He recently produced a video in which he described Israel\u2019s victory in its 12-day war against Iran as \u201cThe Last Prophecy before Moshiach! (Messiah)<\/a>\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m super excited because what we\u2019re experiencing these days\u2014the incredible, miraculous attack the Israeli army is perpetrating against Iran, and the incredible success they\u2019re having\u2014it\u2019s all God\u2019s miracles,\u201d Rabbi Weisberg opened. \u201cThis is the last box that had to be checked, the last thing that had to happen before Mashiach comes: this attack on Iran.\u201d …<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The rabbi cites the Rambam (Maimonides), who states in the Mishne Torah (Laws of Mashiach) that \u201cyou can\u2019t figure out messianic prophecies until they actually occur. But now that they occurred, everything fits into place.<\/p>\n

Rabbi Weisberg referred to the prophecy in Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 about the wars of Gog.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt says clearly that Gog from the land of Magog is the leader of the Western world, the final manifestation of the Roman Empire, and he\u2019ll form an alliance with Persia to attack the newly established Jewish state. According to that prophecy, America joins Persia in attacking Israel.\u201d<\/p>\n

He then refers to a prophecy in the Talmud, in Tractate Taanit (31a), which states that \u201cPersia will fall by the Romans\u201d. Rabbi Weisberg explains that the Roman Empire is currently manifested in modern Western society, led by the United States.\u00a0 …<\/p>\n

Rabbi Weisberg referred to another prophecy described in Numbers 24:24, as interpreted by Rashi, which says ships controlled by the Kittim, i.e. the Roman Empire, i.e., America\u2014will oppress Ashur (Assyria). Rabbi Weisberg noted that this is manifested today by the US sending aircraft carriers to the region.\u00a0 …<\/p>\n

Rabbi Weisbrger concluded.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything is aligned,\u201d he said. \u201cTrump\u2019s dual role, Netanyahu\u2019s awakening\u2014the final act before Mashiach. Nothing else has to happen. The time to prepare is now: do mitzvot, practice charity, and show kindness. If you\u2019re a non-Jew listening, you have your part: charity, goodness, support Israel, and God. There are many issues with the above.<\/p>\n

One is that Jesus does not come until after the tribulation (Matthew 24:29-30) and He specified many prophecies that needed to be fulfilled first that still remain. So, no Israel’s ’12-day war’ against Iran was not only not the last one prior, it was not even in the list that Jesus gave (see also When Will the Great Tribulation Begin? 2025, 2026, or 2027?<\/a> and\/or\u00a0The Great Tribulation cannot begin before 2029!<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Is Donald Trump Cyrus the Great?<\/a><\/h3>\n

Cyrus the Great of Biblical fame was a Gentile king of Persia, modern-day Iran, that was used by God to allow the Jews that were captured by Nebuchadnezzar to go rebuild God\u2019s temple in Jerusalem. According to the Bible, Donald Trump is not a modern day Cyrus\u2013though with various coins and comments from others, he may be thinking that he is.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the prophecy in Numbers 24:24 has not happened. While the United States looks to be involved, it will be against a European power, not Iran–for more detail see: Who is the King of the North?<\/a><\/p>\n

But could the current battle have been part of Ezekiel 38 Gog and Magog war, which involves Iran?<\/p>\n

Rabbi Moshe Chaim Luzzatto<\/a>, also known by the Hebrew acronym Ramchal, was a prominent 18th-century Italian Jewish rabbi, kabbalist, and philosopher. The Ramchal wrote in his commentary on that verse:<\/p>\n
