Notice the following posted at <em>ZeroHedge<\/em>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h2 class=\"ArticleFull_title__FDrpw\">Europe Faces $1 Trillion Rearmament Bill As Washington Weighs Troop Cuts<\/h2>\n<p>September 4, 2025<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The IISS warns Europe faces gaps in air defense, long-range missiles, and intelligence that could cost up to $1 trillion to address.<\/li>\n<li>A U.S. defense review may cut American troop presence in Europe by up to 30%, shifting focus to Asia-Pacific.<\/li>\n<li>European leaders are pledging billions in new defense spending &#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The 106-page report, by the London-based International Institute for Strategic Studies\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.iiss.org\/\"><strong>(IISS)<\/strong><\/a>, points to gaps across the board: in production, intelligence, and military hardware such as long-range missiles or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rferl.org\/a\/nato-air-missile-defense-europe-russia-ukraine\/33377040.html\"><strong>air and missile defense.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cChief among the reasons for this greater urgency are Russia\u2019s military threat and uncertainty over the United States\u2019 commitment to defending European allies,\u201d it says. &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>European leaders have made\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rferl.org\/a\/eu-army-defense-ukraine-nato\/33350822.html\"><strong>plans<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0this year to respond to these challenges. In March, a European Union summit pledged to spend billions on defense amid what EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen called \u201ca watershed moment for Europe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>EU-backed loans of up to 150 billion euros (160 billion dollars) have been made available to member states to beef up their forces, and Eurozone debt rules have been relaxed when applied to military spending. &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>European countries do have highly effective air-launched cruise missiles, such as the Anglo-French Storm Shadow\/Scalp missiles, or Germany\u2019s Taurus system. At least 22 predictions\/warnings I made about the first Donald Trump Administration were totally or at least partially fulfilled during his first term in office. \u2026 (p. 6)<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3style6\">The Bible teaches about a great power who will be destroyed by its friends, who become enemies (Lamentations 1:1-2)\u2014some statements by Donald Trump are pushing \u201cfriends\u201d (NATO allies) into being enemies. \u2026 (pp. 48-49)<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, at a conference in 2025, Herr Guttenberg referred to \u201cbully Trump\u201d and said Europe needed to be achieve an independent military defense so that it no longer needs to dependent on the USA (<sup>Winkler T. Geeint gegen den \u201cBully Trump.\u201d MeinBezirk, January 9, 2025<\/sup>).\u00a0 An unintended consequence of Donald Trump\u2019s presidency may be the rise of Barron Guttenberg. (p. 56)<\/p>\n<p>Now, another reality is that there are many in Europe that wanted Donald Trump to win the 2024 election as they believe that will help motivate Europe to arm itself and become more independent of the USA (p. 58)<\/p>\n<p>Many in the USA do not seem to realize that once Europeans are spending more for their militaries, they will also expect to have more independence from the USA as to how military might will be used. (p. 63)<\/p>\n<p>While PESCO is not yet capable of eliminating the USA, in 2024 it reportedly was helping lay the groundwork which is \u201cleading to greater European strategic autonomy independent of the United States.\u201d (p. 115)<\/p>\n<p>Chapter 11 of the Book of Daniel discusses various leaders, including those known as the King of the North and the King of the South. The one who will be the King of the North is prophesied to rise up \u201cWhen the transgressors have reached their fullness\u201d (Daniel 8:23), which suggests that this is about when God has had enough of the increasing immorality in nations like the USA and its British-descended allies. \u2026 the King of the North will do things that he had not told the USA he would do; \u2026 (p. 119)<\/p>\n<p>This King will employ deceit:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><sup>21<\/sup> \u2026 he shall come in peaceably, and seize the kingdom by intrigue. (Daniel 11:21)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><sup>23<\/sup> \u201cAnd in the latter time of their kingdom, When the transgressors have reached their fullness, A king shall arise, Having fierce features, Who understands sinister schemes. <sup>24<\/sup> His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power; He shall destroy fearfully, And shall prosper and thrive; He shall destroy the mighty, and also the holy people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><sup>25<\/sup> \u201cThrough his cunning he shall cause deceit to prosper under his rule; And he shall exalt himself in his heart. He shall destroy many in their prosperity. (Daniel 8:23-25)<\/p>\n<p>The King of the North\u00a0will deceitfully proclaim \u201cpeace and safety\u201d while plotting for the sudden destruction of those opposing him (1 Thessalonians 5:2\u20133). He will destroy the mighty American-British alliance.<\/p>\n<p>Because of not accepting and understanding biblical prophecies, many political and other leaders will be hoping for and believing in a false peace. The sudden destruction to come is likely to include a nuclear or other high tech attack, and could possibly happen in conjunction with a NATO\u00a0training or other exercise that would catch the USA\u00a0and its Anglo-Saxon-Celtic allies off guard. Other nations are likely to also be involved.<\/p>\n<p>The USA will be attacked by \u201cfriends\u201d consistent with the following:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><sup>1 <\/sup>How lonely sits the city<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">That was full of people!<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">How like a widow is she,<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Who was great among the nations!<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">The princess among the provinces<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Has become a slave!<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><sup>2<\/sup> She weeps bitterly in the night,<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Her tears are on her cheeks;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Among all her lovers<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">She has none to comfort her.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">All her friends have dealt treacherously with her;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">They have become her enemies. cf. Lamentations 1:1-2).<\/p>\n<p>Notice the one who was \u201cgreat among the nations\u201d will be conquered by friends, who will become enemies.<\/p>\n<p>The USA was prophesied to be \u201cgreat\u201d in Genesis 48:19 and is considered by international sources to be great among the nations of the world today. \u2026 (pp. 139-141)<\/p>\n<p>The time will come when the USA and NATO will be no more. NATO or other arrangements could give the Europeans cover for publicly preparing for a military event, while giving it the ability to publicly state that such preparations are only parts of an exercise. The Germans have historically used the element of surprise to gain military advantage\u2014remember WWII and blitzkrieg? Europe one day will turn on the USA (Lamentations 1:1-2, Daniel 11:39; Isaiah 10:5-12). Weapons of mass destruction, and not necessarily just nuclear, will be employed. (p. 143)<\/p>\n<p>While Donald Trump seems to believe that his policies are best for the United States, notice some unintended consequences of them: (p. 210)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Although, overall, the European nations have not paid for their defense to the amount they have suggested they would, pressuring them to spend more will 1) encourage them to be independent of the USA and 2) put Europe in a position where it has a great army (Daniel 11:25), many ships (Daniel 11:40), and access to nuclear weapons (cf. Deuteronomy 29:23-25; Isaiah 9:19-21;Ezekiel 6:6), which will help it conquer the USA, which is the military power with the strongest fortresses (cf. Daniel 11:39). (pp. 211-212)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Unintended consequences of Donald Trump\u2019s statements and actions include the fact that Europe is arming, plans to arm more, wants to be militarily independent of the USA, and is not pleased with Donald Trump or the USA.<\/p>\n<p>One day Europe will conquer the USA per biblical prophecies such as Daniel 11:39 and Isaiah 10:5-11.<\/p>\n<p>For over a decade, I have warned that Europe may attack the USA under the guise of a NATO or some other military-related exercise. The Bible tells us that this coming European leader <sup>21<\/sup> \u2026 shall come in peaceably, and seize the kingdom by intrigue. (Daniel 11:21). That is consistent with what I have long warned. Being part of a NATO exercise that could be held in the USA would be a way to seemingly &#8220;come in peaceably.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Europe is taking military steps which will one day allow it to do so.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this Summer,\u00a0<em>EuroNews<\/em> reported the following:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h2 class=\"c-article-redesign-title\">Defence a key priority of Denmark&#8217;s presidency of the European Union<\/h2>\n<p>4 July 2025<\/p>\n<p>Security and defence were high on the agenda when Denmark took over the six-month Presidency of the European Union and on Thursday, the 27 members of the College of Commissioners travelled to Aarhus, to mark the start of the new tenure.<\/p>\n<p>With defence a priority, the Scandinavian country intends to significantly push ahead with rearmament efforts.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If we are not prepared to defend our continent, who are we as Europeans?&#8221; Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen asked.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We need to rearm Europe by 2030 by the latest, and I look forward to the roadmap on how to achieve this goal, so that we can develop common capabilities, strengthen our defence industry, make joint procurements and remove all barriers and obstacles in our way,&#8221; she added. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euronews.com\/my-europe\/2025\/07\/04\/defence-a-key-priority-of-denmarks-presidency-of-the-european-union\">https:\/\/www.euronews.com\/my-europe\/2025\/07\/04\/defence-a-key-priority-of-denmarks-presidency-of-the-european-union<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Note that the objective is for Europe to be rearmed no later that 2030.<\/p>\n<p>Consider also that on 25 February 2025, Germany&#8217;s then chancellor-elect Friedrich Merz pushed independence from the USA:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">\u201cMy absolute priority will be to strengthen Europe as quickly as possible so that, step by step, we can really achieve independence from the USA,\u201d Merz said Sunday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Merz added, \u201cI never thought I would have to say something like this on a television program.
