Famous Atheist Actually an Agnostic

One regarded as a famous atheist made a major admission:

Richard Dawkins: I can’t be sure God does not exist

He is regarded as the most famous atheist in the world but last night Professor Richard Dawkins admitted he could not be sure that God does not exist.

Since humans have limited existence and have not been to all places in the universe at all times and, even if they could have, they do not have a way to conduct some type of instrument test to determine the existence or lack thereof of spiritual entities, it is absolutely illogical to be an atheist.

The Bible takes that a step further and teaches:

1 The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” (Psalms 53:1)

Now perhaps it should be mentioned that Professor Dawkins also claimed that he would prefer to be referred to as an agnostic and not an atheist (see http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/religion/9102740/Richard-Dawkins-I-cant-be-sure-God-does-not-exist.html). This is a rather interesting admission from one who wrote books with titles such as The God Delusion.

Now, while Professor Dawkins is correct that many have been deceived by false religion (which he indicates at times), the reality is that there is no rational scientific explanation for an infinite existence of matter, and hence the truth is that the existence of this physical creation as stands (including the known universe) demands that a non-physical entity that is not subject to decay, etc. did so.

And a physical creation by a Spiritual Being is, in fact, what happened. The Bible opens up with the following explanation:

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. ( Genesis 1:1)

And God did create the universe and does exist.

This post, at the beginning, shows a picture promoting a movie by Ben Stein that basically states that scientists who demonstrate the reality of the creation of the universe are often discriminated against and not allowed to remain professors (or advance) at many institutions. But the facts of science and biology support that idea that God does exist. And while Professor Dawkins still has his doubts about God, it is nice that he is publicly willing to admit that he can doubt atheism.
