The CEO of the European Climate Foundation, who served as France’s climate change ambassador for the 2015 United Nations climate summit in Paris, remains a climate optimist and points to China as an example to follow.<\/h3>\n

The European Union should stand up to President Donald Trump and reject further purchases of US energy products, as foreseen in the $750bn trade deal between the transatlantic partners, climate czar Laurence Tubiana told Euronews\u2019 flagship morning programme Europe Today on Monday.<\/p>\n

Tubiana, who played a key role in the negotiations around the Paris Agreement, said that pressure from the Trump administration shouldn\u2019t prevent the European Union from pursuing its climate goals of reaching climate neutrality by 2050.<\/p>\n

Her appeal comes as the US pushes back against some key EU climate laws – such as the EU’s carbon border tax – aiming to slash greenhouse gas emissions and encourage more sustainable practices outside of the European Union.<\/p>\n

“I haven’t seen anything like this in my whole life working on climate. The Europeans have long been upset with Donald Trump on climate matters.<\/p>\n

Donald Trump pulled the USA out of the Paris agreement the first time he was in office and did so again in his second term.<\/p>\n

Climate Change <\/strong><\/p>\n

Donald Trump\u2019s views against the \u2018climate change\u2019 agenda have not pleased the Europeans.<\/p>\n

As 45th<\/sup> President, Donald Trump pulled his nation out of the Paris Climate Accord agreement that the Obama-Biden Administration agreed to. The Biden-Harris Administration had the country rejoin that deal. Donald Trump intends to pull the USA out of the agreement again.<\/p>\n

The Paris conference was technically called the 21st Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change<\/em>, often abbreviated COP21. This is something that the Vatican also endorsed. There has been a COP meeting most of the years since (COVID affected it), but partially because of Donald Trump\u2019s re-election, COP29 (held for two weeks in November 2024 in Baku, Azerbaijan) was considered ineffective in making significant improvements.<\/p>\n

Europeans consider that they are the ones that are \u201cmoral\u201d on this matter and that the re-election of Donald Trump is making international climate improvement much more difficult. [i]<\/a><\/p>\n

Perhaps it should also be mentioned that Olav Fykse Tveit, when he was General Secretary of the World Council of Churches said it was a \u201csin against the Holy Spirit, if we all ignore climate change.\u201d [ii]<\/a> Essentially, he is stating it is the \u2018unpardonable sin\u2019 (cf. Luke 12:10) to not accept the climate change agenda. Donald Trump railed against the climate change agenda in his latest campaign and believes much of it is against America\u2019s interests.[iii]<\/a><\/p>\n

Irrespective of how one views the climate change matter, holding views that differ from Olav Fykse Tveit is not a \u201csin against the Holy Spirit.\u201d However, the reality is that countries, like the USA, should not agree to something on an international basis (like COP21) and then not follow through (cf. Psalm 15:1-4).<\/p>\n

Donald Trump\u2019s view of climate change has caused issues with Europe. Europe tends to see the USA as an irresponsible polluter of the planet, while Europe increasingly believes itself to be the environmental protector that the world needs.<\/p>\n

As Edward White writes in the\u00a0Financial Times:<\/em><\/p>\n

While US President\u00a0Donald Trump<\/a>\u00a0calls climate change a con, China is offering new technology and products to countries to develop green energy and to prepare for increasingly frequent and intense storms, floods, and droughts.<\/p>\n

Two days after our Changsha trip I attended a meeting in Beijing of Chinese officials and representatives of climate-vulnerable nations, a group that includes 74 nations with more than 1.8bn people.<\/p>\n

Liz Thompson, a former UN assistant secretary-general and now climate change ambassador for Barbados, said just as climate-vulnerable states are hit by more disasters, they are hampered in their response because of a lack of access to technology and financing. \u201cThese challenges provide compelling reasons to work more closely with China,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Chinese officials and business leaders are keen to oblige. Zhang Shiguo, executive director of China New Energy International Alliance, an organisation backed by government associations and renewable companies, said the country\u2019s green products had already reached 170 countries. \u201cThe reason China\u2019s new energy sector has done well is the determination to act,\u201d Zhang added.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Even though the world HAS NOT been living up to the Paris Accords, the US looks like it will be blamed in the future. Europe one day will consider that the US is so immoral on climate and trade matters that it needs to be eliminated, consistent with several biblical prophecies.<\/p>\n

There was a climate related vote in the United Nations last July that the USA probably did not like:<\/p>\n

THE HAGUE, Netherlands (AP) \u2014 The United Nations\u2019s top court in a landmark advisory opinion Wednesday said countries could be in violation of international law if they fail to take measures to protect the planet from climate change, and nations harmed by its effects could be entitled to reparations.<\/p>\n

Advocates immediately cheered the International Court of Justice opinion on nations\u2019 obligations to tackle climate change and the consequences they may face if they don\u2019t.<\/p>\n

\u201cFailure of a state to take appropriate action to protect the climate system \u2026 may constitute an internationally wrongful act,\u201d court President Yuji Iwasawa said during the hearing. He called the climate crisis \u201can existential problem of planetary proportions that imperils all forms of life and the very health of our planet.\u201d<\/p>\n

The non-binding opinion, which runs to over 500 pages, was hailed as a turning point in international climate law.<\/p>\n

Notably, the court said a \u201cclean, healthy and sustainable environment\u201d is a human right. That paves the way for other legal actions, including states returning to the ICJ to hold each other to account as well as domestic lawsuits, along with legal instruments like investment agreements.<\/p>\n

The case was led by the Pacific island nation of Vanuatu and backed by more than 130 countries.<\/p>\n

To answer the question in the above headline, yes, I believe that the USA will be considered to be a climate outlaw.<\/p>\n

That said, while there is a solution to \u2018climate change,\u2019 but the political and religious leaders of this world will not heed it.<\/p>\n

COP 27 and Solving Climate Change<\/a><\/h3>\n

The dates for the United Nations Climate Change meeting called COP 27 are November 6th through 18th, 2022. During that time, on November 13, 2022, a \u2018Chrislam\u2019 type group composed of leaders from the Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Protestant, Islamic, Buddhist, Hindu, and other faiths associated with the Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development and the Elijah Interfaith Institute are making what they titled \u2018A Prophetic Call for Climate Justice\u2019 and are having a \u2018Ceremony of Repentance\u2019 on what is referred to as Mount Sinai, in Egypt. Do this sound Gaia, mother goddess worship? Are Christians supposed to have religious ceremonies with pagans? What did the Apostle Paul write? What did Jesus say would happen to the earth? Are humans, apart from God, going to solve climate problems before Jesus returns? Is there any type of false gospel associated with aspects of the climate change movement? Would obeying God solve the issues of pollution and climate change? What about the good news, the gospel of the Kingdom of God? Does the Bible have the solution to pollution? Does the Bible have the answer to solving climate change? Dr Thiel and Steve Dupuie discuss these issues.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

But, partially because of Donald Trump and his stated policies, the US will be blamed for the world not hitting its climate goals.<\/p>\n

Donald Trump\u2019s view of climate change is expected to set up some type of issue between the USA and Europe. The USA Declared a \u2018Rogue Nation\u2019!<\/a><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

Because of US President Donald Trump\u2019s position on \u2018climate change\u2019 as well as certain executive orders from him, the USA has been declared a rogue nation by various ones in Europe, Africa, Asia, and other parts of the world. How does Webster\u2019s Dictionary define \u2018rogue\u2019? Is it possible that considering that the USA is a rogue nation will be part of the justification for it getting taken over in the future? What does the Vatican want done? Does the Bible teach that friends, who do not mean to takeover the USA will one day destroy it? Might \u2018climate change\u2019 be part of a false gospel?<\/p>\n

The Europeans will take over the \u201cgreat\u201d USA per Daniel 11:39 (see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses<\/a><\/span>). If more and more consider the USA to be a rogue nation, it will be easier to persuade more to support the takeover. Climate positions of the USA may be something that will be used to justify the takeover.<\/p>\n

This will not end well for the USA (cf. Daniel 11:39; Isaiah 10:5-11).<\/p>\n
