Did the novel coronavirus, renamed COVID-19, possibly come from the Wuhan Virology Laboratory?<\/p>\n

Back in January 2020, we in the CCOG put out a video stating that.<\/p>\n

But, the predominant media did not want people to believe that.<\/p>\n

Yet, that is where the evidence continues to point to. A new Congressional report now agrees:<\/p>\n

WASHINGTON \u2014 COVID-19 killed more than 1.2 million Americans after likely leaking from a Chinese lab that was in part funded by US taxpayers, a House panel has concluded \u2014 following President-elect Donald Trump\u2019s\u00a0proposal to make Beijing pay trillions in \u201creparations\u201d<\/a>\u00a0for allowing the virus to spread.<\/p>\n

\u201cFour years after the onset of the worst pandemic in 100 years, the weight of the evidence increasingly supports the lab leak hypothesis,\u201d the Republican-led House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic determined in a\u00a0520-page report<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The finding wasn\u2019t a surprise \u2014 after\u00a0the FBI<\/a>, the Energy Department\u2019s National Laboratories and former federal officials like\u00a0Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe<\/a>\u00a0reached the same conclusion.<\/p>\n

But the report adds weight to the theory with additional analysis from former senior government officials and reiterates the fact that risky gain-of-function experiments funded by federal grants were being conducted at the epicenter of the outbreak in Wuhan, China. …<\/p>\n

\u201cNext, in 2018, a year before the outbreak, EcoHealth [Alliance], in partnership with the [Wuhan Institute of Virology], in a grant application to [the Pentagon\u2019s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or DARPA] proposed to create a virus with SARS-CoV-2\u2019s defining features,\u201d the report says.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn their application to DARPA,\u00a0EcoHealth and its WIV partners<\/a>\u00a0stated their intent to create a SARS-like virus with a furin cleavage site, which is the exact same feature that made humans susceptible to COVID-19 infection.\u201d WIV stands for the Wuhan Institute of Virology.<\/p>\n

That application,\u00a0Project DEFUSE<\/a>, was submitted in May 2018 and never funded \u2014 but is considered a \u201cblueprint\u201d for engineering SARS-CoV-2 by some scientific experts, current and former federal officials and members of Congress. …<\/p>\n

The report argues that \u201cthe evidence supporting that COVID-19 came from an animal at the Huanan
\nSeafood Market in Wuhan is tenuous\u201d and that \u201ckey evidence that would be expected if the virus had emerged from the wildlife trade is still missing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIn previous outbreaks, such as SARS in 2002 and MERS in 2012, infected animals were found, the earliest cases occurred in people exposed to live animals, and ancestral variants of the virus found in animals were discovered, but none of this evidence has been discovered for COVID-19,\u201d the report says. …<\/p>\n

There are other reports that point to people working at Wuhan before the novel coronavirus was known who had a disease that sounded the same.<\/p>\n

The Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic (Select Subcommittee) is investigating the origins of COVID-19. Since April 2, 2020, Committee on Oversight and Accountability Republicans have investigated the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic, including the Chinese Communist Party\u2019s (CCP) role in obscuring the truth regarding the initial outbreak, and whether any U.S. taxpayer dollars funded the Wuhan Institute of Virology\u2019s (WIV) dangerous gain-of-function research.1 On February 27, 2023 we wrote to the Department requesting information pertinent to this investigation.2<\/p>\n

Pursuant to that letter, the Department recently produced classified documents to the Select Subcommittee that were previously released in an unclassified and highly redacted Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) production to U.S. Right to Know.3 These documents contain highly pertinent information that credibly suggests:<\/p>\n

1) COVID-19 originated from a lab-related accident in Wuhan, China;
\n2) The CCP acted to prevent, and in fact obstructed, a fulsome investigation into these
\nmatters; and
\n3) A seamless relationship between the WIV and the Chinese People\u2019s Liberation Army.<\/p>\n

The American people deserve to see the information that is hidden under these redactions.<\/p>\n

We write to you today to request that you immediately take steps to declassify this information such that the American people have a more complete picture of the government\u2019s evidence regarding the origin of the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n

To ensure that these documents are expeditiously reviewed for declassification, the highly redacted FOIA versions are enclosed. In addition to the rapid commencement of a declassification review, the Select Subcommittee requests a staff level briefing to occur before May 14, 2024.<\/p>\n

This briefing was previously requested on April 24, 2024 with the goal of it occurring prior to the Select Subcommittee\u2019s hearing with the President of EcoHealth Alliance, Inc.\u2014and known WIV collaborator\u2014Dr. Peter Daszak. However, the Department responded that it could not support a briefing on that timeline.<\/p>\n

Four years after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Chinese city of Wuhan, what do we know about the origin of the SARSCOV2 virus?<\/p>\n

We were presented at the outset with two competing theories: natural-origin spillover from animals to humans, and accidental lab leak. NPR said the lab-leak theory was \u201cdebunked<\/a>,\u201d Vanity Fair called it a \u201cright-wing<\/a>\u00a0coronavirus conspiracy,\u201d and Facebook\u00a0banned posts<\/a> suggesting the virus may have been manufactured in a lab. …<\/p>\n

The clique of elite scientists propagating the natural-spillover theory have always had several problems on their hands. Despite an exhaustive four-year search, no intermediate animal host has ever been found. …<\/p>\n

The Lab-Leak Theory<\/strong><\/p>\n

The most obvious piece of incriminating evidence for the lab-leak theory has always been the existence of a biolab in Wuhan just miles away from the initial outbreak. This wasn\u2019t just any old biolab\u2014the\u00a0Wuhan Institute of Virology<\/a>\u00a0(WIV) was an advanced research facility studying\u00a0coronaviruses\u00a0<\/em>that \u201ccollaborated<\/a>\u00a0on publications and secret projects with China\u2019s military.\u201d And this wasn\u2019t just any old coronavirus research\u2014the WIV was conducting the riskiest viral research in the world.<\/p>\n

Gain-of-function research<\/a>\u00a0of concern\u2014which can make viruses more transmissible to humans, ostensibly in order to create vaccines\u2014was so risky, and the chance of causing an accidental pandemic was so great, that the U.S. government\u00a0banned funding<\/a>\u00a0for this research in 2014. Nevertheless, U.S. agencies\u00a0continued funding<\/a>\u00a0this dangerous research at the WIV, even before the\u00a0moratorium was officially lifted<\/a>\u00a0in December 2017.<\/p>\n

This was a spectacularly irresponsible decision. U.S. authorities had visited the WIV and found it to have wildly\u00a0inadequate safety protocols<\/a>. …<\/p>\n

Under lab examination, SARSCOV2 was always a bit of a mystery, adorned with some peculiar characteristics. The virus appeared better designed to target humans than animals, \u201cfully optimized<\/a>\u00a0for interaction with the human ACE2 receptor\u201d and \u201cconsistent with a laboratory optimized coronavirus which entered the human population fully evolved.\u201d<\/p>\n

An even more consequential peculiarity was the presence of a Furin Cleavage Site (FCS), which has the unfortunate property of enhancing a viruses\u2019 transmissibility. The presence of an FCS was particularly puzzling because\u00a0none<\/em><\/a>\u00a0of the over 1,500 of known sarbecoviruses (the sub-genus of SARSCOV2) has ever been found in nature with a FCS. On the other hand, it\u2019s not uncommon for virologists to\u00a0insert an FCS<\/a>\u00a0while doing gain-of-function experiments in a lab.<\/p>\n

For a while, it looked like the presence of an FCS in SARSCOV2, located at the S1\/S2 boundary, would remain a vexing, unsolved mystery. Then we learned the\u00a0details of the $14 million DEFUSE proposal<\/a>. One year before the pandemic, Mr. Daszak and his collaborators requested funding from the Pentagon to conduct gain-of-function research at the WIV. Specifically, they proposed inserting a FCS into a coronavirus at the S1\/S2 boundary\u2014precisely the never-before-seen characteristics present in SARSCOV2 that aided the virus\u2019 rapid transmission.<\/p>\n

The Pentagon wisely declined to fund the DEFUSE proposal, but a growing pile of evidence suggests this research went ahead in some form anyway\u2014or was already being conducted\u2014and likely escaped from the Wuhan lab and started the COVID-19 pandemic. …<\/p>\n

The Conspiracy<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was the real conspiracy. Many of the elite scientists seeking to discredit the lab-leak theory knew all along it was the most credible explanation. Not only did they intentionally deceive the world, they slandered any scientist or journalist that challenged them. … the natural origin theory of COVID-19 represents the most implausible string of coincidences imaginable or the lie of the century. https:\/\/www.wnd.com\/2024\/05\/lie-century-origin-covid-19\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There simply has been no credible evidence that COVID-19 appeared naturally. No natural origin has been found, and the structure of COVID-19 points to human-engineering.<\/p>\n

As a scientist, I knew from the beginning that the lab origin of COVID-19 was always the most logical explanation (plus no significant proof was ever provided to prove COVID originated in the wild, etc.).<\/p>\n

I still believe that lab involvement and unclean animals were involved. The lab was working with unclean animals for a lot of its viral research.<\/p>\n

Although I do NOT believe that the Chinese intentionally released it, back on January 25, 2020, I pointed to a possible lab origin in a sermonette video that was taped and released a couple of days later:<\/p>\n

Biological Warfare and Prophecy<\/a><\/h3>\n

Is biological warfare possible? Was it prophesied? Scientists have long warned that pathogenic organisms like the coronavirus could be weaponized. Furthermore, back in 2017, there were concerns that the biological research facility being constructed in Wuhan, China was risky and that a coronavirus from it could be released. On January 25, 2020, China\u2019s President Xi Jinping publicly stated that the situation with the Wuhan-related strain of the coronavirus was grave. Did Church of God writers like the late evangelist Raymond McNair warn that engineered viruses (the \u201cDoomsday bug\u201d) were consistent with prophecies from Jesus? Did a warning from CCOG leader Bob Thiel warn about risks of genetically-modified (GMO) mosquitoes come to pass? Could human research and\/or the consumption of biblically-unclean animals such as bats and snakes be a factor in current outbreaks or coming future pestilences? What about famines? How devastating have pestilences been? How devastating are the prophesied ones going to be?
