Also, China becomes very, very important.\u00a0 Brazil, India, even Iran, markets that the Americans try to keep us away from, we must embrace those particular markets,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>Muhammad added.<\/p>\n<p>He echoed South African President Cyril Ramaphosa\u2019s recent comments, agreeing that the country must accelerate efforts to build self-reliant systems, particularly in key sectors such as health and social development.<\/p>\n<p>The administration of US President Donald Trump announced in February that it was terminating 90% of US Agency for International Development (USAID) contracts. The administration cited a failure to advance America\u2019s national interests, and effectively halted $60 billion in humanitarian spending worldwide. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rt.com\/africa\/614846-us-aid-exit-spurs-brics-ties\/\">https:\/\/www.rt.com\/africa\/614846-us-aid-exit-spurs-brics-ties\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The BRICS alliance originally consisted of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa (hence BRICS). This alliance has been growing.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>BRICS is an intergovernmental organization now consisting of ten countries\u2014Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Iran and the United Arab Emirates. &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Some in the West consider BRICS institutions an alternative to institutions such as those led by nations of the <a title=\"G7\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/G7\">G7 bloc<\/a>, which are among the world&#8217;s leading economies.<sup id=\"cite_ref-BE_12-2\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/BRICS#cite_note-BE-12\"><span class=\"cite-bracket\">[<\/span>12<span class=\"cite-bracket\">]<\/span><\/a><\/sup> Others describe the grouping as an incoherent joining of countries around increasing <a title=\"Anti-Western sentiment\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Anti-Western_sentiment\">anti-Western<\/a> and <a title=\"Anti-Americanism\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Anti-Americanism\">anti-American<\/a> objectives.<sup id=\"cite_ref-14\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/BRICS#cite_note-14\"><span class=\"cite-bracket\">[<\/span>14<span class=\"cite-bracket\">]<\/span><\/a><\/sup> Together BRICS has implemented competing initiatives such as the <a title=\"New Development Bank\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/New_Development_Bank\">New Development Bank<\/a>, the <a title=\"BRICS Contingent Reserve Arrangement\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/BRICS_Contingent_Reserve_Arrangement\">BRICS Contingent Reserve Arrangement<\/a>, <a title=\"BRICS PAY\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/BRICS_PAY\">BRICS PAY<\/a>, the BRICS Joint Statistical Publication<sup id=\"cite_ref-15\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/BRICS#cite_note-15\"><span class=\"cite-bracket\">[<\/span>15<span class=\"cite-bracket\">]<\/span><\/a><\/sup> and the BRICS basket reserve currency. Wikipedia, accessed 03\/27\/25)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>More are considering to become part of this alliance.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<section class=\" er6t7fe6 css-1myfomw e1pqt1t0\" data-qa=\"ContentBody-ContentBodyContainer\">\n<p class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\">\u00a0Saudi Arabia did not join BRICS at the start of 2024 as had been planned, and it announced &#8230; that it was still considering the matter &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>organizers touted the expansion as part of a plan to build a competing <a title=\"Polarity (international relations)\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Polarity_(international_relations)\">multipolar<\/a> <a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"World order\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/World_order\">world order<\/a> that uses <a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"Global South\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Global_South\">Global South<\/a> countries to challenge and compete against the western-dominated world order.<sup id=\"cite_ref-71\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/BRICS#cite_note-71\"><span class=\"cite-bracket\">[<\/span>71<span class=\"cite-bracket\">]<\/span><\/a><\/sup> <i><a title=\"China Daily\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/China_Daily\">China Daily<\/a><\/i> used the expansion to claim that more developing countries were interested in joining BRICS.<sup id=\"cite_ref-72\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/BRICS#cite_note-72\"><span class=\"cite-bracket\">[<\/span>72<span class=\"cite-bracket\">]<\/span><\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n<p>On 24 October 2024, an additional 13 countries, namely Algeria, Belarus, Bolivia, Cuba, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand, Turkey, Uganda, Uzbekistan and Vietnam, were invited to participate as &#8220;partner countries&#8221;. &#8230; On 6 January 2025, Indonesia joined BRICS officially as a full member. (BRICS. Wikipedia, accessed 03\/27\/25)<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The BRICS nations see the USA debt risk and despise USA sanction policies. They clearly want to topple the dominance of the US and its dollar (as do the Europeans, which is part of why they came out with the Euro).<\/p>\n<p>Related to BRICS and the USA dollar, notice the following which is in my book <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/LostTribes.pdf\">Lost Tribes and Prophecies:\u00a0What will happen to Australia, the British Isles, Canada, Europe, New Zealand and the United States of America?<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Those in Iran and some of the Arab lands, along with nations such as Brazil, China, and India have discussed plans for the removal of the dominance of the U.S.A. in global trade as well. The former (again current) President of Brazil, Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva, even claimed that eliminating the U.S. dollar\u2019s reserve currency status was one of the reasons that the BRICS alliance (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) was formed in the first place. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/news\/prophecy\/brics-nations-russia-and-china-have-essentially-stopped-using-the-usa-dollar-for-trade\/#_edn1\" name=\"_ednref1\">[i]<\/a> Others have\u00a0 noted that bypassing the USA dollar is still an object of BRICS\u2014and officially BRICS nations \u201care currently working on setting up a new global reserve currency,\u201d<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/news\/prophecy\/brics-nations-russia-and-china-have-essentially-stopped-using-the-usa-dollar-for-trade\/#_edn2\" name=\"_ednref2\">[ii]<\/a> which may have gold-backing.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/news\/prophecy\/brics-nations-russia-and-china-have-essentially-stopped-using-the-usa-dollar-for-trade\/#_edn3\" name=\"_ednref3\">[iii]<\/a> The expansion of BRICS (which is in progress) may ultimately even hurt Australian trade as well as \u201cseverely weaken primacy of the US Dollar as an international currency.\u201d<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/news\/prophecy\/brics-nations-russia-and-china-have-essentially-stopped-using-the-usa-dollar-for-trade\/#_edn4\" name=\"_ednref4\">[iv]<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Bible clearly warns against cheapening the money supply and encourages having money hold its value (Proverbs 25:4 Isaiah 1:25, Ezekiel 22:18-22). ZeroHedge, December 3, 2024)<\/p>\n<p>Yes, the impact of the USA dollar losing its reserve status would be horrible&#8211;and even worse than Donald Trump asserted. And things like 100% tariffs are inflationary.<\/p>\n<p>The BRICS+ nations, which compose nearly half the population of the world, still want to bypass the US dollar.<\/p>\n<p>US President-elect Donald Trump has threatened 100 percent tariffs on BRICS nations if they replace the dollar in international trade.<\/p>\n<p>However, Brazil has indicated that it aims to boost the effort during its presidency of BRICS. President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva\u2019s government has said its objective is the \u201cdevelopment of means of payment\u201d to facilitate trade between member countries.<a href=\"#_edn1\" name=\"_ednref1\">[i]<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, some suspect that more countries in BRICS+ may destroy the \u2018petrodollar\u2019 system that supports the dollar.<a href=\"#_edn2\" name=\"_ednref2\">[ii]<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The USA dollar will ultimately crash and be worthless. Middle East Economy, October 10, 2024<\/sup><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>One day the US dollar will be toppled&#8211;but that will not fully happen in 2025. But let me add that the Bible teaches that a coming European power will accumulate gold too (cf. How Should a Christian View Gold?<\/a><\/span>).<\/p>\n<p>Based upon several biblical prophecies, I have long written that the Asians and Europeans will cooperate, for a time, and eliminate the USA and its Anglo-Saxon-Celtic descended allies. They will divide their lands among them per Daniel 11:39, and many of the survivors will be made slaves (for more details check out the article <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/usa-canada-uk-australia-new-zealand-divided.htm\">Will the Anglo-Saxon Nations be Divided and Have People Taken as Slaves?<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>It should be added that part of the purpose of the Euro was to bypass the USA dollar for international trade.
