Some are again bringing up Michelle Obama:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h2 class=\"article\">Reuters\/Ipsos: Only Michelle Obama Bests Trump as an Alternative to Biden<\/h2>\n<p>July 3, 2024<\/p>\n<p>Former first lady Michelle Obama is the only hypothetical presidential candidate alternative that can beat presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, a post-debate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipsos.com\/en-us\/only-michelle-obama-bests-trump-alternative-biden-2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noskim noreferrer\">Reuters\/Ipsos poll found<\/a>. &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Obama reportedly has had no interest in running for office, but calls for Biden stepping out of the race are reaching a fever pitch after his debate performance last week. &#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Forty-two percent of registered voters say they have a favorable opinion of Trump, and 38% say the same about Biden. About three in five say they have unfavorable opinions of Trump (56%) or Biden (60%).<\/li>\n<li>Comparatively, more registered voters, 55%, say they have a favorable opinion of Michelle Obama. Kamala Harris\u2019 favorability generally falls in line with Trump and Biden, as 40% of registered voters say they have a favorable opinion of her.<\/li>\n<li>Other hypothetical Democratic candidates\u2014California Governor Gavin Newsom, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, and Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker\u2014have significantly lower favorability ratings. &#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The latest poll did not include a question on support for independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The June poll found that 10% of registered voters would back him if he appeared on the ballot. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsmax.com\/politics\/poll-reuters-ipsos\/2024\/07\/03\/id\/1171072\/\">https:\/\/www.newsmax.com\/politics\/poll-reuters-ipsos\/2024\/07\/03\/id\/1171072\/<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Only Michelle Obama bests Trump as an alternative to Biden in 2024<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Washington, DC, July 2, 2024\u2014<\/strong>Following the first 2024 presidential debate, President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump remain in dead heat for November\u2019s election. In hypothetical matchups with Democratic candidates other than Biden, former first lady Michelle Obama is the only hypothetical candidate to definitively defeat Trump in this poll. Michelle Obama also tops the charts in favorability among registered voters, with Trump and Biden trailing her by more than 10 percentage points each. When asked whether Trump or Biden should drop out of the race following the debate, nearly three in five agree for Biden and just under half say the same about Trump.\u00a0 &#8230;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>Most registered voters have unfavorable opinions of Biden or Trump. Again, only Michelle Obama receives majority favorability among registered voters. Although the White House is trying to say that Joe Biden simply had one bad night because of having a cold during the debate, notice also the following:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>July 3, 2024<\/p>\n<p><strong>The New York Times published an article Tuesday quoting sources within Biden\u2019s own camp who revealed that his mental lapses are worsening and that they had to factor in naps to his debate prep because he was struggling to operate.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The article <a title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/07\/02\/us\/politics\/biden-lapses.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">notes<\/a> that insiders say Biden has appeared \u201cconfused or listless, or would lose the thread of conversations\u201d over the past few months, and that he often has an expression of \u201cblank-stared confusion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It adds that \u201cin interviews, people in the room with him more recently said that the lapses seemed to be growing more frequent, more pronounced and more worrisome.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe uncomfortable occurrences were not predictable, but seemed more likely when he was in a large crowd or tired after a particularly bruising schedule,\u201d the article continues.<\/p>\n<p>The piece adds that during a Juneteenth event, where Biden appeared particularly out of it, \u201cOne person who sat close to the president said that he had a \u201cdazed and confused\u201d expression during much of the event.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/modernity.news\/2024\/07\/03\/biden-advisors-leak-damning-details-of-mental-decline-to-ny-times\/\">https:\/\/modernity.news\/2024\/07\/03\/biden-advisors-leak-damning-details-of-mental-decline-to-ny-times\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>No matter who emerges and wins, Isaiah had warnings for leaders which apply in the last days:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil (Isaiah 5:20)<\/p>\n<p>16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err, And those who are led by them are destroyed (Isaiah 9:16).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>We are seeing political leaders in many lands, including the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand erring by promoting sins that the Bible condemns.<\/p>\n<p>If we look at Donald Trump, Joe Biden, Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., as well as the other names the Democrats seem to be considering, they all seem to be immorally similar:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>None live their lives as a real Christian.<\/li>\n<li>They all support LGBTQ rights.<\/li>\n<li>They all support abortion to a degree.<\/li>\n<li>None has called for national repentance.<\/li>\n<li>None has sought first the Kingdom of God.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Now, I am not trying to say that there are no differences. Yes, I know they have differing economic and climate policies as well as different views on abortion and racial matters.<\/p>\n<p>But they all still are evil.<\/p>\n<p>As far as voting in the USA goes, notice something that international author Doug Casey wrote about it:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>March 29, 2019<\/p>\n<p>Democracy is vastly overrated. \u2026<\/p>\n<p>Most of the founders of America were more concerned with liberty than democracy. \u2026<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"style3\">V<\/span><span class=\"style3\">oting encourages politicians. A vote against one candidate\u2014a major, and quite understandable, reason why many people vote\u2014is always interpreted as a vote for his opponent. And even though you may be voting for the lesser of two evils, the lesser of two evils is still evil. It amounts to giving the candidate a tacit mandate to impose his will on society<\/span><em><span class=\"style3\">. <\/span><\/em><span class=\"style3\"><a href=\"https:\/\/internationalman.com\/articles\/5-reasons-not-to-vote\/\">https:\/\/internationalman.com\/articles\/5-reasons-not-to-vote\/<\/a><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>As far as evil goes, evil is still evil.<\/p>\n<p>Many professing Christians believe that they need to vote even though that concept is not endorsed in the Bible. But the Bible teaches:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>2 You shall not follow a crowd to do evil (Exodus 23:2)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The \u201clesser evil\u201d is still not good.<\/p>\n<p>What should a Christian do?<\/p>\n<p>Jesus said to \u201cseek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness\u201d (Matthew 6:33) and to pray for God\u2019s kingdom to come (Matthew 6:10).<\/p>\n<p>As far as political leaders go, the Apostle Paul wrote:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>1 Therefore <strong>I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority<\/strong>, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For <strong>this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior<\/strong> (1 Timothy 2:1-3).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Notice that we are to pray for worldly leaders and those that have authority over us so that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life. Nothing like this is said for voting that many falsely claim is their \u201cChristian\u201d duty\u2013prayer for leaders is.<\/p>\n<p>No matter who you may think is better, the lesser of the evils is still evil.<\/p>\n<p>Supporting evil is not the solution for Christians.<\/p>\n<p>Irrespective of what may or may not happen with Joe Biden, neither voting for him nor Michelle Obama, nor anyone in the Democratic party, nor the Republican party, nor Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. for that matter, will stop the decline of the USA.<\/p>\n<p>Repentance is the only thing that could delay the disaster coming to the USA (cf. Daniel 4:27)&#8211;but that is not expected.<\/p>\n<p>Without national repentance, the end is coming very soon no matter which party wins the USA 2024 presidential election.<\/p>\n<p>Destruction is coming to the USA\u2013as well as its British-descended allies (UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand)\u2013and it will be worse than most people will believe.<\/p>\n<p><em>Some items of possibly related interest may include:<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/usa-gone-2028.htm\">Might the U.S.A.
