Obama wants multilateralism: Does the Bible have a warning about that?

US President Obama called for more multilateralism today

U.S. President Barack Obama said that American isolationism is not an option, but not every problem has a military solution, during a speech in which he defined his foreign policy approach…

While the U.S. will use military force when the threat demands it, he said, global issues that don’t pose a direct threat to the U.S. should have to meet a higher threshold for military action.

“In such circumstances, we should not go it alone. Instead, we must mobilize allies and partners to take collective action. We must broaden our tools to include diplomacy and development; sanctions and isolation; appeals to international law and – if just, necessary, and effective – multilateral military action,” the president said. http://www.voanews.com/content/obama-to-defend-us-foreign-policy-in-west-point-speech/1924165.html

Multilateralism is the intended cooperation with ‘friends’ to accomplish objectives, some of which are military objectives.

Various leaders claims that the Europeans are the friends and allies of America and Britain, yet notice the following:

1 How lonely sits the city
That was full of people!
How like a widow is she,
Who was great among the nations!
The princess among the provinces
Has become a slave!

2 She weeps bitterly in the night,
Her tears are on her cheeks;
Among all her lovers
She has none to comfort her.
All her friends have dealt treacherously with her;
They have become her enemies. (Lamentations 1:1-2)

The USA and Great Britain (including its Anglo-Commonwealth members, like Australia and Canada) were “great among the nations.” And the Bible is clear that betrayal is coming from national FRIENDS!

The Bible has prophecies that show that certain leaders will make wrong decisions:

43 The alien who is among you shall rise higher and higher above you, and you shall come down lower and lower (Deuteronomy 28:43).

12 As for My people, children are their oppressors, And women rule over them. O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, And destroy the way of your paths.” (Isaiah 3:12)

10 ‘The bricks have fallen down, But we will rebuild with hewn stones; The sycamores are cut down, But we will replace them with cedars.” (Isaiah 9:10)

16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err, And those who are led by them are destroyed (Isaiah 9:16).

While multilateralism may sound nice to many, those in the leadership of the USA government do not understand biblical prophecy. This will not end well for the USA or its Anglo-Saxon allies per Daniel 11:39.
