Pope Francis calls for ‘new world order’ to follow COVID

Has the COVID-19 pandemic been a prelude to a new world order? Pope Francis publicly is saying so:
Pope Francis Calls for ‘New World Order’ After the Pandemic
ROME — Pope Francis insists in a new book things will never be the same in a post-pandemic world, calling instead for the establishment of a “new world order.”

This is not unexpected. Pope Francis has long been calling for something like that in his various encyclicals.

Instead, we can heal injustice by building a new world order based on solidarity, studying innovative methods to eradicate bullying, poverty and corruption, all working together, each for their own part, without delegating and passing the buck. The theme of the World Economic Forum’s 2021 meeting was the “great reset.” What is the great reset that Klaus Schwab wrote about in his June 2020 book, ‘COVID-19: The Great Reset’? World leaders such as Joe Biden, Justin Trudeau, Angela Merkel, Prince Charles, and Pope Francis have pushed for it. But leaders such as Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller, Vladimir Putin, and Jason Kenny have opposed it? Is it a conspiracy? Could the Freemasons, Vatican, and World Council of Churches be endorsing it? Is a great reset prophesied in the Bible? Should you support the humanitarian reset world leaders and academics are pushing? Could a major reset come after the start of the ride of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse and the sorrows that Jesus spoke of? Is this related to the rise of the Beast and the Antichrist? While Pope Francis favors a new world order and the idea of a great reset, some Roman Catholic leaders do see the reality that ideas like the great reset can lead to totalitarianism:

Cardinal Müller expressed sympathy for those sounding the alarm about the Great Reset and recalled that totalitarian systems “have always denigrated any criticism as conspiracy and subversion.”

Despite that, many Roman Catholics, Protestants, and others are pushing for the type of ecumenical and interfaith unity that the United Nations and the WEF want.
Furthermore, consider that the Bible shows that before a totalitarian leader gains control a major pandemic will hit:
7 When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see.” 8 So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth. (Revelation 6:7-8)
So, the opening of the fourth seal is the time that the pale horse of death is apparently increasing death by war, hunger, and pestilences (the beasts of the earth). AND ONE QUARTER OF HUMANS WILL DIE WITH PESTILENCE BEING A MAJOR FACTOR. This will set the planet up for a ‘new world order’ and what could be called a ‘great reset.’

Why might Europe be less affected by the ride of the third horseman that the US, Canada, and the UK? Are governments taking steps now, consistent with the words of Adolf Hitler? What seal represents the start of the Great Tribulation? Which Christians did Jesus promise to protect from the coming “hour of trial”?

The fourth seal is followed by the fifth seal–which is the start of the Great Tribulation and the totalitarian reign of the Beast and the Antichrist.
World leaders and world events are marching towards that.
Yet, there is good news.
About 3 1/2 years after the opening of the fifth seal, Jesus will return and establish the Kingdom of God.
Remember the words of the Apostle Paul:
11 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. 13 Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. (Romans 13:11-13)
The time is getting closer.
End time Christians need to wake up (cf. Matthew 25:1-13), but sadly, as Jesus indicated, most will not in time (cf. Revelation 3:14-18).
