Cloud seeding and flooding in Texas
Cloud seeding (from via Wikipedia)
Over 100 reportedly have drown from the flood in Texas:
8 July 2025
The death toll from the flash floods that struck central Texas on Friday has climbed to at least 105, according to CNN, after surpassing 100 late on Monday. The majority of those killed were in Kerr county, where 84 people, including 28 children, have died. Many were at Camp Mystic when flooding struck early on the Fourth of July. The death toll is expected to rise further as search efforts continue into a fifth day.
Here’s a breakdown of the deaths recorded so far by county:
84 deaths in Kerr County
7 deaths in Travis County
5 deaths in Burnet County
6 deaths in Kendall County
2 deaths in Williamson County
1 death in Tom Green County https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/live/2025/jul/08/texas-floods-search-efforts-fifth-day-death-toll-latest-news-updates
Others are still missing–and likely most of them are dead.
Some have wondered if cloud seeding could have been involved.
Cloud seeding is something that has been used in many parts of the world.
Cloud seeding is a type of weather modification that aims to change the amount or type of precipitation, mitigate hail, or disperse fog. The usual objective is to increase rain or snow, either for its own sake or to prevent precipitation from occurring in days afterward.
Cloud seeding is undertaken by dispersing substances into the air that serve as cloud condensation or ice nuclei. Common agents include silver iodide, potassium iodide, and dry ice, with hygroscopic materials like table salt gaining popularity due to their ability to attract moisture. Techniques vary from static seeding, which encourages ice particle formation in supercooled clouds to increase precipitation, to dynamic seeding, designed to enhance convective cloud development through the release of latent heat.
Methods of dispersion include aircraft and ground-based generators, with newer approaches involving drones delivering electric charges to stimulate rainfall, or infrared laser pulses aimed at inducing particle formation. (Cloud seeding. Wikipedia, accessed 07/08/25)
Various ones are concerned about it:
A small contingent of lawmakers are blaming silver iodide for extreme weather events, including the disastrous flooding in Texas, but at least they’re getting closer to the truth.
July 8, 2025
On Saturday, with the waters still receding from deadly flooding in Texas, Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia posted that she would be introducing a bill to ban the “dangerous and deadly practice of weather modification.” Greene said the bill would be similar to Florida’s recently passed Senate Bill 56, which imposes up to a $100,000 fine and a possible five-year prison sentence for “geoengineering” practices such as cloud-seeding. Far from nefarious, scientists in states across the U.S. have been using cloud-seeding — the dispersal of tiny silver iodide crystals — to encourage rain and snow in drought-ridden areas for decades.
I am introducing a bill that prohibits the injection, release, or dispersion of chemicals or substances into the atmosphere for the express purpose of altering weather, temperature, climate, or sunlight intensity. It will be a felony offense.
I have been researching weather…
— Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene🇺🇸 (@RepMTG) July 5, 2025
Although Greene didn’t tie the proposed bill to the floods that have left at least 104 dead or missing across six Texas counties since Friday, neither did the timing of her announcement feel exactly coincidental. A Republican running for another House seat in Georgia, Kandiss Taylor, went further in X posts on Saturday that claimed that both the Texas floods and Hurricane Helene were caused by “cloud seeding, geoengineering & manipulation,” calling it “fake weather” that amounted to “murder.” Similar misinformation was amplified on social media by MAGA figures like President Donald Trump’s former national security advisor Michael Flynn.
Greene and Taylor are echoing claims made by a small but growing contingent of Republican lawmakers who are increasingly pointing to an alternative theory for extreme weather events too frequent to ignore. Last year, Tennessee became the first state to ban geoengineering, with some legislators making comments during debate that sounded like old conspiracy theories about plane contrails. In April, the Florida Senate passed a ban on weather modification that Greene highlighted, while lawmakers in Arizona, Kentucky, Texas and Pennsylvania have also proposed legislation. https://www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnbc-opinion/climate-change-weather-modification-geoengineering-bans-rcna217250
Michael Snyder was even more direct in his condemnation of cloud seeding:
This Is Going To Keep Happening As Long As They Keep Artificially Modifying The Weather
July 7, 2025
It should be illegal for anyone to artificially modify the weather. That is something that we should all be able to agree on. Unfortunately, as you will see below, it has now come out that this has been happening all over the western half of the United States. In fact, cloud seeding operations were being conducted in Texas just two days before horrific flooding killed a whole bunch of innocent children. The information that I am going to share with you in this article is explosive, and I hope that you will share it with as many people as you can.
The company that has been conducting cloud seeding operations in Texas is called Rainmaker Technology.
Rainmaker Technology CEO Augustus Doricko is claiming that his company had nothing to do with the recent flooding because his company did not do any cloud seeding in Texas on July 3rd or July 4th. But he is admitting that his company was doing cloud seeding in Texas on July 2nd…
Overnight from July 3rd – 4th, moisture surged into the Hill Country from the Pacific as remnants of Tropical Storm Barry moved across the region. At 1:00 a.m. on July 4th, the National Weather Service (NWS), which we work closely with to maintain awareness of severe weather systems, issued a flash flood warning for San Angelo, Texas. Note, summer convective cloud seeding operations in Texas do not occur during overnight hours. At 4:00 a.m. on July 4th, the NWS issued a life-threatening emergency warning, and flooding ensued.
Did Rainmaker conduct any operations that could have impacted the floods? No. The last seeding mission prior to the July 4th event was during the early afternoon of July 2nd, when a brief cloud seeding mission was flown over the eastern portions of south-central Texas, and two clouds were seeded. These clouds persisted for about two hours after seeding before dissipating between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. CDT. Natural clouds typically have lifespans of 30 minutes to a few hours at most, with even the most persistent storm systems rarely maintaining the same cloud structure for more than 12-18 hours. The clouds that were seeded on July 2nd dissipated over 24 hours prior to the developing storm complex that would produce the flooding rainfall.
A senior meteorologist observed an unusually high moisture content prior to the event’s arrival, using NWS sounding data. It was at this point that our meteorologists determined that we would suspend future operations indefinitely. As you can see, we suspended operations on July 2nd, a day before the NWS issued any flood warning.
This is a bombshell.
We don’t want people seeding our clouds.
This should be illegal.
It turns out that Rainmaker Technology CEO Augustus Doricko is just 25 years old, and his company has been heavily funded by billionaire Peter Thiel…
Whoever approved cloud seeding operations in Texas needs to resign immediately.
But this isn’t just happening in Texas.
In fact, according to the official website of the North American Weather Modification Council, most states in the western half of the nation are actively conducting cloud seeding operations…
Yes, there have been storms and floods all throughout history.
But what we are witnessing now is not even close to normal.
Those that have been messing with the weather should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. We live at a time when major apocalyptic disasters are happening all around us, and they are making things even worse.
Those that are “playing God” by modifying our weather belong in prison. https://endoftheamericandream.com/this-is-going-to-keep-happening-as-long-as-they-keep-artificially-modifying-the-weather/
BTW, I do not know Peter Thiel. Nor am I at all closely related to him–though with the same last name, there probably was some type of connection long ago.
The scientific reality is that we do not know all the indirect effects of human weather modifications.
Yet, the mainstream and many scientists vainly act like we humans do.
That is foolish and dangerous.
Irrespective of whether or not cloud seeding, directly or indirectly, was involved in the Texas flooding (and that is something we likely will never know with true certainty in this age), those affected are in my prayers.
