Tenth Commandment: Sinning against yourself and society\u00a0<\/a><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

<\/a>What is the tenth commandment? Did it change in the 4th-5th century? Could covetousness be the root of sin, Lucifer’s fall, and problems in society? Does covetousness hurt the one who covets? What is covetousness? Does it include greed? Is coveting a sin? What about lust? Is money the root of all evil? Is covetousness one of Satan’s snares? Are the Ten Commandments done away? Were they “nailed to the cross”? What did Jesus teach about coveting? What did the Apostles Peter, Paul, and James teach about it? Was the tenth commandment in force prior to the giving of the Decalogue on Mount Sinai? Did Jesus teach against coveting? Was the command against coveting repeated after Jesus’ death and resurrection? Did early Christians strive to keep the Ten Commandments? What about the Psalms, love, and the commandments?
