One of which looks to be a factor in increasing the price of gold, again, as gold hit all time highs today and yesterday:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>March 14, 2025<\/p>\n<p>The moment <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/will-the-price-of-gold-hit-3000-this-march\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">gold investors had long anticipated<\/a><\/span> and many experts had long predicted finally arrived on March 14, when the <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/what-is-the-price-of-gold-today\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">price of gold<\/a><\/span> broke a landmark price record of $3,000 per ounce. Officially at $3,001.08 as of Friday morning, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.americanhartfordgold.com\/gold-price-charts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">American Hartford Gold<\/a>, the record price is the latest in a series of highs the precious metal has seen over the past 14 months. And there are strong indications that the price will rise even higher. Around the same time, <strong>Donald Trump<\/strong> made similar comments. (Revelation 18:10-16)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"style4\">While the Bible is clear that gold will, for a time, not be wanted but tossed (Ezekiel 7:19), it is obvious that into the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:21-22), which starts in verse 39 of Daniel 11, gold will have value (see also <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/gold-in-prophecy-christian.htm\">The Plain Truth About Gold in Prophecy. How Should a Christian View Gold?<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p class=\"style4\">The old Worldwide Church of God published the following:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"style4\">Of course, since gold is regarded as a disaster hedge by many investors, prudence might dictate that perhaps a small fraction of your liquid assets be in gold: (Caulkins J. WHEN MONEY FAILS. Good News, October-November 1979) In Revelation 18, we are given a graphic description of Europe at its future economic peak. Remember this prophecy occurs after the United States, Canada and other Israelitish nations have been conquered and brought into subservience. \u2026 In verse 11, Europe&#8217;s coming economic wealth and scope is described as John sees it, shortly before the final crisis (to occur at Christ&#8217;s coming) takes place. \u201cAnd the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her, for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: The merchandise of gold and silver \u2026 (Catherwood CA. Good News, October-November 1979)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"style4\">Yes, gold will outlast the US dollar and the European Beast power will have it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style4\">In terms of world events, understand that Germany has been repatriating gold&#8211;and even did so ahead of schedule (watch <a id=\"video-title32\" title=\"Germany, Gold, and the US Dollar\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Fjr5g2b4-Gg\" aria-label=\"Germany, Gold, and the US Dollar by BibleNewsProphecy 9 months ago 10 minutes 505 views\">Germany, Gold, and the US Dollar<\/a>). Europeans have a lot of gold (see <a title=\"Permanent Link to The Plain Truth about European Gold\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/news\/doctrine\/the-plain-truth-about-european-gold-2\/\" rel=\"bookmark\">The Plain Truth about European Gold<\/a>) and want more.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style4\">The continental European gold reserves (excluding the UK and Russia) collectively hold approximately 12,924.42 tons of gold. &#8211;that is more than the official USA (8,133.5) and China (2,264 tons) holdings combined.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style4\">Gold will be an item of value in 2025 and at least a few years beyond.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style4\">Nations in Asia, Europe, and even Africa will look to increase gold reserves.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style4\">Gold will break records in US dollar terms.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>There is a growing mistrust of the USA and its dollar.<\/p>\n<p>Part of that is because of Donald Trump.<\/p>\n<p>Part of that is because of massive USA debt.<\/p>\n<p>Part of that is because of the USA&#8217;s weaponization of its dollar.<\/p>\n<p>But other parts go back much further&#8211;which have been setting the stage for the time to come when the USA dollar will be worthless, and gold will have value.<\/p>\n<p>Because the USA was starting to not have enough gold to back its dollar, way back in 1961, the <em>Plain Truth<\/em> reported:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Germany, Japan have the largest <em>surpluses<\/em> of GOLD and DOLLARS&#8230;Rich Uncle {Sam} has the greatest deficit in governmental history and a GREATER DEBT than all the REST OF THE WORLD COMBINED!&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Vast foreign aid programs drain the U.S. Treasury &#8230; American spending to supply services and to support our troops in foreign countries and military installations around the world amounts to&#8230;dollars flowing out of the frightened U.S. Treasury. All of these factors, combined with heavy taxes, gigantic public and private debt, and no gold backing for our own currency<strong> if foreign investors demanded gold for their dollars, adds up to the staggering revelation that the U.S., richest nation in the world, is bordering on bankruptcy!<\/strong> (Hill DJ. What the US Gold Crisis Means to You. Plain Truth. February 1961, p. 9).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>France did finally cash in dollars and this caused a crisis in the USA. The US answer was to go off the gold standard completely on August 11, 1971. About the same time it made a deal with Saudi Arabia to price oil in dollars. So, while this prevented &#8220;foreigners&#8221; from being able to redeem US dollars for something from the USA treasury, instead it meant that dollars could be used to by oil. As other (mostly smaller) oil producers followed Saudi Arabia&#8217;s lead, this has served to support the US dollar for several decades. However, Saudi Arabia and others are now looking at not only pricing\/selling in US dollars. One day in the future, the USA dollar will be worthless.<\/p>\n<p>Gold has increased in value much more than the official government inflation rates since the USA detached its dollar from any type of gold standard. The price of gold will fluctuate, but is prophesied to have value after the USA is gone (cf. Daniel 11:39-43; Revelation 18).<\/p>\n<p>Although the Bible opposes &#8220;dross&#8221; money (Proverbs 25:4; Isaiah 1:22-25; Ezekiel 22:18-22), modern \u2018experts\u2019 have a different view. Back in 1965, the USA decided to turn its silver coinage into dross as the value of its dollar had dropped too much compared to silver. The wrong views on economics will lead to economic problems and ultimately the total crash of the dollar of the USA.<\/p>\n<p>Once the US dollar does fully collapse, I maintain that somehow, Europe will have at least an implied gold backing of its currency (for details see <a title=\"Gold to be used to back European currency?\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/news\/prophecy\/gold-to-be-used-to-back-european-currency\/\" rel=\"bookmark\">Gold to be used to back European currency?<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Back in 1979, the old Worldwide Church of God also published the following in the old <em>Good News<\/em> magazine:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-53908 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Good-News-1979-Oct-Nov.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"152\" height=\"200\" \/><br \/>\n<em>Good News, Oct-Nov 1979<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Of course, since gold is regarded as a disaster hedge by many investors, prudence might dictate that perhaps a small fraction of your liquid assets be in gold: (Caulkins J.
