The Large Hadron Collider has Military Potential

by COGwriter

Are you familiar with Europe's Large Hadron Collider operated by the European Center for Nuclear Research (Organisation Européenne pour la Recherche Nucléaire), which often calls itself CERN? (Here is a link to a related video: Could the Large Hadron Collider lead to destruction?)

Could it produce information that could be used by the coming European Beast power for military and/or monitoring purposes?

The following is at the website of CERN’s Large Hadron Collider:

The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is the world’s largest and most powerful particle accelerator. It first started up on 10 September 2008, and remains the latest addition to CERN’s accelerator complex. The LHC consists of a 27-kilometre ring of superconducting magnets with a number of accelerating structures to boost the energy of the particles along the way.

Inside the accelerator, two high-energy particle beams travel at close to the speed of light before they are made to collide. The beams travel in opposite directions in separate beam pipes – two tubes kept at ultrahigh vacuum. They are guided around the accelerator ring by a strong magnetic field maintained by superconducting electromagnets. The electromagnets are built from coils of special electric cable that operates in a superconducting state, efficiently conducting electricity without resistance or loss of energy. This requires chilling the magnets to ‑271.3°C – a temperature colder than outer space. (https://home.cern/topics/large-hadron-collider accessed 07/23/16)

The speeds and temperatures involved are impressive.

Here is some information from a scientific article with a publication date of 1 September 2016:

The Advanced Proton Driven Plasma Wakefield Acceleration Experiment (AWAKE) aims at studying plasma wakefield generation and electron acceleration driven by proton bunches. It is a proof-of-principle R&D experiment at CERN and the world׳s first proton driven plasma wakefield acceleration experiment. The AWAKE experiment will be installed in the former CNGS facility and uses the 400 GeV/c proton beam bunches from the SPS. The first experiments will focus on the self-modulation instability of the long (rms ~12 cm) proton bunch in the plasma. These experiments are planned for the end of 2016. … The installation of the AWAKE experiment is advancing well. (Gschwendtner E, et al. (Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research Section A: Accelerators, Spectrometers, Detectors and Associated Equipment). Science Direct. Volume 829, 1 September 2016, Pages 76–82)

This project has made a lot of physics-related discoveries, and the ramifications of those it has already made have not been fully implemented yet. But this is a project that is giving Europe technologies that it expects to exploit in the future.

A reader sent me a link to the following related to CERN:

July 6, 2016

There are some “major concerns” about what the scientists at CERN are doing these days.  The European Organization for Nuclear Research, more commonly known by the acronym “CERN”, is purposely smashing particles into one another at astonishingly high speeds.

Just last month, the researchers working at the facility began a new experiment called “Awake” that uses “plasma wakefields driven by a proton beam” to accelerate charged particles.

On June 24th, pictures of some extremely bizarre “portal-shaped cloud formations” were taken in the area just above the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.

This is what the official CERN website has to say about the “Awake” experiment that has just begun…

AWAKE (the Advanced Proton Driven Plasma Wakefield Acceleration Experiment) will be the first accelerator of its kind in the world. It is currently under construction, but hopes to test the concept that plasma wakefields driven by a proton beam could accelerate charged particles.

The reason why there is such a focus on this experiment is because of the images that were taken of the sky just above the Large Hadron Collider on June 24th. …

In addition, there are those that have pointed out that “CERN” is the first four letters of the name of the horned pagan god named Cernunnos…

‘Is it just a coincidence that CERN is short for the horned God Cernunnos? Is it also a coincidence that CERN has to go deep underground to do their “god” harnessing experiments? Cernunnos was the god of the underworld.’

Also, there appears to be a very curious parallel between the geographic location of CERN and a passage in the book of Revelation…

Now on top of all the speculation as to what CERN scientists are really attempting to do with their Large Hadron Collider, many observers could not help but notice that the town in France where CERN is partially situated is called “Saint-Genus-Poilly.”

The name Pouilly comes from the Latin “Appolliacum” and it is believed that in Roman times a temple existed in honor of Apollo, and the people who lived there believed that it is a gateway to the underworld. It is interesting to note that CERN is built on the same spot.

Religious leaders – always suspicious of the aims of the scientific world – drew a connection to a verse straight out of Revelations (9:1-2, 11), which makes reference to the name ‘Apollyon.’ The verse states: “To him was given the key of the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit… And they had a kind over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.”

On top of everything else, the people running CERN decided to choose a logo that seems to contain “666″…

And they also decided to erect a statue of the Hindu god Shiva (“the destroyer”) right outside CERN headquarters…

CERN Shiva

What does all of this ultimately mean?

I don’t know, but I can certainly understand why so many people are raising questions. http://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=470#xqaMxR6H0BHTH4LX.99

As far as what all this means, let me mainly state that I have warned since last decade that CERN’s Large Hadron Collider has the potential to put the Europeans ahead of the Americans in terms of physics as well as military spinoffs of new technologies.

As far as 666 goes, while I do not believe that CERN is the 666 that the Bible warns about, I expect it to be on the same side that 666 is on. I first pointed out the 666 connection to CERN when I posted about it on November 1, 2010 (see CERN logo is 666?).

It is interesting, to me at least, that the Shiva statue is outside of CERN’s headquarters. Here is some information about Shiva:

Lord Shiva is the destroyer of the world, following Brahma the creator and Vishnu the preserver, after which Brahma again creates the world and so on. Shiva is responsible for change both in the form of death and destruction and in the positive sense of destroying the ego, the false identification with the form. (Shiva. http://www.sanatansociety.org/hindu_gods_and_goddesses/shiva.htm#.V30-8qK2eLE accessed 07/06/16)

It may well be that the Large Hadron Collider will produce destructive technology.

The USA is beginning to lose its current lead in various areas of physics. Large physics projects tend to produce military weaponry. Now if the Large Hadron Collider does have military potential, which I have long indicated that it does, all should understand that it is likely that the Europeans and not the Americans will benefit from it:

Collider Sets Record, and Europe Takes U.S.’s Lead

By DENNIS OVERBYE…

Those spinoffs now will invigorate the careers and labs of Europe, not the United States, pointed out Steven Weinberg, a physicist at the University of Texas in Austin, who won the Nobel Prize for work that will be tested in the new collider. Americans will work at CERN, but not as leaders, he said in an e-mail interview.

“There is also a depressing symbolism,” he added, “in the fact that the hottest new results in fundamental physics will for decades not be coming from our country.” http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/10/science/10collide.html

So, whatever technologies are spun-off from this project are expected to primarily benefit the Europeans and not the Americans. And Americans may not like the results of the projects, like LHC, that the Europeans are working on.

Since the Beast of Revelation 13 will be European (Europa, the Beast, and Revelation and the YouTube video Can You Prove that the Beast to Come is European?), I have long felt that the Large Hadron Collider project had major military potential (see Thiel B. 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect. Nazarene Books, 2009, p. 85).

The world’s most advanced physics’ project in the world belongs to Europe.

Pentaquarks, Quark-Gluon Plasma, and Dark Matter

Scientists in Europe are excited about something else found by CERN’s Large Hadron Collider (LHC):

July 14, 2015

BERLIN—A new kind of subatomic particle called the pentaquark has been detected for the first time, the European Organization for Nuclear Research said Tuesday. The lab, known by its French acronym CERN, said the findings were made by a team of scientists working on one of the four experiments at its Large Hadron Collider. Their results have been submitted to the journal Physical Review Letters.

The existence of pentaquarks was first proposed in the 1960s by American physicists Murray Gell-Mann and Georg Zweig. Gell-Mann, who coined the term “quark,” received the Nobel Prize in 1969.

Guy Wilkinson, a spokesman for the LHCb experiment team, said studying pentaquarks may help scientists to better understand “how ordinary matter, the protons and neutrons from which we’re all made, is constituted.”

“This seems to be [a] very significant observation,” said Anton Andronic, a physicist based at the Helmholtz Center for Heavy Ion Research in Darmstadt, Germany, who wasn’t involved in the LHCb experiment. “But like any discovery it will have to be confirmed by an independent measurement.”

Previous claims to the detection of pentaquarks have been refuted.

The discovery, if verified, would be the second major find at the Large Hadron Collider, which is used by physicists from around the world. The collider was instrumental in the discovery of the Higgs boson, a subatomic particle that had long been theorized but never confirmed until 2013.

The collider is housed in a 27-kilometer (16.8-mile) tunnel beneath the Swiss-French border near Geneva. It was recently given a $150 million upgrade that allows atoms to be smashed together with even greater force.

CERN likened previous attempts to prove the existence of pentaquarks to looking for silhouettes in the dark, “whereas LHCb conducted the search with the lights on, and from all angles.” http://www.voanews.com/content/ap-cern-discovery-pentaquark-particles/2861249.html

July 14, 2015

Scientists using Europe’s Large Hadron Collider atom-smashing machine have stumbled on the existence of an exotic particle known as the pentaquark, a discovery that could shed light on how everyday matter is constituted. …

The discovery will deepen science’s understanding of the strong nuclear force, one of the four basic forces in nature (the others being gravity, the electromagnetic force, and the weak nuclear force). The main job of the strong force is to bind protons and neutrons to form atoms—the basis of all matter.  http://www.wsj.com/articles/hadron-collider-scientists-stumble-upon-pentaquark-particle-1436879377

A pentaquark is a subatomic particle consisting of four quarks and one antiquark bound together. A quark  is an elementary particle and a fundamental constituent of matter. Quarks combine to form composite particles called hadrons, the most stable of which are protons and neutrons, the components of the nucleus of an atom.  An antiquark differs from the quark only in that some of its properties have equal magnitude but opposite sign. As with antimatter in general, antiquarks have the same mass, mean lifetime, and spin as their respective quarks, but the electric charge and other charges have the opposite sign. Basically an antiquark can neutralize some effects of a quark.

It is possible that learning more about pentaquarks will affect understanding on how substances hold together, and probably conversely, how they can come apart.  While it is believed that this discovery will have cosmological ramifications, closer to home there is a chance it could have military applications, once better understood.

Notice the following:

September 4, 2015

Using Large Hadron Collider, a team of physicists has revealed the “littlest” quark-gluon plasma, a state of matter thought to have existed right at the birth of the universe, with fewer particles than previously thought possible.

The material was discovered by colliding protons with lead nuclei at high energy inside the supercollider’s Compact Muon Solenoid detector.

Researchers at the University of Kansas working with an international team at the Large Hadron Collider have dubbed the resulting plasma as the “littlest liquid.”

Researcher Quan Wang said that before the CMS experimental results, it had been thought the medium created in a proton on lead collisions would be too small to create a quark-gluon plasma.

Wang added that these collisions were being studied as a reference for collisions of two lead nuclei to explore the non-quark-gluon-plasma aspects of the collisions, noting that the analysis presented in this paper indicates, contrary to expectations, a quark-gluon plasma can be created in very asymmetric proton on lead collisions. http://www.financialexpress.com/article/lifestyle/science/large-hadron-collider-helps-recreate-big-bangs-littlest-liquid/130279/

Despite problems it has had, this European project continues to make history by way of collisions. Collisions bring to mind destruction. Physics’ projects involving destruction bring to mind military applications of destruction.

Notice the following:

Researchers, building on findings from work involving the Large Hadron Collider, have found a theoretical new form of energy. This new, renewable option is more powerful than nuclear by fusing quarks into baryons.

November 6, 2017

This new source of energy, according to researchers Marek Karliner and Jonathan Rosner, comes from the fusion of subatomic particles known as quarks. These particles are usually produced as a result of colliding atoms that move at high speeds within the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), where these component parts split from their parent atoms. It doesn’t stop there, however, as these disassociated quarks also tend to collide with one another and fuse into particles called baryons.

It is this fusion of quarks that Karliner and Rosner focused on, as they found that this fusion is capable of producing energy even greater than what’s produced in hydrogen fusion. In particular, they studied how fused quarks configure into what’s called a doubly-charmed baryon. Fusing quarks require 130 MeV to become doubly-charmed baryons, which, in turn, releases energy that’s 12 MeV more energy. Turning their calculations to heavier bottom quarks, which need 230 MeV to fuse, they found that a resulting baryon could produce approximately 138 MeV of net energy—about eight times more than what hydrogen fusion releases. ...

While the team is yet to fuse bottom quarks, which they argue is technically possible using the LHC, their study presents another potentially renewable source of energy—one that could be more powerful than any that’s currently available. With the theory largely proven, it is now only a matter of developing the technology that could turn quark fusion into a reality. https://futurism.com/quark-fusion-produces-eight-times-more-energy-than-nuclear-fusion/

So, the LHC may produce quark fusion energy.

Notice the the Large Hadron Collider also seems to being research related to 'dark matter':

Physicists abuzz about possible new particle as CERN revs up

May 2, 2016

GENEVA (AP) — Was it a blip, or a breakthrough?

Scientists around the globe are revved up with excitement as the world’s biggest atom smasher – best known for revealing the Higgs boson four years ago – starts whirring again to churn out data that may confirm cautious hints of an entirely new particle.

Such a discovery would all but upend the most basic understanding of physics, experts say.

The European Center for Nuclear Research, or CERN by its French-language acronym, has in recent months given more oomph to the machinery in a 27-kilometer (17-mile) underground circuit along the French-Swiss border known as the Large Hadron Collider.

In a surprise development in December, two separate LHC detectors each turned up faint signs that could indicate a new particle, and since then theorizing has been rife.

“It’s a hint at a possible discovery,” said theoretical physicist Csaba Csaki, who isn’t involved in the experiments. “If this is really true, then it would possibly be the most exciting thing that I have seen in particle physics in my career – more exciting than the discovery of the Higgs itself.” …

On Friday, the LHC was temporarily immobilized by a weasel, which invaded a transformer that helps power the machine and set off an electrical outage. CERN says it was one of a few small glitches that will delay by a few days plans to start the data collection at the $4.4 billion collider. …

The LHC’s Atlas and Compact Muon Solenoid particle detectors in December turned up preliminary readings that suggested a particle not accounted for by the Standard Model might exist at 750 Giga electron Volts. This mystery particle would be nearly four times more massive than the top quark, the most massive particle in the model, and six times more massive than the Higgs, CERN officials say.

The Standard Model has worked well, but has gaps notably about dark matter, which is believed to make up one-quarter of the mass of the universe. Theorists say the December results, if confirmed, could help elucidate that enigma; or it could signal a graviton – a theorized first particle with gravity – or another boson, even hint of a new dimension. http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/E/EU_CERN_NEW_PARTICLE?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2016-05-02-05-15-52

Here is what NASA says about dark energy and dark matter:

What Is Dark Energy?

More is unknown than is known. We know how much dark energy there is because we know how it affects the Universe’s expansion. Other than that, it is a complete mystery. But it is an important mystery. It turns out that roughly 68% of the Universe is dark energy. Dark matter makes up about 27%. The rest – everything on Earth, everything ever observed with all of our instruments, all normal matter – adds up to less than 5% of the Universe. Come to think of it, maybe it shouldn’t be called “normal” matter at all, since it is such a small fraction of the Universe.

One explanation for dark energy is that it is a property of space. Albert Einstein was the first person to realize that empty space is not nothing. Space has amazing properties, many of which are just beginning to be understood. The first property that Einstein discovered is that it is possible for more space to come into existence. Then one version of Einstein’s gravity theory, the version that contains a cosmological constant, makes a second prediction: “empty space” can possess its own energy. Because this energy is a property of space itself, it would not be diluted as space expands. As more space comes into existence, more of this energy-of-space would appear. As a result, this form of energy would cause the Universe to expand faster and faster. Unfortunately, no one understands why the cosmological constant should even be there, much less why it would have exactly the right value to cause the observed acceleration of the Universe. …

What is Dark Matter?

By fitting a theoretical model of the composition of the Universe to the combined set of cosmological observations, scientists have come up with the composition that we described above, ~68% dark energy, ~27% dark matter, ~5% normal matter. What is dark matter?

We are much more certain what dark matter is not than we are what it is. First, it is dark, meaning that it is not in the form of stars and planets that we see. Observations show that there is far too little visible matter in the Universe to make up the 27% required by the observations. Second, it is not in the form of dark clouds of normal matter, matter made up of particles called baryons. We know this because we would be able to detect baryonic clouds by their absorption of radiation passing through them. Third, dark matter is not antimatter, because we do not see the unique gamma rays that are produced when antimatter annihilates with matter. Finally, we can rule out large galaxy-sized black holes on the basis of how many gravitational lenses we see. High concentrations of matter bend light passing near them from objects further away, but we do not see enough lensing events to suggest that such objects to make up the required 25% dark matter contribution. http://science.nasa.gov/astrophysics/focus-areas/what-is-dark-energy/

Not a lot is known about ‘dark matter,’ but the Europeans are in the lead to possibly develop technologies related to it.

Stangelets?

Someone sent me a link to the following related to CERN’s Large Hadron Collider (LHC):

In the fall of 2015 CERN will begin colliding groups of 70 million lead hadrons at 287 tev, unpacking millions of quarks in each collision. Those quarks will be first accelerated at light speed, acquiring relativistic mass, becoming heavier strange quarks, the substance of a strange quark-gluon soup called a ‘strangelet‘. The strange liquid has the potential to become stable and start an ‘ice-9′ big-bang reaction. If that happens that effectively transforms the Earth into a pulsar.

While CERN adamantly denies to the public and the press that production of Strangelets is possible, it runs a program called CASTOR for Centaruro And STrangelets Object Research, whose researchers affirm in their inner reports to the company the ‘likely’ probability of creating them. This is in accordance to the most advanced literature on the subject, but of course, it must be hidden to the public and the naive press…

2) In 2015, when it ramps up to 7 Tev, it will cross the 10 Tev barrier in its collisions.

In 2015 the LHC will accelerate protons and hadrons at maximal energy, colliding them at over 1 Pev, producing heavy, bottom, charm and top quark-gluon liquid condensates, aka Higgs, possible substances of black holes. The quark-gluon soup it will produce will be far denser and attractive than strangelet liquid, hence the process of accretion of the Earth will be self-similar to the strangelet event but much faster.  http://cerntruth.wordpress.com/

Abstract. We have received and will show in this article astonishing documents leaked out of CERN internal servers, about the CASTOR  project, a Centauro and STrangelet Object Research to hunt for strangelets ‘likely‘ to be produced at the LHC.

According to those internal documents CERN has been lying for years to the press and in the suits, since it always affirmed that it won’t produce the ultra-dangerous, ultradense ‘strangelets’, the liquid explosive made of up, down and strange quarks, responsible of the ice-9 reactions that cause supernovas (below’s graph).

In those documents CERN affirms there is a 65-70% of chances of producing negative strangelets, which according to standard science on strangelets today, will provoke the ice-9 reaction (name taken from Cat and Cradle’s book in which a physicist destroys the world throwing a new type of water that freezes the planet, since an ice-9 reaction will condensate the planet in a 15 kilometers ultra-dense strange star).

Thus CERN has been lying and it is playing with all mankind a Quantum Russian Roulette game with 4 shots out of 6, 66% chances of extinction. This will be even if we survive the biggest genocide of history, calculated multiplying probability and victims: 66% x 6.6 billions=4.4 billions, 1000 times the Holocaust. http://cerntruth.wordpress.com/2011/12/27/119-terrorists-will-start-production-of-strangelets-irony-or-destiny/

While I do not believe that CERN’s project will cause some type of immediate holocaust, the reality is that I do believe that destructive technology may be a result of CERN’s work.

As far as strangelets go, there has been work done related to them at CERN’s LHC (see Model of Centauro and strangelet production in heavy ion collisions).

There are also reports that the risk for stangelets has been overstated:

“(The) 22-week gold-gold run will include 3 weeks at low energy to complete beam energy scan, 15 weeks at high energy for detailed studies of plasma, plus time for cool down and warm up of magnets,” said Berndt Mueller, Brookhaven’s Associate Laboratory Director for Nuclear and Particle Physics.

The boosted luminosity of the particle beams and the lower energy collisions will optimize the production of quark-gluon plasma — an obvious boon for physics. But this is exactly what concerns law experts Johnson and Baram.

“Critics have called for serious attention to the possibility that the collider might generate a subatomic object called a ‘strangelet,’ which could, if certain assumptions are correct, start a chain reaction converting everything into ‘strange matter,’” they write. “The process would, according to Sir Martin Rees, Astronomer Royal of the United Kingdom, leave the planet ‘an inert hyperdense sphere about one hundred meters across.’”

An inert hyperdense sphere. That doesn’t sound good. Doomsday never sounds good.

A strangelet is the speculative boogieman of particle physics. They are hypothetical post-collision particles that condense from the primordial matter to form an up, down and a strange quark which combine to make a strangelet. Although they have yet to be detected from any particle collision experiment, the risk posed by the potential existence of strangelets, argue Johnson and Baram, should be investigated. One theory suggests that should stranglets be created, a chain reaction with ordinary matter could rampage around the planet, reducing Earth to a hyperdense sphere.

ANALYSIS: Higgs Boson Discovery = Cosmic Doomsday?

According to the original RHIC risk assessment in 1999, scientists stated: “Elementary theoretical considerations suggest that the most dangerous type of collision is that at considerably lower energy than RHIC.” Originally, the RHIC was designed to operate at energies of 100 GeV. But now physicists are becoming more interested in lower-energy collisions in exactly the range where the original risk assessment said was “most dangerous.” The three weeks of lower energy collisions between gold ions will occur at 7.3 GeV.

The RHIC upgrade comes at a time when a new spending bill was signed into law by President Barack Obama, establishing a commission that will evaluate the cost-effectiveness of the Department of Energy’s national laboratories, including Brookhaven. In their op-ed, Johnson and Baram say that this would be the perfect time for the commission to not only look into budgetary concerns, they should “take a sober look” at the RHIC’s potential of “destroying the whole planet.”

Of course, the op-ed sounds alarming, especially as this isn’t some conspiracy theory being bandied around by a self-proclaimed “expert.” However, we are talking about the very, very, very low probability of strangelets being generated in the RHIC, particles that are purely hypothetical in nature. http://news.discovery.com/space/could-rhic-strangelets-spawn-doomsday-140213.htm

That being said, the reality is that the Higgs boson was also only considered to be theoretical until CERN proved otherwise with the LCH in the past year or two–a Nobel prize was awarded for demonstrating that it did in October 2013 (see CERN’s Large Hadron Collider and the Noble Prize for Physics).  Also, it should be noted was believed, as recently as a few years ago, that antimatter could not exist more than a few nanoseconds, at most, yet CERN had it for 17 minutes (see ERN Makes Major Strides with Antimatter).

My point is NOT that stangelets will necessarily destroy the planet. My point is that the reality is that the work on this project is being done in Europe.

Military Potential?

Could the LHC have military potential?

Many claim that is not possible. Notice one odd opinion as to supposedly why it has no military potential:

7 February 2014

Why is the LHC research facility built in Switzerland and not elsewhere?

Joseph Wang, Ph.D. Astrophysics

CERN itself was established in the early 1950's, and there were some good reasons why it was put into Switzerland.

Because Switzerland is neutral that insured that CERN research could not be used for military purposes.

Swiss neutrality was an important reason why LHC continued to be funded and the US collider was cancelled.  Particle physics in the US has some close ties with the defense (i.e. Fermilab while non-military and non-classified was run through the same agency that ran Oak Ridge and Los Alamos), and when the Cold War ended, funding for HEP in the US was cut as was funding for the US collider.  Because CERN was from the beginning in neutral territory, it was largely unaffected by the end of the Cold War.  There's also a rather strong anti-nuclear movement in Europe, and keeping it in Switzerland where the technology can't be used for military purposes keeps CERN out of these political fights. https://www.quora.com/Why-is-the-LHC-research-facility-built-in-Switzerland-and-not-elsewhere

Being in Switzerland (and France) certainly does NOT prevent the militarization of what it produces. That is no guarantee at all.

But consider the following:

Will The Hadron Collider Produce New Military Weaponry?

By James Donahue …

Physicists plan other experiments that they hope will give them an understanding of other theorized concepts that include dark matter, anti-matter and supersymmetry.

Many scientists from around the world worry that experiments with a machine this powerful might release forces capable of literally destroying our world. …

Authorities arrested a researcher on the site that had ties to Al Qaeda. The man had been working on an experiment in particle physics as a contractor since 2003. The newspaper Le Figaro reported the incident, saying that the man had been in contact with Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb and had suggested several French targets for militant attacks.

Of course CERN issued a statement in which it assured everybody that its research lacks any potential for military applications and that the arrested suspect “had no contact with anything that could have been used for terrorism.”

So what was the link? Was it merely a scientist with political ties to this extremist terrorist organization? It seems more plausible that this person was interested in something going on within the CERN research. …

So is CERN a secret black budget military research program in disguise? Based upon its international links, this is highly unlikely. But as the physicists zero in on such highly elusive and potentially dangerous targets as the Higgs Boson, anti-matter and strangelets, we can be sure military eyes are watching closely.

Looking back in history, we are sure the German physicists Otto Hahn, Lise Meitner and Fritz Strassmann never foresaw their impact on world history when they split a uranium atom almost in half with a bombardment of neutrons, producing barium and krypton. They were shocked by the spectacular charge of some 200 million electron voltz in released energy that occurred. http://perdurabo10.tripod.com/galleryi/id63.html

Some were worried when the Large Hadron Collider was originally started up that the start-up could destroy the world–but on September 9, 2008 I wrote that was not possible (see September 10th is Not the End of the World).

But I also wrote on that date:

On the other hand, while it is touted as simply a scientific (and not a military) device, the LHC will likely give the Europeans some techological advantages that they will eventually be able to use as they seek to strength their military. And that is likely to help them when they decide it is time to launch a surprise attack on the USA, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

Since the Bible is clear that the Beast power will have unique military advantage and the Europeans have the largest “super collider” in existence, it just may be that it will somehow lead the Europeans to get the type of military power that they are prophesied to have (cf. Revelation 13:4)

But again, the destruction of the Anglo-American powers cannot happen until at least 3 1/2 years from now, which would be no earlier than 2012. It will not be September 10, 2008. (Thiel B. September 10th is Not the End of the World, September 9, 2008).

In addition to the Large Hadron Collider, the German are planning a possibly even more advanced collider called FAIR (FAIR stands for the Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research). The FAIR project is in process of construction. Here is some information about it:

The Federal Republic of Germany together with the State of Hesse is the major contributor to the construction, the current nine international partners – Finland, France, India, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Sweden and the United Kingdom – bear ca. 30% of the construction cost.

FAIR will be a host laboratory for basic research for about 3000 scientists from about 50 countries. http://www.fair-center.eu/public/what-is-fair.html

Basic research? Nuclear research could well be termed ‘basic research’ and we know what that has resulted in.

Antimatter?

As far as military applications go, this European LHC project has been heavily focused on various small particles and subatomic items, including antimatter.  When the Large Hadron Collider was in its infancy, many scientists doubted that antimatter could be produced and captured. But the LHC disproved that as it was able to produce and store antimatter.

In May of 2009, Dan Brown’s movie, Angels & Demons, had antimatter captured from part of CERN ‘s Large Hadron Collider. Now it has happened in real life:

Antimatter captured by CERN scientists in dramatic physics breakthrough

Antimatter has been captured by scientists for the first time in a physics breakthrough that echoes the hit Hollywood movie Angels & Demons.

Physicists at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva have created the stuff of “Star Trek” for the first time ever: genuine antimatter.

A 17-member team announced the production and preservation of 38 antihydrogen atoms. Physicists Emilio Segre and Owen Chamberlain of the University California, Berkeley, earned the 1959 Nobel Prize for producing part of an antihydrogen atom, antiprotons. (Martin M. CERN scientists have now been able to isolate unstable antimatter for a grand total of nearly 17 minutes. That’s a far cry from experiments performed last fall, when scientists were only able to record the presence of antimatter for fractions of seconds. The increased longevity should now give researchers the time they need to perform studies on antiatoms related to change-parity-time reversal (CPT) symmetry.  http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2386429,00.asp

In the movie, which I saw in Arroyo Grande (California), antimatter played an important role. In Angels & Demons. someone stole captured antimatter from CERN’s Large Hadron Collider on the behalf of one trying to be an antipope.  Many considered antimatter only existing in science fiction. Yet, it considered to be a science fact--and can exist for significant amounts of time (it is my understanding that CERN stopped holding it after 17 minutes, not that 17 minutes is the limit to its existence).

As far as antimatter goes, here are some comments from NASA:

Antimatter is real stuff, not just science fiction. Antimatter is firmly in the realm of science with some aspects even entering the technology realm. There is also a lot of speculation about what one might do with antimatter.

What is Antimatter?

Antimatter is matter with its electrical charge reversed. Anti-electrons, called “positrons,” are like an electron but with a positive charge. Antiprotons are like protons with a negative charge. Positron, antiprotons and other antiparticles can be routinely created at particle accelerator labs, such as CERN in Europe, and can even be trapped and stored for days or weeks at a time. And… they made antihydrogen for the first time. It didn’t last long, but they did it.

It costs far more energy to create antimatter than the energy one could get back from an antimatter reaction. … Something to keep in mind, too, is that antimatter reactions – where antimatter and normal matter collide and release energy, require the same safety precautions as needed with nuclear reactions. http://www.nasa.gov/centers/glenn/technology/warp/antistat.html

Notice that NASA acknowledges that CERN with its LHC has produced and stored antimatter, that antimatter collection is expensive, and that antimatter is dangerous. And it is something that Europe has decided to continue to research and produce.

Here is something from a CERN-related website:

In 1928, British physicist Paul Dirac wrote down an equation that combined quantum theory and special relativity to describe the behaviour of an electron moving at a relativistic speed. The equation – which won Dirac the Nobel prize in 1933 …

Dirac interpreted the equation to mean that for every particle there exists a corresponding antiparticle, exactly matching the particle but with opposite charge. For the electron there should be an “antielectron”, for example, identical in every way but with a positive electric charge. The insight opened the possibility of entire galaxies and universes made of antimatter.

But when matter and antimatter come into contact, they annihilate – disappearing in a flash of energy. …

At CERN, physicists make antimatter to study in experiments. The starting point is the Antiproton Decelerator, which slows down antiprotons so that physicists can investigate their properties. http://home.web.cern.ch/topics/antimatter

Now if the Large Hadron Collider does have military potential, which I have long indicated that it does, all should understand that it is likely that the Europeans and not the Americans will benefit from it.  That will probably also include items related to its claimed find of pentaquarks.

Historically, humans have seen that large physics projects tend to produce military weaponry.

Orwellian Artificial Intelligence

The LHC is involved in data production and knowledge development.

Did you know that faster development of knowledge was also prophesied in the Bible to occur during the time of the end? God told the prophet Daniel the following:

4 “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” (Daniel 12:4)

What is called ‘artificial intelligence’ is consistent with that prophecy.

Here is a definition of it:

Artificial intelligence (AI, also machine intelligence, MI) is intelligence demonstrated by machines, in contrast to the natural intelligence (NI) displayed by humans and other animals. In computer science AI research is defined as the study of “intelligent agents”: any device that perceives its environment and takes actions that maximize its chance of successfully achieving its goals. Colloquially, the term “artificial intelligence” is applied when a machine mimics “cognitive” functions that humans associate with other human minds, such as “learning” and “problem solving”. (Artificial Intelligence, Wikipedia, accessed 04/10/18)

AI will also be used for things like internet censorship–which is already happeneing–much more of which is to come (cf. Amos 8:11-12):

With machine learning (a process that creates AI), researchers are seeking alternative data sources, such as content structure, keyword use, headline choice, and engagement to rank the validity of news articles. Current results signal more training data is still needed, but as such data increases, so will the accuracy.

Even with that promising progress, there’s a plot twist: AI can also create fake news, meaning AI spotters vs. AI disseminators. We often imagine a robot war being fought on a physical battlefield with Terminator-style creations bringing fire and fury. However, considering the current digital trajectory, the robot “cold war” is likely already here. Twitter’s recent dump of millions of state-sponsored troll bot account tweets is only one of numerous examples of AI’s darker side. 10/19/18 https://www.teslarati.com/artificial-intelligence-ai-future-humanity-current-reality/

Even Europe’s Large Hadron Collider is involved with AI:

You may have heard of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN in Switzerland, i.e., the giant, nearly 17-mile long particle smasher infamously feared to be attempting to create black holes on purpose. The end of the world aside, the data gathered by all the LHC’s experiments is huge and overwhelming. So overwhelming, in fact, that CERN physicists are now turning to computer scientists to implement AI for data sorting and reconstruction. Combine the power of AI with the theory that a solar system-sized collider could reveal the inner workings of the big bang, and there you have it. The answer to life, the universe, and everything, brought to you by artificial intelligence. 10/19/18 https://www.teslarati.com/artificial-intelligence-ai-future-humanity-current-reality/

Notice the following about the European Beast of the Sea (watch Can You Prove that the Beast to Come is European?):

1 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. 2 Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast.

4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” (Revelation 13:1-4)

So, this Beast power will be worshiped, the whole world will marvel, and he will have a unique way to wage war successfully. I have written since at least last decade that this means that advanced technology will be part of the reason. And that technology is likely to use what is called artificial intelligence.

Furthermore, the following scriptures support the view that to some degree, advanced computer software, which may or may not be considered as ‘artificial intelligence,’ will be used by the coming European Beast of the Sea dictator (Revelation 13:1-10) as well as his Beast of the Earth (Revelation 13:11) accomplice:

11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived.

15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. (Revelation 13:11-18)

Notice that the Beast of the Earth gets the people who dwell on the earth to worship the other Beast. While he will likely have what will be some type of demonic-superpower (Revelation 16:13), it is possible that something like artificial intelligence will be used to get the image of the Beast to speak and to get those who will not worship the Beast to be killed.

Additionally, when it comes to controlling buying and selling, that was not possible before this digital age of the 21st century. That is something that computers will be involved in. Computer software is a type of artificial intelligence. And sometimes it is specific programing that is considered AI as well. The LHC may have involvement.

End Time Military Prophecy

I believe that Germany’s FAIR, along with the LHC and other technology, like, perhaps, its helium fusion stellarator (see German helium fusion stellarator may help propel Europe to dominate the world), will help the Europeans produce military weaponry to fulfill certain end time prophecies.

At risk of repeat, notice the following:

3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” (Revelation 13:3-4)

The last portion of Revelation 13:4 is discussing what seems to be a unique type of warfare. Since this is an end time prophecy, this warfare likely includes certain high-tech weapons (such as electromagnetic pulse, neutron bombs, unique delivery systems, etc.) that will be effective for a while.

It should also be noted that the Bible shows that the end time European King of the North Beast power will destroy the USA as well as a confederation of lands that are currently Islamic:

39 He will attack the mightiest fortresses with the help of a foreign god and will greatly honor those who acknowledge him. He will make them rulers over many people and will distribute the land at a price. 40“At the time of the end the king of the South will engage him in battle, and the king of the North will storm out against him with chariots and cavalry and a great fleet of ships. He will invade many countries and sweep through them like a flood. 41 He will also invade the Beautiful Land. Many countries will fall, but Edom, Moab and the leaders of Ammon will be delivered from his hand. 42 He will extend his power over many countries; Egypt will not escape. 43 He will gain control of the treasures of gold and silver and all the riches of Egypt, with the Libyans and Cushites in submission. (Daniel 11:39-43, NIV)

Technology would seem to have to be a factor in the ability of Europe to defeat the land with the mighiest fortresses–which in the 21st century is the USA.

The FAIR and the LHC projects are also likely to spin-off economic benefits that may help propel Europe to be (for a short while) the economic leader of the world (cf. Revelation 18). Ultimately, the Europeans will be overcome by what appears to be a Russian-led, mainly Asian, Eurasian confederation, cf. Jeremiah 50:41-43 & Daniel 11:44, possibly by exploiting some technological flaw, like creating a software virus, etc., while also amassing troops, etc.

The Large Hadron Collider is helping Europe get to the point it will have the technology it will need to temporarily ‘rule’ the world. There have been interesting developments from it so far and more are expected.

According to the Bible, Europe will become militarized (Revelation 13:4; Daniel 11:39-44) and the Large Hadron Collider certainly may be a factor in fulfilling biblical prophecies.
