Danish presidency has bolstered Europe’s defence and competitiveness, minister says<\/h2>\n

As Denmark prepares to hand over the EU Presidency torch to Cyprus, its European Affairs Minister tells Euronews that her country made significant gains on priority points, from simplification to migration.<\/h3>\n

The European Union, under the helm of the Danish Presidency, made notable progress on policies considered priorities for Copenhagen, the country’s European Affairs Minister Marie Bjerre said on Euronews’ flagship interview programme 12 Minutes With<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Danish government has held the rotating Presidency of the Council of the EU since 1 July 2025, allowing it to set the agenda in Brussels. One of its priorities was tackling “bureaucracy” and “over-regulation” in a bid to restore the EU’s competitive edge, faced with China and the US.<\/p>\n

“We said from the beginning that we wanted a stronger Europe in terms of security and defence, and also competitiveness, which was the second theme. And we really managed also to deliver a result here,” Bjerre told Euronews. …<\/p>\n

Bjerre also welcomed the EU’s Digital Omnibus Package, aiming to make digital businesses competitive. Critics say this rolling back of Europe’s goal of becoming a trailblazer on tech legislation is a result of US President Donald Trump’s threats to impose tariffs against countries that he accuses of attacking US tech companies.<\/p>\n

“I think it is quite a strange argument to me,” Bjerre said. “Europe needed better competitiveness, whether we had Trump or not.” She said this was evidenced by last year’s report, penned by former president of the European Central Bank, Mario Draghi, which highlighted overregulation as a major hurdle for digital growth.<\/p>\n

Danish model<\/h3>\n

The Danish Presidency also led the negotiations on important developments when it comes to migration policy, notably reaching a deal<\/a> on the “safe third country” concept to allow external processing in “return hubs” and advance returns.<\/p>\n

“This has also been part of our presidency priorities, and it is a part of making Europe more secure,” Bjerre said. “We need to have better control of migrants coming to Europe, and we need to be better at sending irregular migrants back.” …<\/p>\n

Several EU countries, including Denmark, are pushing to reinterpret this convention to make it easier to deport criminals and irregular migrants. …<\/p>\n

So, do those ‘accomplishments’ align with biblical prophecies?<\/p>\n

Yes.<\/p>\n

The push for digitalization is consistent with the ‘666’ prophecies of Revelation 13:16-18, which Europe will one day implement.<\/p>\n

The push against migrants is consistent with warnings about conflicts between Europe and the peoples of North Africa and the Middle East, such as Daniel 11:40-43.<\/p>\n

The push for ‘competitiveness’ is consistent with prophecies, such as in Revelation 18 about the the merchants of the world trading with the end time European Babylonian Beast power.<\/p>\n

The push for ‘defence’ is a push for military power. And though many have written Europe off that way, the Bible shows that the somewhat dead military power of Europe will rise up:<\/p>\n

1 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. 2 Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? 5 And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. (Revelation 13:1-5)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The “sea” above is the Mediterranean Sea–that Beast is a coming European power (it is not Russia as it does not border the Mediterranean Sea, which is also called the Great Sea in Daniel 7:2 as well as other parts of the Old Testament).<\/p>\n

So, the “significant gains” that Denmark’s European Affairs Minister Marie Bjerre pointed to, do align with properly understood biblical prophecies for Europe. Those “gains” all have\u00a0 been happening while Donald Trump has been USA president–and his statements and actions have motivated Europe to make “gains” in those areas.<\/p>\n

Biblical prophesies will be fulfilled and come to pass.<\/p>\n

The current Anglo-American world order will end and the European Beast power will rise up.<\/p>\n
