Although the State of California has taken some actions against homeschoolers, not all is negative in the USA on this matter. A US judge has granted political asylum to homeschoolers from Germany:
German homeschoolers granted political asylum in USA German couple who fled to America so they could homeschool their children have been granted political asylum by a US immigration judge.
Hopefully, officials in Germany will re-look into this matter there.
