The market is still sending messages: gold hitting all time highs says that traders are worried, perhaps about geopolitical risk, inflation, high rates or all of the above. https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2024-08-17\/gold-all-time-highs-3000-next<\/a><\/p>\n

Gold topped $2,500 an ounce for the first time, bolstered by hopes the US Federal Reserve is edging closer to cutting interest rates. …<\/p>\n

The precious metal is up more than 20% this year amid mounting optimism on monetary easing and large purchases by\u00a0central banks<\/a>. It also has seen increased demand as a haven asset due to rising geopolitical risks, including tensions in the Middle East and Russia\u2019s war with Ukraine. …<\/p>\n

Gold investors are \u201ctypically more prone to think the Fed will be more aggressive on the monetary accommodation front,\u201d said Bart Melek, global head of commodity strategy at TD Securities. Prices could rise further to $2,700 in the coming quarters, as \u201cthe macro\/monetary and central bank ducks are aligning in a row,\u201d he said. …<\/p>\n

Spot gold gained 2.1% to $2,508.82 an ounce as of 4:06 p.m. in New York. https:\/\/fortune.com\/2024\/08\/16\/gold-prices-record-high-economic-outlook-recession-indicator-fed-rate-cuts\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As many of you are aware, I have the following statement on 293 of the print edition and page 317 of online version of free book from 2023, Lost Tribes and Prophecies: What will happen to Australia, the British Isles, Canada, Europe, New Zealand and the United States of America?<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Gold will set records in U.S. dollar terms. <\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Also, in my 2021 book, Biden-Harris: Prophecies and Destruction<\/a>, I had the following prediction on pp. 171-172:<\/p>\n

Since many are now questioning the role of the U.S.\u00a0dollar as the world\u2019s reserve currency, more are looking into other currencies as well as gold. Gold will set records in U.S. dollar terms.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

When gold goes up in US dollar terms, it also means that the US dollar is worth less.<\/p>\n

The price of gold will exceed US$2,700 per ounce. The price of gold will exceed US$3,000 per ounce.<\/p>\n

One day, the US dollar will be worth no more than the value of the cotton-paper it is printed on.<\/p>\n

That said, experience teaches us that gold can also go down in value, so investors should always be cautious. But unlike the USA dollar, biblically we know that gold will have value well after the Great Tribulation starts.<\/p>\n

Notice prophecies in Daniel 11:39-43, Zechariah 14:14, and Revelation 17:4 and 18:12,16:<\/p>\n

40 “At the time of the end…43 He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver (Daniel 11:40,43)<\/p>\n

14… And the wealth of all the surrounding nations
\nShall be gathered together:
\nGold, silver, and apparel in great abundance. (Zechariah 14:14)<\/p>\n

12 … merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones and pearls … 16 … ‘Alas, alas, that great city that was clothed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls! (Revelation 18:12, 16)<\/p>\n

4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls (Revelation 17:4)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There are no similar statements backing up the future value of paper items, like the US dollar or the British pound (scripture, indirectly, teaches their elimination, for details see Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel<\/a>). Daniel 11:24 shows that the European Beast leader mentioned in Daniel 11:40-43 will somehow also be accumulating wealth prior to this time, and that may involve gold accumulation (cf. Daniel 11:38). Perhaps to back up a European-supported currency, he also may end up with personal and\/or national gold reserves and\/or wealth from the Vatican. The Vatican has a vast amount of wealth and is prophesied to be improperly involved with the kings of the earth in the end times per Revelation 17.<\/p>\n

The BRICS+ nations are interested in using gold as a way to at least partially bypass the US dollar.<\/p>\n

The Bible warns about silver becoming \u201cdross\u201d (Isaiah 1:22; Ezekiel 22:18-22) and says to reverse it once it happens (Proverbs 25:4a; Isaiah 1:25). But the Anglo-American nations have not done that, their old silver coins are now dross (made\/filled with cheaper materials) and their massive debts have made dross out of their fiat currencies (currencies that are not tied to gold or some other hard asset).<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the \u201cU.S. is highly vulnerable to loss of confidence by foreign creditors.\u201d[i]<\/a> U.S. government debt is \u201cextremely vulnerable to foreign attack because of the high percentage of foreign ownership \u2014 almost 40% of the market.\u201d[ii]<\/a><\/p>\n

Interestingly, in the past, one foreign creditor, China, has raised concerns about the U.S. debt that are so serious, that its potential dumping of that debt has been called China\u2019s \u201cnuclear option\u201d[iii]<\/a> against the U.S.A.\u2014an option that involves no military intervention, but that could greatly harm the U.S.A.<\/p>\n

Many have complained about the U.S.A. \u201cweaponizing\u201d its dollar through sanctions, bank restrictions, and other means.[iv]<\/a> By doing so, the U.S.A. has inadvertently been \u00a0building up a coalition to push aside the dollar\u2014and this will happen when the timing is considered to be better. European leaders have been working for years to establish a new reserve currency for the world, partially with the intent to remove the U.S. dollar from its position as the world\u2019s primary reserve currency. The fact that Europe would develop its own currency, as well as for that purpose, was predicted by Church of God writers no later than 1971[v]<\/a> \u2013which is over two decades before the euro was officially agreed to.<\/p>\n

Those in Iran and some of the Arab lands, along with nations such as Brazil, China, and India have discussed plans for the removal of the dominance of the U.S.A. in global trade as well. The former (again current) President of Brazil, Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva, even claimed that eliminating the U.S. dollar\u2019s reserve currency status was one of the reasons that the BRICS alliance (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) was formed in the first place. [vi]<\/a> Others have noted that bypassing the USA dollar is still an object of BRICS\u2014and officially BRICS nations \u201care currently working on setting up a new global reserve currency,\u201d[vii]<\/a> which may have gold-backing.[viii]<\/a> The expansion of BRICS (which is in progress[ix]<\/a>) may ultimately even hurt Australian trade as well as \u201cseverely weaken primacy of the US Dollar as an international currency.\u201d[x]<\/a><\/p>\n

Yes, the BRICS aligned nations are interested in pushing aside the USA dollar and many are accumulating gold.<\/p>\n

However, let me add that gold will, for a time, be considered less than worthless as the prophet Ezekiel warned:<\/p>\n

19 They will throw their silver into the streets,
\nAnd their gold will be like refuse;
\nTheir silver and their gold will not be able to deliver them
\nIn the day of the wrath of the Lord;
\nThey will not satisfy their souls,
\nNor fill their stomachs,
\nBecause it became their stumbling block of iniquity. (Ezekiel 7:19)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Now the above does not happen until well AFTER the Great Tribulation begins and the USA (and its dollar) are gone. But it is also a warning to not put trust in gold.<\/p>\n

And we should have even less trust in the value of the USA dollar.<\/p>\n

The more gold is worth in USA dollars, the less the USA dollar is worth in terms of gold.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

One day the USA dollar will one day collapse and be worth no more than the scrap or novelty value of the cotton-paper it is printed on.<\/p>\n

Many nations are looking to push aside the USA dollar and accumulating gold is one step many are taking.<\/p>\n
