Ontario town fined $10,000 for refusing to celebrate pride month<\/h2>\n

Emo, Ont. was also cited for not flying a pride flag, despite not having a flag pole<\/em><\/p>\n

An Ontario town has been fined $10,000 and its officials ordered to complete mandatory \u201chuman rights\u201d training after it refused to celebrate Pride Month.<\/p>\n

Emo is a township of about 1,300 people located in the far west of Ontario, along the border with Minnesota.<\/p>\n

In a\u00a0decision handed down last week<\/a>, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario ruled that Emo, its mayor and two of its councillors had violated the Ontario Human Rights Code by refusing to proclaim June as \u201cPride Month.\u201d<\/p>\n

The town was also cited for failing to fly \u201can LGBTQ2 rainbow flag,\u201d despite the fact that they don\u2019t have an official flag pole.<\/p>\n

The dispute began in 2020 when the township was approached by the group Borderland Pride with a written request to proclaim June as Pride Month.<\/p>\n

Attached to the letter was a draft proclamation including clauses such as \u201cpride is necessary to show community support and belonging for LGBTQ2 individuals\u201d and \u201cthe diversity of sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression represents a positive contribution to society.\u201d …<\/p>\n

The claim of discrimination ultimately hinged on a single line uttered by Emo Mayor Harold McQuaker. When the proclamation came up for consideration, McQuaker was heard to say in a recording of the meeting, \u201cThere\u2019s no flag being flown for the other side of the coin \u2026 there\u2019s no flags being flown for the straight people.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Human Rights Tribunal vice-chair Karen Dawson wrote in her decision, \u201cI find this remark was demeaning and disparaging of the LGBTQ2 community of which Borderland Pride is a member and therefore constituted discrimination under the Code.\u201d\u00a0 11\/27\/24 https:\/\/nationalpost.com\/opinion\/ontario-town-fined-10000-for-refusing-to-celebrate-pride-month<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This is terrible.<\/p>\n

The Bible, by the way, teaches that even condoning the LGBTQ+ view is an abomination deserving of death:<\/p>\n

\n

5<\/strong>\u00a0A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman\u2019s garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the Lord your God. (Deuteronomy 22:5)<\/p>\n

22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.\u00a0 (Leviticus 18:22)<\/p>\n

13 If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. (Leviticus 20:13)<\/p>\n

24<\/strong>\u00a0Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,<\/div>\n
25<\/strong>\u00a0who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.<\/div>\n
26<\/strong>\u00a0For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.<\/div>\n
27<\/strong>\u00a0Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.<\/div>\n
28<\/strong>\u00a0And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;<\/div>\n
29<\/strong>\u00a0being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers,<\/div>\n
30<\/strong>\u00a0backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,<\/div>\n
31<\/strong>\u00a0undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful;<\/div>\n
32<\/strong>\u00a0who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. (Romans 1:24-32)<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Notice also:<\/p>\n

20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The reality is that the promotion of the LGBTQ+ pride flag is evil.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the use of a rainbow flag by the LGBTQ+ is a mockery. And a Satanic one at that.<\/p>\n

A reader sent me a link to the following:<\/p>\n

There is something not only publicly offensive but positively demonic about the way the rainbow and the month of June … have been violently appropriated by one of the most socially and morally destructive forces in the world, the LGBTQ+ movement. …<\/p>\n

The rainbow, one of the most uplifting glimpses of beauty in the natural world (and also, like the wind of the Holy Spirit that \u201cblows where it will,\u201d one of the most elusive and surprising) was given as a divine sign and symbol of the promise following upon salvation from the flood-waters of destruction.\u00a0God would not destroy the earth again\u2026<\/p>\n

Inverting the Symbol<\/h3>\n

Austen Ruse\u00a0recently wrote<\/a>:<\/p>\n

The worst month of the year begins. June … has been taken over by perversion. The love that dares not speak its name screams all month long in our faces. You cannot get away. Rainbows everywhere. You are tempted to stay inside, lower the shades, like the three days of darkness, praying for the demons to pass by.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It is a very ancient understanding of the spirit of Antichrist that it mimics and mocks Christ. It takes what is His, and inverts it. A moral or doctrinal inversion of a Christian symbol perforce becomes a demonic symbol. …<\/p>\n

That the rainbow, sign of God\u2019s covenant with restored creation, was affixed to a flag representing grave depravity and even the misanthropic destruction of humanity (since \u201cGod created them male and female<\/em>\u201d), is already a clear sign of the spirit of Antichrist.\u00a0But we are given one more indication of this, hiding in plain sight.\u00a0The demonic symbol represents the rainbow with\u00a0six<\/em>\u00a0colors\u2014that is, according to ancient numerology, the number of\u00a0man<\/em>\u2014and not\u00a0seven<\/em>, the number of the divine, as in a natural rainbow. …<\/p>\n

The connection between LGBTQ+ and Satanism isn\u2019t even hiding itself any more: Target brought out a\u00a0\u201cSatan respects pronouns\u201d T-shirt<\/a>\u00a0that was quickly\u00a0scuttled off the floor<\/a> due to the volume of protests. 06\/12\/23 https:\/\/onepeterfive.com\/christian-rainbow\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The fact that the LGBTQ+ crowd uses a multicolored ‘rainbow’ flag does NOT make them religious–it is a biblical mockery.<\/p>\n

The LGBTQ community also calls it a “pride” flag.<\/p>\n

As far as “what comes after pride” this is the verse that the tract referred to, but from the NKJV:<\/p>\n

18 Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall. (Proverbs 16:18) <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Here are a few other scriptures using the term “pride”:<\/p>\n

13 The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride<\/span> and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate. (Proverbs 8:13)<\/p>\n

12 When pride<\/span> comes, then comes shame; But with the humble is wisdom. (Proverbs 11:12)<\/p>\n

24 A proud and haughty man–“Scoffer” is his name; He acts with arrogant pride<\/span>. (Proverbs 21:24)<\/p>\n

23 A man’s pride<\/span> will bring him low, (Proverbs 29:23)<\/p>\n

49 Look, this was the iniquity of your sister Sodom: She and her daughter had pride, fullness of food, and abundance of idleness; neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. 50 And they were haughty and committed abomination before Me; therefore I took them away as I saw fit. (Ezekiel 16:49-50)<\/p>\n

56<\/span> For your sister Sodom was not a byword in your mouth in the days of your pride, <\/span>57<\/span> before your wickedness was uncovered. (Ezekiel 16:56-57)
\n<\/span><\/div>\n

37 And those who walk in pride<\/span> He is able to put down. (Daniel 4:37)<\/p>\n

3 The pride<\/span> of your heart has deceived you, (Obadiah 1:3)<\/p>\n

20 … What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. <\/span>21<\/span> For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, <\/span>22<\/span> thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. <\/span>23<\/span> All these evil things come from within and defile a man. (Mark 7:20-23) <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The LGBTQ+ promoters should realize that these verses were in the Bible before they decided to adopt their promotion of the word “pride.”<\/p>\n

Daniel 4:37 (quoted above) reminds me of ‘pride parades.’<\/p>\n

Notice that Ezekiel 16 (quoted above) tied pride in with Sodom. Consider also the following:<\/p>\n

9 The look on their countenance witnesses against them, And they declare their sin as Sodom; They do not hide it. Woe to their soul!<\/strong> For they have brought evil upon themselves. (Isaiah 3:9)<\/span><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The LGBTQ+ crowd declare their sins. The Bible says that “they have brought evil upon themselves.” Their practices are an abomination–yet they want their sins celebrated.<\/p>\n

Now, if we look into Old Testament history, we see that God used rainbows as a sign\/symbol thousands of years ago.<\/p>\n

They (and others) should recall why God said He set rainbows in the sky in the Book of Genesis:<\/p>\n

13 I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. 14 It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud; 15 and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh. 16 The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.” 17 And God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is on the earth.” (Genesis 9:13-17)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

God said He made rainbows to show that He would not destroy the earth by a worldwide flood again. But that does not mean He was to permit all types of sin without any intervention nor that claiming a rainbow makes something acceptable.<\/p>\n

Many despise the moral teachings of the word of God–this will not end well:<\/p>\n

40 Beware therefore, lest what has been spoken in the prophets come upon you:<\/p>\n

41 ‘Behold, you despisers,
\nMarvel and perish!
\nFor I work a work in your days,
\nA work which you will by no means believe,
\nThough one were to declare it to you.'” (Acts 13:40-41)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Despite opposition, a short work will be accomplished (Romans 9:28, Matthew 24:14); see also Preparing for the ‘Short Work’ and The Famine of the Word<\/a>).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Ezekiel saw something like a rainbow, when he saw the throne of God:<\/p>\n

26 And above the firmament over their heads was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like a sapphire stone; on the likeness of the throne was a likeness with the appearance of a man high above it. 27 Also from the appearance of His waist and upward I saw, as it were, the color of amber with the appearance of fire all around within it; and from the appearance of His waist and downward I saw, as it were, the appearance of fire with brightness all around. 28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. (Ezekiel 1:26-28)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Rainbows are also directly mentioned twice in the New Testament:<\/p>\n

2 Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. 3 And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. (Revelation 4:2-3)<\/p>\n

1 I saw still another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on his head, his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire. (Revelation 10:1)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A real rainbow is pretty and glorious. That is not the case for Satan’s counterfeit known as the pride flag.<\/p>\n

Real rainbows represent a promise of God to humanity as well as pointing to the reality of some of His glory. Satan’s inversion of the symbol will lead to destruction for supporters of his agenda (cf. Romans 1:18-32).<\/p>\n

No government should ever fine any one or any thing for refusing to promote sin.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
