Supreme Court backs ‘biological’ definition of woman<\/h2>\n

Judges at the UK Supreme Court have unanimously ruled that a woman is defined by biological sex under equalities law.<\/p>\n

It marks the culmination of a long-running legal battle which could have major implications for how sex-based rights apply across Scotland, England and Wales.<\/p>\n

The court sided with campaign group For Women Scotland, which brought a case against the Scottish government arguing that sex-based protections should only apply to people that are born female. …<\/p>\n

The Scottish government argued in court that transgender people with a gender recognition certificate (GRC) are entitled to the same sex-based protections as biological women.<\/p>\n

The Supreme Court was asked to decide on the proper interpretation of the 2010 Equality Act, which applies across Britain.<\/p>\n

Lord Hodge said the central question was how the words “woman” and “sex” are defined in the legislation.<\/p>\n

He told the court: “The unanimous decision of this court is that the terms woman and sex in the Equality Act 2010 refer to a biological woman and biological sex. https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/articles\/cvg7pqzk47zo<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Yes, even having a piece of paper from some government entity does not change one’s sex.<\/p>\n

It is nice that the UK Supreme Court recognized reality.<\/p>\n

Sadly, that is not the case for at least the latest member of the US Supreme Court Ketanji Brown Jackson. When asked to define a woman, she asserted that she could not because she was not a biologist. That was a terrible answer, but she was afraid to public admit what she understood to be the biological realities.<\/p>\n

She and many others perhaps are apparently not educated enough to 1) accept the truth or 2) realize the origin of the word woman.<\/p>\n

The Old English words “womb” (womb, also known as a uterus) and “mann” (person or human) were combined to form “w\u012bfmann,” which later changed into the Modern English word “woman.”<\/span><\/p>\n

So, a woman is a person who naturally has a womb.<\/p>\n

Despite how obvious that is, notice the following absurdity from someone at CNN<\/em>:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not possible to know a person\u2019s gender identity at birth, and there is no consensus criteria for assigning sex at birth,\u201d CNN\u2019s Devan Cole wrote. https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/04\/01\/cnn-ridiculed-for-saying-no-consensus-for-assigning-sex-at-birth\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Actually, yes it is possible. And there has been a consensus for thousands of years by billions of people to assign sex at birth based on genitalia.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, with modern technology there is another way. Notice the following from LiveScience.com<\/em>:<\/p>\n

How sex is determined<\/h2>\n

Humans have an additional pair of sex chromosomes for a total of 46 chromosomes. The sex chromosomes are referred to as X and Y, and their combination determines a person’s sex. Typically, human females have two X chromosomes while males possess an XY pairing. This XY sex-determination system is found in most mammals as well as some reptiles and plants.<\/p>\n

Whether a person has XX or XY chromosomes is determined when a sperm fertilizes an egg. Unlike the body’s other cells, the cells in the egg and sperm \u2014 called gametes or sex cells \u2014 possess only one chromosome. Gametes are produced by meiosis<\/a> cell division, which results in the divided cells having half the number of chromosomes as the parent, or progenitor, cells. In the case of humans, this means that parent cells have two chromosomes and gametes have one.<\/p>\n

All of the gametes in the mother’s eggs possess X chromosomes. The father’s sperm contains about half X and half Y chromosomes. The sperm are the variable factor in determining the sex of the baby. If the sperm carries an X chromosome, it will combine with the egg’s X chromosome to form a female zygote. Those claiming to be ‘transgendered’ are confused and in scientific error as the overwhelming majority of them are not ‘transgendered’ biologically, but confused mentally and spiritually.<\/p>\n

The LGBTQ crowd pushes not only transgenderism, but the idea that gender is fluid. The idea that you can be one gender on one day, then another gender another day.<\/p>\n

Yet, men and women are different. While one of the differences is genitalia, there are more differences than that. But one’s chromosomes never change.<\/p>\n

And Ketanji Brown Jackson is not the only leader in the US that has trouble with gender truths.<\/p>\n

DOJ files lawsuit against Maine claiming the state violated Title IX by “by failing to protect women in women’s sports”<\/h2>\n

April 16, 2025<\/p>\n

Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Wednesday that the Justice Department is filing a civil lawsuit against Maine’s Department of Education for “discriminating against women by failing to protect women in women’s sports” in what she alleged is a violation of Title IX.<\/p>\n

“The Department of Justice will not sit by when women are discriminated against in sports,” Bondi said. “This is about sports, this is also about these young womens’ personal safety.”<\/p>\n

The move marks an escalation between the Trump administration and Maine over the issue. President Trump signed an executive order<\/a><\/span> in February to ban transgender girls and women from competing on sports teams that match their gender identity, mandating that Title IX, the federal law banning sex discrimination in schools, be interpreted as prohibiting the participation of transgender girls and women in female sports. President Trump said states not in compliance would jeopardize any federal funding they receive.<\/p>\n

Then, in a tense moment between Mr. Trump and Maine Gov. Janet Mills, a Democrat, later in February, the president threatened that her state wouldn’t get federal funding if it didn’t comply with the executive order barring transgender athletes from competing on women’s sports teams. Mills replied, “See you in court.”<\/p>\n

Education Secretary Linda McMahon, who appeared alongside Bondi on Wednesday, said “I hope Gov. Mills will recognize that her political feud with the president will deprive the students in her state of much more than the right to fair sporting events.” https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/maine-title-ix-transgender-athletes-trump-executive-order\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There is no such thing as transgender girls. There is such a thing as boys who pretend to be girls, but they still are not girls, nor do they grow up to be women.<\/p>\n

Olympics and Biology<\/a><\/h3>\n

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) had a report published in the \u2018British Medical Journal\u2019 that claimed, \u201d No athlete should be precluded from competing or excluded from the competition on the exclusive ground of an unverified, alleged or perceived unfair competitive advantage due to their sex variations, physical appearance and\/or transgender status.\u201d Does that IOC position make biological sense? Do biological males have significant advantages in many sports? Why do we not hear of many females who want to compete against males? What are some of the biological advantages that males have compared to females when it comes to sports? Have Olympians objected to the inclusion of those asserting that they are transgendered? Does the Bible have comments that are relevant on these matters? Steve Dupuie and Dr. Thiel go over some of these issues.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The transgender movement is destructive to society and that includes female sports.<\/p>\n

Back on June 1, 2022, a video titled What is a Woman<\/em> was released. Here is some information about it:<\/p>\n

Matt Walsh\u2019s provocative documentary, What Is a Woman<\/em>?<\/a>, aired online at The Daily Wire<\/em> on June 1, in what the political commentator and podcast host said was \u201can all-out assault on gender ideology.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s an ideology that uses the language of \u201cboys and girls\u201d and \u201cmen and women,\u201d but can\u2019t define what any of those are.<\/p>\n

Walsh used thoughtful questions and humor \u2013 there are some laugh-out-loud moments \u2013 to point out the fallacies behind \u201cgender theory.\u201d<\/p>\n

But even the humor has a disturbing edge, when you realize how pervasive this post-modern belief system is, how far away from the truth, and how many are in its grip.<\/p>\n

As one of my sons said, \u201cIt was funny until you realized how sad it was.\u201d<\/p>\n

What Is a Woman?<\/em> is intense, with moments of deep pathos, as when it showed the devastating damage to individuals and families \u2013 the direct result of gender theories that are completely disconnected from reality and truth.<\/p>\n

Ideas have consequences.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been researching and writing about transgender issues for a long time, and even though I was familiar with many of the stories told and the truths articulated, I found the film gut-wrenching at times and deeply thought provoking.<\/p>\n

I\u2019d written about some of these people, but it\u2019s different watching them tell their stories onscreen. The documentary is not for the faint of heart.<\/p>\n

One devastating testimony came from a Canadian father<\/a> who \u201cmisgendered\u201d his 13-year-old daughter. He was imprisoned for the offense. A Canadian court mandated male hormones for the young girl, over his objections.<\/p>\n

Another poignant story was told by a woman who had hormones and surgeries to \u201ctransition into\u201d a man. Scott Newgent\u2019s<\/a> body, health, finances and family have been devastated by surgeries and synthetic hormones.<\/p>\n

Here are some other the highlights (and lowlights) that stood out to me.<\/p>\n
