Europeans Call American Debt Advice Hypocritical, Look Towards a Single Leader, and Make Major Defense Agreement

There is so much going on related to Europe that I decided to post about three items in the same post. Here is the first:

‘The US Is Hypocritical when It Lectures Europe’

Spiegel – June 20, 2012

Financial daily Handelsblatt writes:

“It is rather hypocritical when the Americans and the British, whose own mountains of debt have reached a high point, try to lecture the Europeans. One number is sufficient to reveal what a bad tactic this is. At a time when the budget deficits of the US and Great Britain are about 8 percent, the euro-zone members have almost managed to bring their deficits as a whole down to 3 percent.

The center-left Süddeutsche Zeitung writes:

“The euro crisis, which has a large destructive potential for the world economy, was reduced to a hiccup-sized problem in the summit declaration — for one simple reason: When it comes to economics alone, the Americans, the Chinese, the Japanese and the Brazilians are all mired in their own problems. This creates a situation in which one country is always the sinner and the others only get a mild rebuke for their own misdeeds.”

The center-right Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung writes:

“Despite a lot of dramatic words, the G-20 countries have for the time being postponed the rescue of the global economy. A few days before the next EU summit, the group of industrialized countries and developing nations have to powerlessly wait for what the Europeans will come up with now to save the euro.”

As I have long written, Europe does not have to be fiscally, economically, or financially perfect to become the world’s leading economic superpower. It only needs to be perceived to be in better shape that the USA or others. As the above points out, in many ways the Europeans are already way ahead of the USA Americans and Brits (who seem bent on increasing their debts at a more rapid pace than the Europeans have suggested that they will).

Many believe that Europe needs one leader to resolve their problem as this second item shows:

And while he, at most at this stage, can only aid with certain economic stability, the fact that many in Europe have been looking for an individual leader (cf. EU Plot to Put in Super Leader While Excluding the United Kingdom?) to solve the problems of Europe is consistent with biblical prophecy (cf. Daniel 11:21-44; Revelation 13:1-8).

Now the Bible tells of a military power arising in Europe (Revelation 13:4; Daniel 11:38-43). Steps to lay the groundwork for that and a European-wide defense system continue to be happening:

Europe def ministers agree on military coop

Defense ministers from six European nations have agreed to be represented in Brussels with one voice, Austrian Defense Minister Norbert Darabos said on Tuesday.The agreement was made in Frauenkirchen, Austria during talks on military cooperation attended by ministers from Hungary, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia and Austria, Xinhua news agency reported.”We have come to agreement in all areas. The Bible teaches that prior to the return of Jesus Christ that Europe will have problems (Daniel 2:41-43), ultimately become a real economic power (Revelation 18), restructure (Revelation 17:12), give its power to a leader called the Beast (Revelation 17:13), who is also the military-political leader called the King of the North in Daniel 11:38-43, and have issues with the Anglo-American power (cf. Daniel 11:39). The news items in this post are consistent with those biblical prophecies.
