Wise is facing an investigation in Europe related to possible criminal usage of its services.
So, “the crime” that Wise supposedly may have committed is that they did not notice that some of the many who use its service have not stopped enough transactions. Transactions that were not necessarily for anything improper.
Biblically, we know from scripture that Europe will have a controlled currency (Revelation 13:16-18).
Europe has long been in the process of putting together what may become the enforcer of controlling buying and selling. We put together the following video related to that back in 2019:
The European Union is in the process of establishing the European Public Prosecutor’s Office. This is a major, first-of-its-kind move, with the EU setting up a European-wide prosecutor’s office that will have power to investigate and charge people for financial crimes committed against the EU. It looks like this type of office may end up persecuting those that do not have the mark of the Beast when they “buy or sell” as that will later be considered a financial crime in Europe. What does 666 mean? How has that name be calculated? How can we be certain that this is a prophecy for Europe and not Islam? Is the appointment of this new office of significant prophetic importance? Dr. Thiel addresses these issues and more by pointing to scriptures, news items, and historical accounts.

The European Public Prosecutor’s Office officially started operations on 1 June 2021 (https://www.eppo.europa.eu/en/background).
So, that office is already starting to prosecute the “crimes” of making various cash or crypto payments.

Under the guise of fighting money laundering, the EU is making anonymous economic activity progressively harder…
Starting in July 2027, Europeans will no longer be allowed to pay businesses or professionals more than €10,000 in cash (roughly $11,500). Any transaction above €3,000 (just under $3,500) will require mandatory customer identification. This is another step toward political uniformity across Europe, stripping countries of autonomy and subtly pushing citizens toward the digital euro.
This measure, part of the new Anti-Money Laundering Regulation (AMLR), applies directly to all Member States. Under the pretext of fighting money laundering, Brussels is imposing yet another form of forced harmonization that ignores the principle of subsidiarity: the idea that decisions should be made at the level closest to citizens and national governments.
What was once a matter regulated by individual countries is now becoming a uniform mandate from Brussels.
This is a thinly disguised restriction not only on political freedom, but above all on economic freedom. Cash remains one of the last truly private means of exchange still available; unlike digital transactions, cash does not automatically create a centralized record accessible to banks or public authorities. …
It is difficult to believe that it is mere coincidence that these restrictions are scheduled to take effect in July 2027 at roughly the same time the European Central Bank (ECB) plans to launch the first pilots of the digital euro. Cash becomes inconvenient and potentially risky at the same time digital money is presented as the practical alternative.
Once the principle is established that the state can limit private cash transactions, there is a strong tendency for those limits to become progressively stricter. European countries themselves demonstrated this pattern when they still controlled these rules nationally. Belgium, for example, steadily lowered its cash payment ceiling over the years to the current €3,000.
The most likely outcome is that the new European-wide limit of €10,000, which may seem relatively high today, will gradually be reduced further until using cash for most significant transactions becomes impractical. In reality, the vast majority of cash transactions are already well below this threshold. …
The digital euro, presented as a complement to cash, will arrive at a moment when cash has already been substantially weakened. More ‘666’ moves will happen!

This type of financial surveillance could not have happened during the time of the Apostle John as there was no real way to monitor many financial transactions then (despite the fact that ‘preterists’ believe this was fulfilled almost 2000 years ago, see also The Dangerous Rise of Preterists). The same was true for all the centuries that followed until the late 20th and now the 21st century. But now not only does the technology exist to monitor most financial transactions, the political will is there as well.
It will be a European power that will fulfill the above prophecy of 666 (watch Can You Prove that the Beast to Come is European?).
It will likely take supercomputers aided with artificial intelligence to aid in the fulfillment of the scriptures in Revelation 13:15-18, as well as cyber-spying/monitoring. I do believe that cyber monitoring will be used by the European Beast, King of the North, 666 power.
We are seeing a move to digital/electronic money. …
Knowledge and monitoring of financial transactions is greatly increasing — supercomputers may be able to better monitor more economic activity as well as reverse engineer things like Bitcoin.
Europe has claimed that it will be the dominant force in cryptocurrency. A supercomputer may be able to trace all owners and users, as well as even decode blockchain technology.
The Europeans, themselves, will continue to push for a CBDC or other type of digital currency.
Many within BRICS will push for a CBDC or other form of digital currency.
While 2026 will not see a cashless world, expect to see more movements towards monitorable payments.
Expect to see more steps related to Central Bank Digital Currencies in 2026.
Going completely cashless to a monitorable CBDC or other digital currency is not clearly in the interest of the public.
