12th December 2011<\/p>\n

There were killer tornadoes ripping through cities, flooding in the north east and mid west, plus high heat, drought and wildfires in Texas. Not to mention earthquakes, hurricanes and tropical storms.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

There was so much extreme weather it was as though America lurched from one natural disaster to another throughout 2011.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now all that weather has been charted on one fascinating map drawn up by the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC).<\/span><\/p>\n

Many parts of the USA and Mexico are suffering from drought (see also TW Reports on Oklahoma Drought<\/a>) as are parts of Africa<\/a> and other lands. Droughts and floods contribute to food shortages, natural disasters like wild fires, higher food prices, and sometimes famines.<\/p>\n

My 2009 book, 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect<\/a> mentioned the following was about to happen:<\/p>\n

The report from the NRDC basically confirms another biblically-based prediction in my 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect <\/a>book.\u00a0 This means that world events have so far aligned with at least 19 or 20 predictions in 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect.<\/a>\u00a0 More world events will as well.<\/p>\n

Perhaps the record weather problems can serve as another wake-up call. As my book indicated, weather-related troubles with their related food issues, of course, are biblically expected:<\/p>\n

7…And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. (Matthew 24:7-8).<\/p>\n

Much is going on that we in the Living Church of God<\/a> have expected would happen.\u00a0 For example, LCG’s<\/a>\u00a0 Dr. Roderick C. Meredith years ago wrote a booklet related to coming weather problems titled Who Controls the Weather?<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

Now there is good news as ultimately, God\u2019s kingdom will come and those issues will be gone:<\/p>\n

16 They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; 17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. (Revelation 7:16-17)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And while that is true, a terrible hour of trial is coming first (Revelation 3:10), and the USA itself (as well as Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand also) will experience significant starvation in its land (cf. Ezekiel 5:15-17).\u00a0 And prior to that, we should expect to see higher food prices (cf. Revelation 6:5-6).<\/p>\n
