A couple of days ago, I posted that US President-elect Donald Trump wants the US to own\/control Greenland. Related to that I also posted:<\/p>\n

Denmark is not pleased with Donald Trump’s proposal, and Greenland is not pleased with Donald Trump’s proposal.<\/p>\n

There will be many unintended consequences because of various of Donald Trump’s statements and actions.<\/p>\n

Donald Trump is turning Latin America, Europe, and many others against him and the United States.(Thiel B. After threatening Panama, Donald Trump floats buying Greenland. He also declared that two genders would be the official US policy<\/span><\/a>. COGwriter, December 23, 2024)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So, Euronews<\/em> is reporting that the government of Denmark announced military steps:<\/p>\n

Denmark moves to boost Greenland\u2019s defence capabilities after US President-elect Donald Trump doubles down on controversial remarks of US dire to control the arctic nation.<\/p>\n

The Danish government announced a major plan to bolster Greenland\u2019s defence capacity just hours after US President-elect Donald Trump publicly repeated his desire to purchase the Arctic country, home to just 56,000 people.<\/p>\n

Without giving specifics, Danish Defence Minister Troels Lund Poulsen told Danish media outlet Jyllands-Posten that Copenhagen would invest a \u201cdouble digit” billion amount in Danish krone to upgrade the country\u2019s defences.<\/p>\n

The unspecified defence spending could amount to anywhere from \u20ac1.34 billion to \u20ac13.27 billion.<\/p>\n

Trump said on Sunday on his social media platform, Truth Social, that the US would seek ownership and control of Greenland for \u201cpurposes of national security and freedom throughout the world\u201d. …<\/p>\n

Greenland has its own extensive local government but is still affiliated with the Danish crown. https:\/\/www.euronews.com\/my-europe\/2024\/12\/25\/denmark-to-boost-greenlands-defence-after-trump-repeats-controversial-remarks-seeking-us-o<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Now, it is not that the US could not take over Greenland, anyway. But it has not been Donald Trump’s style to launch a military attack to do something like that.<\/p>\n

However, while the US has long used Greenland as a base to conduct surveillance on the Soviet Union and now Russia, it is possible that the Europeans may decide that Greenland could be a useful place to conduct surveillance on the US and Canada.<\/p>\n

It is also possible that Greenland could be used as a base to 1) interfere with US military satellite communications, 2) possibly neutralize some US military moves in Greenland, or even 3) a place to also launch an attack against the US and Canada.<\/p>\n

Sound preposterous?<\/p>\n

It is not.<\/p>\n

The Bible is clear that the power with the strongest military will one day be defeated by the coming European King of the North beast power (Daniel 11:39).<\/p>\n

Europe to Rise Up<\/strong><\/p>\n

Germans and others see the U.S.A. declining. Europe will go in a direction that U.S.A. leaders, including its \u2018foreign policy experts,\u2019 do not comprehend (Daniel 11:39; Isaiah 10:5-11).<\/p>\n

Notice something that was claimed by the German Press after Donald Trump\u2019s first presidential election:<\/p>\n

For 100 years, the United States was the leader of the free world. … It is time for Europe \u2026 to step into the void. \u2026<\/strong> Europe\u2019s turn.[i]<\/a><\/p>\n

Europe wants to rise up. And also militarily:<\/p>\n

Germany\u2019s respected Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper, meanwhile, even contemplated the \u201cunthinkable\u201d in an editorial: a German bomb. [ii]<\/a><\/p>\n

While European leaders have begun to publicly challenge reliance on the U.S.A., biblically, the time will once again come when Europe cannot be trusted militarily (Isaiah 10:5-11; Daniel 11:21-39; Lamentations 1:2).<\/p>\n

The U.S.A., itself, has repeatedly shown the Europeans that it does not trust them, yet scripture suggests it sometimes will trust them too much. According to the Bible, the time will come when the U.S.A. will find that continental Europe will be an enemy (cf. Isaiah 10:5-11) and not an ally (Ezekiel 23:4,9-10). The Bible warns:<\/p>\n

2<\/sup> All her friends have dealt treacherously with her; They have become her enemies. (Lamentations 1:2)<\/p>\n

Europe will cooperate with the U.S.A. as long as it feels the relationship is beneficial, and then (as prophecy foretells) one day turn totally against the U.S.A.<\/p>\n

The Bible is clear that there will be problems in Europe (Daniel 2:41-43), yet it also shows that Europe will undergo several reorganizations (Revelation chapters 16-18), and the two reorganizations in Revelation 17:12-13 specifically will not turn out well for the U.S.A. (cf. Daniel 11:39), the Arab world (cf. Daniel 11:40-43), nor ultimately Europe (cf. Jeremiah 50:41-46, 51:27-32; Daniel 11:44-45; Joel 2:2-6).<\/p>\n

GPS and Galileo<\/strong><\/p>\n

The U.S.A. has military issues that many do not realize.<\/p>\n

Back in 2009, despite denials from the U.S. Air Force,[iii]<\/a> I warned that the U.S.A. was likely to have problems with its Global Positioning System (GPS) and may need to rely on Europe\u2019s future Galileo system for some of its military needs.[iv]<\/a><\/p>\n

My warnings were based upon my biblical understandings (e.g. Isaiah 10:5-11; Daniel 11:39; Revelation 13:4; 2 Peter 3:8-12) as well as my previous military experience. I knew full well that military spokespersons did not always tell the full truth.<\/p>\n

In late 2009, Air Force General Kevin Chilton publicly confirmed my then published view that the U.S.A. did NOT have enough satellites for military purposes.[v]<\/a><\/p>\n

At the same time, Europe\u2019s Galileo satellite system was in process. In March 2002, the European Directorate-General\u00a0 Energy and Transport produced an \u2018information note\u2019 which stated:<\/p>\n

Galileo will underpin the common European defence policy that the Member States have decided to establish. There is no question here of coming into conflict with the United States which is and will remain our ally, but simply a question of putting an end to a situation of dependence<\/strong>. If the EU finds it necessary to undertake a security mission that the US does not consider to be in its interest, it will be impotent unless it has the satellite navigation technology that is now indispensable. Although designed primarily for civilian applications, Galileo will also give the EU a military capability. [vi]<\/a><\/p>\n

Some in Europe have long wanted to be independent of the U.S.A.<\/p>\n

It should also be understood that there were \u201cearly objections from the Americans who thought a rival system to GPS might be used to attack its armed forces.\u201d[vii]<\/a> Former U.S. Deputy Secretary of Defense, Paul Wolfowitz also wrote to a European leader raising objections to it back in 2001.[viii]<\/a><\/p>\n

Yet the later Obama-Biden Administration did not object, but instead encouraged the Europeans to develop it. [ix]<\/a><\/p>\n

Then in late July 2010, it was announced that the U.S.A. would rely on Europe\u2019s Galileo system for part of its own military defense.[x]<\/a> This is biblically very dangerous (cf. Lamentations 1:1-2; Daniel 11:39).<\/p>\n

Could Europeans have the ability to know where people are? Well, since most cellphones now have \u2018GPS,\u2019 those with them in the U.S.A. also face the very real possibility that Europeans will be able to track where they are as well as to control other aspects of cellphones. Yet, relatively few in the U.S.A. realize this. Europe has military intentions in space (bolding<\/strong> added):<\/p>\n

EU Commissioner Thierry Breton said \u2026 \u201cSpace is indeed a much coveted area in which the European Union must guarantee its essential interests. And our space technologies have become strategic capabilities for our citizens, for the resilience of our economies and of course for our armies<\/strong>.\u201d [xi]<\/a><\/p>\n

By the time all of Galileo and various systems (like Iris and subsystems) are fully implemented it may be too late for the U.S.A. to get enough of its own satellites up sufficiently independent of Europe to change this.<\/p>\n

Because of the Snowden leaks, the Obama-Biden Administration pledged to share U.S.A. data collection espionage techniques with the Europeans,[xii]<\/a> and it would not seem that a Biden-Harris Administration will stop all of that.<\/p>\n

The United Kingdom had been involved in the development of Galileo. Yet because of Brexit, the E.U. took a stance to block the U.K. from so much of it, that the U.K. is no longer part of that project.[xiii]<\/a><\/p>\n

Notice also:<\/p>\n

No single system is a perfect backup for GPS, said the report. Some systems such as Europe\u2019s Galileo are similar to GPS and could be a suitable substitute. \u2026GPS 3 satellites are built by Lockheed Martin under a 2008 contract from the U.S. Air Force. \u2026 Five GPS 3 satellites have been launched since 2018. The remaining five are projected to go to space from 2022 through 2024. \u2026 GPS 3F. The Space Force already has ordered the first four. The first GPS 3F is projected to launch in 2026.[xiv]<\/a><\/p>\n

Having the U.S.A. dependent upon Europe\u2019s satellite systems for any part of its military defense communications is dangerous. Satellite technology appears to give the Europeans a unique offensive and defensive capability, which one day look to be for use against the U.S.A. (cf. Daniel 11:39; Revelation 13:3-4).<\/p>\n

It is dangerous to have a potential enemy control portions of one\u2019s military communications systems. But the U.S.A. has allowed that to happen. …<\/p>\n

Because of not accepting and understanding biblical prophecies, many political and other leaders will be hoping for and believing in a false peace. The sudden destruction to come is likely to include a nuclear or other high tech attack, and could possibly happen in conjunction with a NATO\u00a0training or other exercise that would catch the U.S.A.\u00a0and its Anglo-Saxon-Celtic allies off guard (cf. Lamentations 1:1-2). Other nations are likely to also be involved.<\/p>\n

Nuclear Destruction?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Doesn\u2019t the following sound like nuclear-type destruction?<\/p>\n

23<\/sup> \u2018The whole land is brimstone, salt, and burning; it is not sown, nor does it bear, nor does any grass grow there, like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah<\/strong>, Admah, and Zeboiim, which the Lord overthrew in His anger and His wrath.\u2019 24<\/sup> All nations would say, \u2018Why has the Lord done so to this land? What does the heat of this great anger mean?\u2019 25<\/sup> Then people would say: \u2018Because they have forsaken the covenant of the Lord God of their fathers \u2026 (Deuteronomy 29:23-25)<\/p>\n

God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for their pride and sexual immorality (Ezekiel 16:49-50; 2 Peter 2:6).<\/p>\n

God\u2019s word points out that what will happen to the Anglo-lands will actually be worse than what happened to Sodom:<\/p>\n

6<\/sup> The punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people Is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom, Which was overthrown in a moment, With no hand to help her! (Lamentations 4:6)<\/p>\n

The time will come when the U.S.A. and NATO will be no more. NATO or other arrangements will give the Europeans cover for publicly preparing for a military event, while giving it the ability to publicly state that such preparations are only parts of an exercise. The Germans have historically used the element of surprise to gain military advantage\u2014remember WWII and blitzkrieg? Europe one day will turn on the U.S.A. (Lamentations 1:1-2, Daniel 11:39; Isaiah 10:5-12). Weapons of mass destruction, and not necessarily just nuclear, will be employed.<\/p>\n
