TWSPs Coming to New Zealand and Australia

Dr. Douglas Winnail

COGwriter

In his latest update, LCG’s Dr. Douglas Winnail had the following:

Next Tuesday, I will head to New Zealand and Australia to give TWSPs in Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth before heading on to South Africa and then back to Charlotte. Your prayers for all these efforts to serve God’s people and preach the Gospel will be much appreciated!

TWSPs stands for Tomorrow’s World Special Presentations.  Essentially, these are public lectures on matters of biblical doctrine and prophecy–they have proven to be a great tool in spreading Christ’s gospel of the kingdom to the world as a witness (Matthew 24:14).  Subscribers to Tomorrow’s World magazine are invited to attend them.  And for most of the non-LCG member attendees, this is their first exposure to actually meeting people in the Living Church of God.  It has been a fairly effective way to multiply the impact of the Tomorrow’s World telecast and magazine:

In 2010, Living Church of God ministers conducted 102 Tomorrow’s World special presentations (TWSPs) in the United States, Canada, the Caribbean and parts of Europe and Africa. Along with thousands of you brethren and co-workers, more than 3,400 new visitors came to these presentations, where they heard the Gospel preached with power. (Ames R. Co-Worker Letter, January 14, 2011).

Considering that LCG has about 8,000 brethren, having 3,400 outsiders attending the TWSPs in 2010 seems significant to me, at least.  It is great that there will also be TWSPs in Australia and New Zealand, apparently beginning within a week.

Armstrong expect from evangelists?
Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel Are the Americans, Canadians, British, Scottish, Welsh, Australians, Anglo (non-Dutch) Southern Africans, and New Zealanders descendants of Joseph? Will the Anglo-Nations be Divided and Have People Taken as Slaves? Will the lands of the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand be divided? What about Jerusalem? What does Bible prophecy teach? Are there non-biblical prophecies that support this idea? Who will divide those lands? Who will end up with the lands and the people?
There are Many COGs: Why Support the Living Church of God? This is an article for those who wish to more easily sort out the different COGs. It really should be a MUST READ for current and former WCG/GCI members or any interested in supporting the faithful church. It also explains a lot of what the COGs are all about.
