The Obama Administration is getting a bit more public about its support of the Muslim Brotherhood:<\/p>\n

The United States would be “satisfied” should free elections in Egypt produce a victory for the Muslim Brotherhood, AFP reported Friday according to the US’s special coordinator for transitions in the Middle East, William Taylor. <\/span>http:\/\/www.jpost.com\/MiddleEast\/Article.aspx?id=244427<\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This is the same Muslim Brotherhood that supports Hamas (see Muslim Brotherhood\u2019s Egypt\u2019s Goma Amin, Hamas, and the King of the South<\/a>) and certain other groups that are normally considered to be radical.\u00a0 The Muslim Brotherhood apparently wants as its top priority a pan-national Islamic caliphate ruled by an Imam. Many Muslims long for the rising up of a leader called the 12th Imam, often referred to as the Imam Mahdi.<\/p>\n

Notice what Wikipedia<\/em> reports about the size of the caliphate that the Muslim Brotherhood wants to accomplish:<\/p>\n

In the group\u2019s belief, the Quran and Sunnah constitute a perfect way of life and social and political organization that God has set out for man. Islamic governments must be based on this system and eventually unified in a Caliphate. The Muslim Brotherhood\u2019s goal, as stated by Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna was to reclaim Islam\u2019s manifest destiny, an empire, stretching from Spain to Indonesia.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

(It will not end up with Spain if I understand certain aspects of Bible prophecy correctly.)<\/p>\n

Notice a translation of what some, who are part of it, write that the Muslim Brotherhood wants:<\/p>\n

…the Islamic Ummah<\/em> [nation] can regain its power and be liberated and assume its rightful position which was intended by Allah, as the most exalted nation among men, as the leaders of humanity…<\/p>\n

He [Hassan al-Banna] felt the grave danger overshadowing the Muslims and the urgent need and obligation which Islam places on every Muslim, man and woman, to act in order to restore the Islamic Caliphate and to reestablish the Islamic State on strong foundations and to liberate the Muslims and defend them from any attack, and to spread the Da\u2019wa (Islamic missionary activity) of Islam in the world and to establish this great religion, which Allah wanted for his servants…<\/p>\n

Some think that Shahada<\/em> (Martyrdom) causes loss and damages the [Muslim Brotherhood] Society, since it has lost influential people in action and Jihad. Also, notice some of what the Living Church of God<\/a> has reported about this:<\/p>\n

Ultimately, the \u201cArab Spring\u201d will not produce widespread \u201cWestern-friendly\u201d democracy throughout the Mideast! Consider that, after 57 years in exile, the fundamentalist Muslim Brotherhood is now Egypt\u2019s \u201cbest organized political movement\u201d (The New York Times, June 19, 2011). Months after Egypt\u2019s supposed move toward democracy, Egyptian \u201cmobs\u201d are attacking pro-democracy \u201cliberal activists,\u201d while \u201chundreds of thousands of Islamists\u201d are working toward \u201ctransforming Egypt into an Islamic state\u201d (Wall Street Journal, August 2, 2011)! Although many do desire peace, a terrible conflict is brewing, and Muslim fundamentalism is spreading\u2026Scripture reveals that before Jesus Christ\u2019s return, there will be a final war between a \u201cking of the South\u201d (a leader of the Middle Eastern regions now primarily under the sway of Islam) and a false form of \u201cChristianity\u201d dominated by the \u201cking of the North\u201d and a blasphemous \u201cHoly Roman Empire.\u201d (Cieselka W. World events are lining up with the Living Church of God’s understanding of biblical prophecy.<\/p>\n
