultimately lead to what the WEF calls &#8220;dematerialization&#8221; &#8211; The removal of physical securities and money.\u00a0 The WEF states:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>&#8220;As with the Bank of England\u2019s (BOE) RTGS modernization programme, the intention is to introduce a fully digitized securities system that is future-proofed for incremental adoption of DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology). The tokenization of assets involves creating digital tokens representing underlying assets like real estate, equities, digital art, intellectual property and even cash. Tokenization is a key use case for blockchain, with some estimates pointing towards $4-5 trillion in tokenized securities on DLTa\u00a0 by 2030.&#8221;\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Finally, they let the cat out of the bag:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>&#8220;The BIS proposed two models for bringing tokenization into the monetary system: 1) Bring CBDCs, DTs and tokenized assets on to a common unified ledger, and 2) pursue incremental progress by creating interlinking systems.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>They determined the latter option was more feasible given that the former requires a reimagination of financial systems. Experimentation with the unified ledger concept is ongoing.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To interpret this into decoded language &#8211; The unified ledger is essentially another term for a one world digital currency system completely centralized and under the control of global banks like the BIS and IMF.\u00a0 The WEF and BIS are acknowledging the difficulty of introducing such a system without opposition, so, they are recommending incremental introduction using &#8220;interlinking systems&#8221; (attaching CBDCs to paper currencies and physical contracts and then slowly but surely dematerializing those assets and making digital the new norm).\u00a0 It&#8217;s the totalitarian tip-toe.<\/p>\n<p>The BIS predicts there will be at least 9 major CBDCs in circulation by the year 2030; this is likely an understatement of the intended plan.\u00a0 Globalists have hinted in the past that they prefer total digitization by 2030.<\/p>\n<p>A cashless society would be the end game for economic anonymity and freedom in trade. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/economics\/cashless-society-wef-boasts-98-central-banks-are-adopting-cbdcs\">https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/economics\/cashless-society-wef-boasts-98-central-banks-are-adopting-cbdcs<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Yes, the WEF wants all financial transactions to be digital. Yes, a cashless society ends &#8220;economic anonymity and freedom.&#8221; Such is also basically prophesied to come to pass in the Bible in Revelation 13:15-18.<\/p>\n<p>Donald Trump has pledged to stop the USA from getting a CBDC as he also pointed out some issues with them:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h2>Trump Vows to Stop Biden Bucks<\/h2>\n<p>May 28, 2024<\/p>\n<p>This past weekend, Donald Trump spoke at the Libertarian Party\u2019s national convention. \u2026<\/p>\n<p>Trump was cheered when he addressed a topic I\u2019ve been talking about for over two years \u2014 central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), or as I call them, Biden Bucks.<\/p>\n<p>Trump pledged that he would block the implementation of CBDCs if elected:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"blockquote\"><i>To protect Americans from government tyranny, as your president, I will never allow the creation of a central bank digital currency.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He warned that CBDCs were a \u201cdangerous threat to freedom\u201d and that they would give the government \u201cabsolute control\u201d over money.<\/p>\n<p>Whatever you think of Trump personally, he\u2019s absolutely correct about CBDCs. I\u2019ve extensively documented the threats they pose to your freedom and privacy. The federal government would be able to track every purchase you made and punish you if it didn\u2019t approve of how you spent your money.<\/p>\n<p>CBDCs are direct liabilities of a central bank. That means they own the money \u2014 you don\u2019t. With that comes control. They basically give you permission to use that money, but permission can be subject to conditions.<\/p>\n<p>And in case of recession, they could impose negative interest rates on your money in order to force you to spend money, which is supposed to stimulate the economy. <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyreckoning.com\/trump-vows-to-stop-biden-bucks-2\/\">https:\/\/dailyreckoning.com\/trump-vows-to-stop-biden-bucks-2\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Donald Trump and others are aware of some of the risks and problems associated with CBDCs.<\/p>\n<p>But neither he nor other actions by politicians in the USA will stop what is coming in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Bible, Europe will end up with the ability to control and monitor buying and selling (Revelation 13:16-18).<\/p>\n<p>Moves in that direction were part of #13 of my list of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/2024prophecies.htm\">24 items to prophetically watch in 2024<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h2 class=\"style4\">13. CBDCs and 666<\/h2>\n<p class=\"style4\">Notice the following prophecy:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"style4\">16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style4\">18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. (Revelation 13:16-18)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"style4\">This type of financial surveillance could not have happened during the time of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/john.htm\">Apostle John<\/a> as there was no real way to monitor many financial transactions then (despite the fact that \u2018preterists\u2019 believe this was fulfilled almost 2000 years ago, see also <a href=\"http:\/\/cogwriter.com\/preterism.htm\">The Dangerous Rise of Preterists<\/a>). The same was true for all the centuries that followed until the late 20th and now the 21st century. But now not only does the technology exist to monitor most financial transactions, the political will is there as well.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style4\">It will be a European power that will fulfill the above prophecy of 666 (watch <a title=\"Can You Prove that the Beast to Come is European?\" href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=-ZOCVZMXHSU\" data-sessionlink=\"ei=u2oWUZXyBcaDhgG7z4CoCA&amp;feature=plcp\">Can You Prove that the Beast to Come is European?<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p class=\"style4\">It will likely take supercomputers aided with artificial intelligence to aid in the fulfillment of the scriptures in Revelation 13:15-18, as well as cyber-spying\/monitoring. I do believe that cyber monitoring will be used by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/europa.htm\">European Beast<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/kingofthenorth.htm\">King of the North<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/sdawhite.htm\">666 power<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style4\">We are seeing a move to digital\/electronic money.
