This verse marks a new development. It happens after<\/em> God uses Jeroboam to save Israel. …<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

How does this verse apply to Donald Trump? Bible prophecy shows that, however it happens, Mr. Trump will<\/em> return to office.<\/p>\n

\u2018Warred\u2019 to \u2018Recover\u2019<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Amos 7 contains a prophecy about end-time Israel\u2014most prominently, the superpower America today. It is clearly about the very end<\/em> of the nation. It shows that at that time, Jeroboam is not only in power, but he is wielding kingly authority.<\/p>\n

This prophecy describes a confrontation Jeroboam has with a representative of God. I will explain more about this in a moment. But it\u2019s important to note that Amos 7 looks like one flowing event: There is no hint of a gap or pause in Jeroboam\u2019s reign before this confrontation. Is it possible that this prophecy doesn\u2019t mention an interruption in his rule because in God\u2019s view, there is no gap? I believe that by maintaining the flow of Jeroboam\u2019s rule in this prophecy, God may well be showing that the 2020 election was stolen. Perhaps He looks on Mr. Trump as still<\/em> being president of the United States! The view that the election was stolen has far more weight if that\u2019s the way God Himself sees it.<\/p>\n

But 2 Kings 14:28 gives us insight into what is happening during the pause<\/span> in Trump\u2019s rule, between his first and second term. …<\/p>\n

President Trump could also lead some states to secede from the union. That would lead to some kind of warfare.<\/p>\n

Verse 28 of 2 Kings 14 strongly indicates that Mr. Trump recovers<\/em> his presidency by some kind of warring\u2014<\/em>not voting.<\/p>\n

It seems certain to me that this will happen before<\/em> the next presidential election in 2024\u2014unless there would be some kind of war and voting combined. But 2 Kings 14:28 does not even hint<\/em> of an election.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You will find this prophecy in 2 Kings 14 and Amos 7. …<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll conclude with one last statement from Gerald Flurry: \u201cPresident Trump could also lead some states to secede from the union. That would lead to some kind of warfare.\u201d<\/p>\n

Some might think this is far-fetched or implausible. But is it really?<\/p>\n

Just imagine you are part of America\u2019s armed forces right now. Who would you prefer to serve, and who do you think is more interested in your<\/em> safety and in protecting and preserving your<\/em> America\u2014Joe Biden and the radical left, or Donald Trump? https:\/\/www.thetrumpet.com\/24545-how-afghanistan-could-help-donald-trump-return-to-the-presidency<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So, it appears that some in PCG were hoping for a type of military intervention to reinstate Donald Trump as presidency. That did not happen. But that idea was essentially what the front cover of PCG’s magazine (shown at the beginning of this post) was supposed to be supporting.<\/p>\n

Stephen Flurry’s 11\/12\/24 article also had the following:<\/p>\n

Yet even as Joe Biden was taking the oath of office on Jan. 20, 2021, my father, wrote: \u201cOne thing is certain: God is going to bring Mr. Trump back.\u201d<\/p>\n

How could he know that?<\/p>\n

A prophecy in Amos 7 foretells of a clash between God\u2019s prophet and a false priest who works for an end-time antitype of King Jeroboam ii<\/span>. My father has identified Mr. Trump as this Jeroboam figure, yet no such clash between God\u2019s prophet and a false priest has yet occurred. Therefore, Donald Trump has to come back so this prophecy can be fulfilled. …<\/p>\n

The fact that my father was able to forecast Donald Trump\u2019s return years ahead of time shows the power of Bible prophecy.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

No, Gerald Flurry did not KNOW that Donald Trump would be back. He guessed–others made the same guess back then. Amos 7 is NOT related to Donald Trump.<\/p>\n

PCG<\/a> continues to push its view that Donald Trump is a prophesied Jeroboam as its September 2023 dated edition of its magazine has the following from its leader Gerald Flurry:<\/p>\n

The book of Kings is part of the former prophets. This book was written by a prophet, and most of the prophecy contained within it is for this end time.<\/p>\n

2 Kings 14:26-27 read, \u201cFor the Lord saw the affliction of Israel, that it was very bitter: for there was not any shut up, nor any left, nor any helper for Israel. And the Lord said not that he would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven: but he saved them by the hand of Jeroboam the son of Joash.\u201d …<\/p>\n

God is going to save Israel temporarily through a modern-day Jeroboam. Donald Trump is coming back<\/span>. Of course, he has some serious sins and problems; it isn\u2019t because of his righteousness<\/em> that God is using him. But Mr. Trump is<\/em> going to receive the opportunity to restore some stability to America, for a short time.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow the rest of the acts of Jeroboam, and all that he did, and his might, how he warred, and how he recovered Damascus, and Hamath \u2026\u201d (verse 28). Mr. Trump will have to war his way back<\/span>. Watch for him to do just that!<\/p>\n

But the national revival that he oversees will be brief. Anciently, after Jeroboam\u2019s reign, Assyria did conquer Israel. The same is about to happen again unless our peoples repent. …<\/p>\n

Ezekiel 3:15 says, \u201cThen I came to them of the captivity<\/em> \u2026 and remained there astonished among them seven days<\/span>.\u201d Ezekiel\u2014The End-Time Prophet<\/em> explains these seven days and the day-for-a-year prophetic principle (see Ezekiel 4:6). These \u201cseven days\u201d are the first seven years of the Philadelphia Church of God when we focused on distributing Malachi\u2019s Message<\/em> to the spiritual captives of the Laodicean Church.<\/p>\n

Then something changed: \u201cAnd it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel<\/span>: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me\u201d (Ezekiel 3:16-17). Before going further, let me point out that not only does Ezekiel 3:15 not refer to PCG, PCG has proven to be wrong about the Laodiceans–that will be shown later in this post.<\/p>\n

It should be pointed out that Gerald Flurry did not teach a “pause” between Donald Trump’s presidential terms before.<\/p>\n

Right before the election in 2020, Gerald Flurry was NOT teaching that Donald Trump would one day again be President of the United States–he was teaching that Donald Trump had to remain in office now. Here is direct proof as Gerald Flurry wrote the following:<\/p>\n

Donald Trump Is Going to Win This Election<\/h2>\n

November 9. 2020<\/p>\n

This past Friday night, Joe Biden held a big parade and made a victory speech. Saturday, the American news media decided to declare him the winner of the election and the president-elect of the United States.<\/p>\n

It does appear<\/em> strongly that this man will be America\u2019s next president. But I absolutely do not believe that at all<\/span>. Regardless of how things look right now, I am confident that Donald Trump will remain president. \u2026<\/p>\n

Unfulfilled Prophecies<\/h4>\n

The Trumpet<\/em> has been explaining biblical prophecies that apply to Donald Trump and to America\u2014specific end-time prophecies that must be<\/em> and will be<\/em> fulfilled.<\/p>\n

We have shown how President Trump is here to stop<\/em> the destructive spirit that is working to destroy America. \u2026<\/p>\n

But looking at this modern-day<\/em> Jeroboam, you have to say God gave Israel a \u201csavior\u201d\u2014at least to the extent that He wouldn\u2019t let these enemies bring down the nation. He has been blocking this movement to \u201cblot out the name of Israel [which includes America] from under heaven.\u201d<\/p>\n

And is his job finished? No, it isn\u2019t. So I don\u2019t believe at all<\/em> that he is going to disappear from the scene!<\/p>\n

The Trumpet<\/em> has also pointed to a prophecy in Amos 7 that tells us a lot about this end-time Jeroboam. None of that prophecy has yet been fulfilled\u2014but we can be sure that it will be, and President Trump must be in power<\/em> for this to take place. God is going to fulfill every prophecy of His Bible! \u2026<\/p>\n

Donald Trump certainly has his problems, and God sees those\u2014but He chose him as a savior<\/span>\u2014temporarily\u2014for this nation! https:\/\/www.thetrumpet.com\/23137-donald-trump-is-going-to-win-this-election<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

While God will fulfill every prophecy of His Bible<\/em><\/strong>, Gerald Flurry has a history of misunderstanding and misinterpreting biblical prophecies. THIS ELECTION meant the one in November 2020. Gerald Flurry wrote that Joe Biden would NOT be President of the USA and he was “confident that Donald Trump will remain president.”<\/p>\n

The word of God states:<\/p>\n

\n

21 And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken?’ \u2014 22 when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him. (Deuteronomy 18:21-22)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

PCG’s Gerald Flurry has often spoken presumptuously and is not a true prophet.<\/p>\n

Notice also something from PCG’s<\/a> Joel Hilliker:<\/p>\n

Mr. Flurry\u2019s prophecy is out there.<\/p>\n

And now only God can back him up.<\/p>\n

Watching the news, Mr. Flurry\u2019s statement that Donald Trump will remain America\u2019s president seems impossible. Because even if facts emerge showing incontrovertible election fraud, American media are in lockstep with radical Democrats to block the truth from ever reaching the average American.<\/p>\n

This is an up-against-the-sea, trapped-by-the-mountains, army-at-our-backs moment. Nobody can change this except God.<\/p>\n

Mr. Flurry continues the work of Herbert W. Armstrong, whom God used as an end-time type of Elijah (Malachi 4:5-6<\/a><\/a>). The original Elijah faced a large group of false prophets who held a lot of power and collusion with the political authorities over the nation. He faced off directly against them, building an altar, laying a sacrifice on it, then pouring on it large amounts of water. Then he prayed only a short prayer. Yet he was absolutely confident God would answer!<\/p>\n

What happened? Fire from heaven devoured that sacrifice. God backed up His servant. Imagine what it would have looked like if He didn\u2019t. But He did.<\/p>\n

We don\u2019t know how God will intervene. Like many of our readers, we have looked at the Constitution and the political situation and the Bible, and we have thought perhaps God would intervene this way, or that way, or maybe this other way. We don\u2019t know how, but we trust that some way God will intervene so His prophecies will be fulfilled. His ways are higher than our ways. We do not know how God\u2019s prophecies will stand, but we know they will stand!<\/p>\n

Many people are watching us closely. If God does not intervene, a lot of people would feel justified in accusing Mr. Flurry of being a false prophet. https:\/\/watchjerusalem.co.il\/1141-why-this-inauguration-day-is-especially-historic<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

According to the Bible, Gerald Flurry is a false prophet.<\/p>\n

Notice the following warning from the Bible:<\/p>\n

17 “And the Lord said to me: ‘What they have spoken is good. 18 I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. 19 And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require it of him. 20 But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.’ 21 And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken?’ \u2014 22 when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him. (Deuteronomy 18:17-22)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

While the Bible says people should listen to God’s true prophets, that certainly does not include Gerald Flurry. Gerald Flurry has again been proven false. He did not just make some inadvertent error (like a typo), he presumptuously and repeatedly insisted that Donald Trump would remain in office now. That did NOT happen. Other PCG writers posted to expect the US Supreme Court to change the results–which did not happen (see PCG: Will This Texas Lawsuit Overturn the Presidential Election?<\/a>) as well as to expect a miracle for Donald Trump to REMAIN in office (see PCG says expect a miracle: Joe Biden will not be president of the USA<\/a>).<\/p>\n

PCG posted:<\/p>\n

December 17, 2020<\/p>\n

Trumpet<\/em> editor in chief Gerald Flurry\u2019s cover story for the January 2021 Trumpet<\/em> issue is titled \u201cWhy Donald Trump Will Remain America\u2019s President<\/a>.\u201d It explains that President Trump will remain in office because of Bible prophecies in 2 Kings 14 and Amos 7. Now that the Electoral College has voted for Joe Biden, some earthshaking frauds are going to have to be exposed for these prophecies to be fulfilled. https:\/\/www.thetrumpet.com\/23279-prominent-election-attorney-stock-up-on-guns-and-ammunition\/print<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Gerald Flurry was clearly wrong about “prophecies.” Donald Trump did not remain in office.<\/p>\n

The New Testament teaches:<\/p>\n

21 Test all things; hold fast what is good. (1 Thessalonians 5:21)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Gerald Flurry’s insistence that Donald Trump would remain in office shows that he failed the test. His identification of Donald Trump as a modern Jeroboam has always been wrong.<\/p>\n

Furthermore years ago, Gerald Flurry originally taught that Joe Tkach, Sr. was the man of sin, but after he died, changed that to be Joe Tkach, Jr. And while neither were\/are the man of sin (see Who is the Man of Sin of 2 Thessalonians 2?<\/a><\/span>), this was another false position of Gerald Flurry that those in PCG<\/a> have tended to overlook.<\/p>\n

As far as Donald Trump goes, in CCOG’s<\/a> Letter to the Brethren: January 21, 2021<\/a> we have the following:<\/p>\n

While it is not that it is impossible for Donald Trump to again by the President of the United States, that is not something we as Christians need to focus on. Neither Joe Biden nor Donald Trump are what America needs. The USA needs national repentance.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

But the CCOG’s<\/a> position was NOT based on Amos 7–just political reality and possibilities.<\/p>\n

As far as Amos 7 goes, PCG’s<\/a> Gerald Flurry is also about to be proven wrong on something else he wrote:<\/p>\n

A Time of Extreme Urgency<\/h4>\n

Amos \u201cwarned the people that the supreme moment of their success was but the prelude to their doom\u201d (Soncino<\/em> commentary). This is what we are looking at with Donald Trump assuming the American presidency. Some people believe there was good news in this election. The Republican side was ecstatic. Right after the election, Rush Limbaugh said, \u201cWe just got our country back!\u201d But they didn\u2019t! The \u201cgood news\u201d is a mirage. It is a false hope.<\/p>\n

This is actually a prelude to America\u2019s doom. A man is on the scene whose house God is going to take out by the sword! Conditions in America may<\/em> improve for a short time. It may even help the work of God. But its ultimate end is destruction. Our people are going to face the wrath of God<\/span> until they repent!<\/p>\n

Amos 7:7-17 show that our time is very limited. What is going to happen in the next four years or perhaps even less<\/span>?<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is one of the strongest, most urgent warnings in the Bible<\/span>!<\/p>\n

\u201cThen answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet\u2019s son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit\u201d (verse 14). Amos had no formal seminary or college training. God simply gave him a job. Even without \u201ccredentials,\u201d God used this man!<\/p>\n

\u201cNow therefore hear thou the word of the Lord: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not thy word against the house of Isaac. Therefore thus saith the Lord;<\/em> Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land\u201d (verses 16-17). Amos had a very different view from Amaziah: He knew this was a message from God!<\/p>\n

\u201cBehold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord\u201d (Amos 8:11). How will this famine of the word come about? God\u2019s Church will be forced to leave. No one will be here to deliver the message anymore. When this faithful remnant of God\u2019s people is taken to a place of safety, God\u2019s message will cease, except what we do from there. The nations of Israel have had over 80 years to heed this message, but soon they will not be able to even find it.<\/p>\n

Verse 14 talks about people who are going to \u201cfall, and never rise up again.\u201d This is talking about 50 percent of God\u2019s own Laodicean or lukewarm church who will lose their eternal lives!<\/strong> What a tragedy\u2014the greatest tragedy in this end time! …<\/p>\n

If there are protesters who can stand up and speak out so boldly against President Trump, shouldn\u2019t the people of God speak out boldly? We have to warn this nation! Verse 2 concludes, \u201cand the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.\u201d The Anchor Bible<\/em> says the subject here is a cosmic holocaust\u2014a nuclear holocaust<\/span>! God is about to<\/span> send nuclear fire<\/span>! So according to Gerald Flurry’s interpretation of Amos 7, 50% of Laodiceans were going to lose their eternal lives by April of 2021, which was four years after Gerald Flurry\u2019s article was officially published (it actually was published a month or so earlier). Gerald Flurry was absolutely and clearly wrong about that. And while the USA may well experience a nuclear fire, it will not happen before 2027. Gerald Flurry is NOT God\u2019s prophet.<\/p>\n

The Apostle Peter wrote:<\/p>\n

19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: (2 Peter 1:19. KJV)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yes, a more sure word of prophecy is in the Continuing<\/em> Church of God<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As far as predictions\/warnings about Donald Trump, here is a list that I posted BEFORE HE TOOK OFFICE IN 2017 that were at least partially fulfilled:<\/p>\n

    For a 21st and 22nd item (as well as to show there were at least 20 items related to Donald Trump as number 14 and 20 are not directly related), it should be noted that I correctly wrote years ago that 1) The Great Tribulation would NOT begin in the first term of a Donald Trump Administration and 2) Armageddon would not start under the first term of a Donald Trump Administration (watch:\u00a0Armageddon Will it come on Trump\u2019s watch<\/a>). There is also another warning to mention which happened while he was in the 45th President of the United States, and that is that there would be negative consequences for the US dollar because of Donald Trump\u2019s sanctions policies (watch from 2018: US Sanctions and Tariffs leading to New World Order?<\/a>; watch from 2024:\u00a0SWIFT end to the US dollar?<\/a>).<\/p>\n

    PCG’s<\/a> Gerald Flurry was wrong about Donald Trump. I was not. I denounced his view that Donald Trump was Jeroboam on this page back on March 3, 2017 (see PCG: Donald Trump is a modern Jeroboam and will be destroyed; Gerald Flurry also claims to be a type of the prophet Amos and that J. Tkach is a modern Amaziah<\/a>).<\/p>\n

    PCG’s<\/a> Gerald Flurry was also proven wrong about Amos 7. I have claimed that for years and was shown to be right by May 1, 2021.<\/p>\n

    While Christians should heed true prophets and not despise prophecies (1 Thessalonians 5:20), PCG’s<\/a> Gerald Flurry has again been proven to have spoken presumptuously.<\/p>\n

    Insisting that Donald Trump would be in office in 2021, then being certain that Donald Trump would get in office before the November 5, 2024 election, and also asserting that half of the Laodiceans would be dead by the end of April 2021, proves to anyone interested in the TRUTH that Gerald Flurry is a false prophet. I told people prior to the November 5, 2024 election that I thought that Donald Trump would win. So, Gerald Flurry and I were right about that, but I was not wrong on the other Donald Trump matters, plus over 20 warnings\/predictions I made about him and his presidency have been at least partially confirmed by world events.<\/p>\n

    He and PCG remain wrong in their view of Amos 7 and many other matters (see Teachings Unique to the Philadelphia Church of God<\/a>).<\/p>\n

    Those who have enough of “the love of the truth” (2 Thessalonians 2:10) should clearly be able to see that Gerald Flurry is NOT God’s prophet, but a false one.<\/p>\n

    People associated with PCG should believe the Bible about false prophets as Gerald Flurry has clearly made false predictions.<\/p>\n

    Gerald Flurry has been proven false about his predictions about Donald Trump before as well as Amos 7.<\/p>\n

    Regarding the second Donald Trump presidency, notice predictions I made before he took office the second time which already have been at least partially confirmed –with my written prediction shown in italics<\/em>:<\/p>\n

Pushing tariffs and other policies that foreign nations do not like is contributing to other nations looking to bypass the USA dollar, as well as trade more with each other and less with the USA. This will further push various globalist\u2019s moves forward without the USA. (p.210)\u00a0<\/em>Confirmation:\u00a0<\/strong>Because of tariff threats from Donald Trump, on 1\/21\/25, EU President Ursula von der Leyen stated that Europe would seek out others to trade with (https:\/\/www.politico.eu\/article\/eu-donald-trump-america-we-have-other-options-ursula-von-der-leyen\/<\/a>). On 2\/27\/25, Ursula von der Leyen went to India to push for closer trade ties for reasons including Donald Trump\u2019s tariff pushing (https:\/\/www.dw.com\/en\/von-der-leyen-arrives-in-india-to-strengthen-partnership\/a-71768504<\/a>). On 4\/16\/25 she declared that, \u201cEveryone is asking for more trade with Europe\u201d\u00a0https:\/\/www.euronews.com\/my-europe\/2025\/04\/16\/the-west-as-we-knew-it-no-longer-exists-von-der-leyen-says-amid-trump-tensions<\/a>.<\/li>\n
    2. Gold will set records in U.S. dollar terms. \u2026 \u2026\u00a0gold will set further records in U.S. dollar terms in the relatively near future. (pp. 205, 206)\u00a0<\/em>Confirmation:\u00a0<\/strong>Gold hit a record price on 1\/31\/25 (https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/markets\/commodities\/gold-hits-record-high-trump-tariff-worries-mount-2025-01-31\/<\/a>) and did it again on 02\/10\/25 as well as in March and April. The record price of gold reflects a record minimum value in gold for the USA dollar.<\/li>\n
    3. Expect more protests against Donald Trump. (p. 15) There are issues with what Donald Trump says when he speaks. I expect protests. (p. 44). Donald Trump has been a polarizing figure and has offended many including minorities, migrants, and Muslims. Expect civil unrest and rioting. The Bible prophesies \u201cThere shall be terror within\u201d (Deuteronomy 32:25).<\/em>(p. 89).\u00a0Confirmation:\u00a0<\/strong>Numerous protests as well as some violence have begun 03\/17\/25 (https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2025\/03\/17\/nx-s1-5328626\/elon-musk-protests-tesla-takedown<\/a>) and 03\/16\/25 (https:\/\/endoftheamericandream.com\/why-is-the-media-so-quiet-about-the-anti-trump-violence-that-is-erupting-all-over-the-nation\/<\/a>)<\/li>\n
    4. One of the unintended consequence of his actions is, that after crises (cf. Revelation 6:7-8), more Europeans will decide that they need their own even stronger leader\u2014which will happen per Revelation 13:10 and 17:13.<\/em>(pp. 58-59)\u00a0<\/em>Partial confirmation:\u00a0<\/strong>This already started to happen at a European political conference on 2\/08\/25 (https:\/\/www.euronews.com\/my-europe\/2025\/02\/08\/your-time-is-over-far-right-leaders-take-on-the-eus-mainstream-parties<\/a>). And at least one German politician, Friedrich Merz, has been called \u2018The F\u00fchrer \u2018 on 03\/23\/25 (https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/geopolitical\/fuhrer-germany-friedrich-merz-war-spending-frenzy<\/a>) and on 4\/10\/25\u00a0 \u201cThe man Europe has been waiting for\u201d and he stated \u201cGermany is getting a strong and capable government\u201d (https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/news\/friedrich-merz-man-europe-waiting-161655776.html<\/a>). Furthermore, after the 5\/18\/25 elections in the three EU nations, Jean-Michel De Waele, a political scientist at the ULB University in Brussels, told Euronews\u00a0that because of Donald Trump, more European voters are looking for strong and decisive leader https:\/\/www.euronews.com\/my-europe\/2025\/05\/20\/eu-elections-super-sunday-shows-centre-left-parties-remain-in-freefall<\/a>.<\/li>\n
    5. Donald Trump has often encouraged increased military spending by the Europeans. \u2026 Donald Trump is helping enable the rise of the King of the North\/Beast power who will be in league with the final Antichrist. (p. 87)\u00a0<\/em>Confirmation:\u00a0<\/strong>This is confirmed. Consider that Kaja Kallas, Vice President of the European Commission stated on 1\/22\/25 that Europe needs to spend more as Donald Trump called for (https:\/\/www.euronews.com\/my-europe\/2025\/01\/22\/eu-must-spend-more-than-1-of-gdp-on-defence-to-prepare-for-the-worst-kallas-says<\/a>). On 3\/04\/25, EU President von der Leyen proposed spending \u20ac800 on the military (https:\/\/www.euronews.com\/my-europe\/2025\/03\/04\/von-der-leyen-pitches-800bn-defence-package-ahead-of-eu-leaders-summit<\/a>). About the same time, Germany\u2019s Friedrich Merz proposed spending \u20ac1 trillion (https:\/\/europeanconservative.com\/articles\/news\/cdu-spd-constitutional-amendment-defence-infrastructure-spending-bypassing-new-bundestag\/<\/a>). \u201cEurope has become convinced that its American ally will no longer guarantee its security, and has decided to rearm massively<\/strong>\u201d 03\/26\/25 (https:\/\/www.euronews.com\/my-europe\/2025\/03\/26\/readiness-2030-how-is-europe-planning-to-rearm-and-can-it-afford-it<\/a>). The European Commission announced on 4\/30\/25 that 16 European nations had been granted permission to violate earlier budgetary guidelines in order to spend more on their militaries (https:\/\/www.euronews.com\/2025\/05\/01\/sixteen-eu-countries-to-trigger-clause-to-increase-defence-spending<\/a>).<\/li>\n
    6. Donald Trump\u2019s rise has also spurred the Europeans to further unify among themselves. \u2026\u00a0Donald Trump has been pointed to by various European leaders as \u2018proof\u2019 that Europe needs more unification and distance from the USA. (p. 88)<\/em>Partial confirmation:<\/strong>\u00a0More of this has since happened (https:\/\/www.euronews.com\/my-europe\/2025\/01\/22\/eu-must-spend-more-than-1-of-gdp-on-defence-to-prepare-for-the-worst-kallas-says<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-gb\/money\/other\/eu-enlargement-debate-at-davos-focuses-on-europe-s-global-role-and-growth\/ar-AA1xBhgq?ocid=finance-verthp-feeds<\/a>) and a EU foreign ministers meeting on 1\/27\/25 called for a unified approach to deal with US President\u00a0Donald Trump<\/a>\u00a0and what analysts refer to as his \u201cdivide and rule policy\u201d (https:\/\/www.dw.com\/en\/eu-sanctions-russia-trump-2025\/a-71427544<\/a>).\u00a0Europeans have called for a \u201cNew World Order Based on European Values\u201d 03\/24\/25 (https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/geopolitical\/new-world-order-european-values-unholy-union-globalism-and-anti-free-speech-measures<\/a>). And \u201cthe old world order appears to be over \u2013 and the new world order has yet to take shape\u201d 03\/26\/25 (https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/articles\/c2er9j83x0zo<\/a>). On 4\/16\/25, EU President von der Leyen basically confirmed European unity and distance from the US and apparently because of Donald Trump stated, \u201cThe West as we knew it no longer exists,\u201d (https:\/\/www.euronews.com\/my-europe\/2025\/04\/16\/the-west-as-we-knew-it-no-longer-exists-von-der-leyen-says-amid-trump-tensions<\/a>).<\/li>\n
    7. Donald Trump \u2026 Many have rightly pointed out that he often acts as a bully. (p. 47).<\/em>Confirmation:\u00a0<\/strong>This has happened within weeks of Donald Trump taking office (e.g.\u00a0https:\/\/www.the-independent.com\/news\/world\/europe\/trump-zelensky-us-deal-ukraine-russia-war-b2702046.html<\/a>) and\u00a0https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/world-nation\/story\/2025-02-10\/trump-is-not-an-isolationist-hes-a-bully-and-that-hurts-us-influence-in-the-world<\/a>).<\/li>\n
    8. It is believed that Donald Trump will likely use some type of \u201cmaximum pressure\u201d strategy again against Iran during his next Administration. (p. 67)<\/em>Confirmation:\u00a0<\/strong>This is now his Administration\u2019s position and Iran is not happy with it (https:\/\/www.dw.com\/en\/iran-says-will-not-bow-to-us-maximum-pressure-strategy\/a-71745081<\/a>).<\/li>\n

The Bible teaches about a great power who will be destroyed by its friends, who become enemies (Lamentations 1:1-2)\u2014some statements by Donald Trump are pushing \u201cfriends\u201d (NATO allies) into being enemies. (pp. 48-49)\u00a0Partial Confirmation:\u00a0<\/strong>It has been reported that Donald Trump is turning USA friends into enemies, \u201cfrenemies\u201d\u00a0(https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/articles\/c93ll927v18o<\/a>).\u00a0On 4\/16\/25, EU President von der Leyen would not confirm that the US was a friend (https:\/\/www.euronews.com\/my-europe\/2025\/04\/16\/the-west-as-we-knew-it-no-longer-exists-von-der-leyen-says-amid-trump-tensions<\/a>). Statements from Trump-Vance Administration leaders have insulted Europe 03\/25\/25 (https:\/\/www.euronews.com\/2025\/03\/25\/pathetic-european-free-loading-us-officials-slam-europe-in-leaked-chat<\/a>) \u201d \u201cHorrific to see in black and white. But hardly surprising,\u201d is how a top European diplomat reacted to what comes across as deep, heartfelt disdain for European allies\u201d 03\/25\/25 (https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/articles\/c204vl27n2qo<\/a>) and \u201cnearly three quarters of French people now think that the United States is not an ally of France. A \u2026 very large majority in Denmark, \u2026 historically pro-American \u2026 have unfavourable views of the United States as well\u201d 03\/26\/25 (https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/articles\/c2er9j83x0zo<\/a>)<\/li>\n
    10. Jesus warned about a coming time of pestilences as part of the beginning of sorrows (Matthew 24:4-8)\u2014they are consistent with the ride of the 4th<\/sup>horseman of the Apocalypse (Revelation 6:7-8)\u2014that ride may well start in the second term of a Donald Trump Administration. Actions and\/or inactions by Donald Trump will likely put the USA at increased risk of problems from pestilences. (p. 90)<\/em>\u00a0Potential confirmation:<\/strong>\u00a0Donald Trump announced he is pulling the USA out of the World Health Organization (https:\/\/fortune.com\/well\/2025\/01\/21\/trump-who-us-remove-world-health-organization\/<\/a>).<\/li>\n
    11. His policies are pushing nations away from the USA and helping set the stage for the final times of the Gentiles (cf. Ezekiel 7:24, 39:23; Luke 21:24). These leaders were not pleased and will take actions. Ursula von der Leyen said \u201cEurope will keep seeking co-operation \u2014 not only with our long-time, like-minded friends, but with any country we share interests with\u201d\u00a0https:\/\/www.politico.eu\/article\/eu-donald-trump-america-we-have-other-options-ursula-von-der-leyen\/<\/a>. She also on 4\/16\/25 confirmed that many nations are contacting the EU, because of US tariff and other actions\u00a0https:\/\/www.euronews.com\/my-europe\/2025\/04\/16\/the-west-as-we-knew-it-no-longer-exists-von-der-leyen-says-amid-trump-tensions<\/a>.<\/li>\n
    12. His statements are getting more in Europe to consider that they need to reorganize and support some type of a strong man leader. The Bible shows that will happen in Revelation 17:12-13. (p. 91)<\/em>Speculative confirmation:\u00a0<\/strong>I cannot imagine that at the WEF and within the EU they are not discussing something like a stronger European leader and a reorganization of Europe. For example the chief executive of a European bank at the WEF conference stated, \u00a0\u201cI heard the EU talking about the willingness to make changes,\u201d and \u201cThe truth of the matter is every time they do something they create more bureaucracy, more complexity. They need to have a huge reset\u201d (https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/business\/2025\/jan\/24\/davos-donald-trump-tariffs-eu-us<\/a>). Germans have noticed that what they call the \u201cfar right\u201d is gaining because of Donald Trump and that right wing leaders look more useful now (https:\/\/www.german-foreign-policy.com\/en\/news\/detail\/9836<\/a>\u00a001\/21\/25). Furthermore, EU President Von der Leyen said this week, \u201cTo sustain our growth in the next quarter of the century, Europe must shift gears,\u201d (https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/business\/2025\/jan\/24\/davos-donald-trump-tariffs-eu-us<\/a>) that sounds like a plea to reorganize.<\/li>\n
    13. Official USA debt will rise in Donald Trump\u2019s second term in office<\/em>. Donald Trump supported a bill to increase debt 03\/15\/25\u00a0https:\/\/www.barrons.com\/articles\/ai-stocks-nvidia-amazon-microsoft-coreweave-ipo-ddee09ff<\/a><\/li>\n
    14. By focusing too much on threats from China and almost always considering the Europeans as some type of allies, a Donald Trump Administration is currently not expected to reverse the Asian \u2018pivot\u2019 strategy. <\/em>Donald Trump\u2019s \u2018Golden Dome\u2019 project is an example of this 05\/21\/25 https:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/news\/prophecy\/donald-trump-announces-golden-dome-china-objects-but-wwiii-will-still-come\/<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/blockquote>\n

      There will be many unintended consequences of the Trump-Vance Administration. Donald Trump was not sent by God to save America. PCG is not “God\u2019s one true Church.”<\/p>\n

      Yet, many foolishly think it is wise to not believe God has any prophets in the true Church of God today.<\/p>\n
