Ignoring church pleas, Barack Obama promotes homosexual agenda in Kenya. Is he fulfilling prophecy?

US President Barack Obama promoted his homosexual agenda in Kenya:

President Obama publicly disagreed with his Kenyan counterpart over gay rights today as he urged African nations not to discriminate against individuals based on sexual orientation.

The president made the remarks at a news conference he held with Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta, who called gay rights in his country a “non-issue.” Obama discussed the subject on his first full day in Kenya while drawing on his own background as an African-American in the U.S.

“If somebody is a law-abiding citizen who is going about their business and working in a job and obeying the traffic signs and doing all the other things that good citizens are supposed to do and not harming anybody, the idea that they are going to be treated differently or abused because of who they love is wrong,” Obama said.

Shortly after, Kenyatta said while the U.S. and Kenya share many values, gay rights is an issue on which the two countries disagree.

“There are some things that we must agree we don’t share,” he said. “Our culture, our societies don’t accept [homosexuality].”

Kenyatta added it was difficult to impose beliefs on the Kenyan people that they “do not accept.”

“This issue is not really an issue that is on the foremost mind of Kenyans and that is a fact,” he said.

While the U.S. has made strides on gay rights issues, most recently with the Supreme Court‘s decision on same-sex marriage, many countries in Africa, including Kenya, hold more conservative views. Same sex relations are still illegal in Kenya and Ethiopia, where the president will travel on Sunday.

Last week, I saw people from various churches in Kenya demonstrating that they did not want US President Obama to bring up his homosexual agenda when he visited. He obviously ignored their pleas. He is only in Kenya a couple of days, and one would think he could have respected the culture there enough to not bring it up.

Barack Obama recently praised a deal that took years to negotiate with Iran, a country with strong anti-homosexual practices, and I do not recall Barack Obama making any reference to Iranian leaders that they should adopt some of his homosexual agenda.

It is a shame to all in the USA when a president thinks he must promote something that the Bible condemns.

Anyway, as it turns out Barack Obama’s father was a Luo Kenyan. The Luo number in the millions and most live in the poorer western region of Kenya (some in Uganda and Tanzania as well).

A significant number of members in the Continuing Church of God are Luo. Because of that, we also produce literature in their native language (see, for example, Wheche Manyien Mokor E Muma).

Since I wrote a book warning about some of Barack Obama’s policies, I had wondered if that would turn the Luo off on the Continuing Church of God. However, as the church people there realize that Barack Obama holds anti-biblical values, the book helped increase support amongst the Luo for the Continuing Church of God.

One item in the book, in particular, was pointed out to me by CCOG Pastor Evans Ochieng (who is also Luo). In my book I mentioned that there is claimed to be a 1912 prophecy by Johanwa Owalo, the founder of Kenya’s Nomiya Luo Church, about the United States:

“So far have they [the United States] strayed into wickedness in those [future] times that their destruction has been sealed by my [father]. Their great cities will burn, their crops and cattle will suffer disease and death, their children will perish from diseases never seen upon this Earth, and I reveal to you the greatest [mystery] of all as I have been allowed to see that their [the United States] destruction will come about through the vengeful hands of one of our very own sons.”:

Pastor Ochieng was surprised that I as a Westerner had known about this. It is not that he or I felt that the above had to be fulfilled as it does not come directly from the Bible–yet he and I both had seen steps that Barack Obama had taken that biblically would be expected to lead to the destruction of the USA. Barack Obama has been considered by many as one who could fulfill that Kenyan prophecy, which is how I heard of it in the first place.

Never before has a son of a Kenyan had as much power as Barack Obama. And of course, his positions on abortion and homosexuality are wicked. Barack Obama’s practices related to debt are leading to the eventual destruction of the USA (cf. Habakkuk 2:6-8). Barack Obama’s practices and policies related to Europe will lead to destructive warfare, that the USA will lose (Daniel 11:39). In many ways, the USA has strayed into wickedness.

Many Kenyans, inside and outside of the Church of God, have serious concerns about Barack Obama’s position on many issues of morality. They consider some of his positions wicked, immoral, and wrong.

The Bible warns:

43 The alien who is among you shall rise higher and higher above you, and you shall come down lower and lower (Deuteronomy 28:43).

12 As for My people, children are their oppressors, And women rule over them. O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, And destroy the way of your paths.” (Isaiah 3:12)

16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err, And those who are led by them are destroyed (Isaiah 9:16).

And sadly, Barack Obama is fulfilling parts of those prophecies.

The following passages of scripture, written nearly two thousand years ago, warn against the practice and condoning of homosexuality and lesbianism, and it considers them as a form of wickedness:

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man — and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. (Romans 1:18-32)

The Bible is in opposition to those that condone homosexual behaviour, which is what Barack Obama wants the people and government of Kenya to do.

Barack Obama had the opportunity to simply meet with the Kenyans on areas of mutual interest and agreement, like those related to economics and terrorism.

Instead, he went beyond that to intentionally promoting wickedness (see also Jeremiah 23:1, 11-14, 32). This does not bode well for the USA. Hopefully, those in the government of Kenya will continue to resist the wickedness that Barack Obama is promoting.
