There is much optimism related to Donald Trump’s deal between Hamas and Israel.
Notice the following:

#2 Hamas has confirmed that the war is over. The leader of Hamas in Gaza, Khalil al-Hayya, is pledging to “work with all national and Islamic forces to complete the next steps”…
Al-Hayya said Hamas had “dealt responsibly with the American president’s plan” and submitted a response “that serves our people and prevents further bloodshed.” He added that the agreement marks “the end of the war and the aggression against the Palestinian people, and the start of implementing a permanent cease-fire.”
“The deal includes the entry of humanitarian aid, the opening of the Rafah crossing, and the exchange of prisoners,” al-Hayya said. “We received guarantees from the mediators and from the U.S. administration, and everyone confirmed that the war has completely ended. We will continue to work with all national and Islamic forces to complete the next steps.”

Yet, the Bible prophesies:
10 “Because, indeed, because they have seduced My people, saying, ‘Peace!’ when there is no peace — and one builds a wall, and they plaster it with untempered mortar — 11 say to those who plaster it with untempered mortar, that it will fall. There will be flooding rain, and you, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall tear it down. 12 Surely, when the wall has fallen, will it not be said to you, ‘Where is the mortar with which you plastered it?’” (Ezekiel 13:10-12)
Now, this deal will basically be positive for the released Israeli hostages and their families. As well as for many in Gaza.

As Israelis celebrate the promised return of the hostages from Gaza and the end to a painful two years of war, the joy is bittersweet as the price of this deal with the devil becomes clear. Not all the details of Trump’s 20-point plan to end the war have been finalized or made public. Hamas submitted names to Israel, and the Prime Minister’s Office responded with minor revisions.
A top official within Hamas told AFP that Israel would release nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners in exchange for around 20 living hostages as part of the deal. The figure includes 250 terror convicts out of 270 currently serving life sentences for murdering Israelis over the past four decades. Roughly 40 convicted terrorists will remain behind bars. Israel will also return 15 Palestinian bodies for every one it receives, which is expected to total the bodies of 360 terrorists. Israel will release 1,700 residents of the Gaza Strip who were not involved in the Hamas-led Oct. 7 massacre and were arrested after that date, as well as 22 minors from Gaza who were not implicated in the attacks and were detained later. …
Terror groups in Gaza are holding 48 hostages, including 47 of the 251 abducted by Hamas terrorists and Gazans on October 7. They include the bodies of at least 26 confirmed dead by the IDF. Twenty are believed to be alive, and grave concerns remain for the well-being of two others. Among the bodies held by Hamas is an IDF soldier killed in Gaza in 2014.
Jihad A-Karim Azziz Rom, a terrorist who participated in the lynching of IDF reservists Vadim Norzitch and Yosef Avrahami in 2000 and the abduction and murder of Yuri Gushchin in 2001, is set to be released as part of the Gaza peace deal.
Also set to be released is Raad Sheikh, a Palestinian police officer, who took part in the 2000 lynching. The PA policeman beat Norzitch to death with an iron bar. Yes, there are concerns. Notice the following prophecies:
5 They have corrupted themselves; They are not His children, Because of their blemish: A perverse and crooked generation. … 25 The sword shall destroy outside; There shall be terror within (Deuteronomy 32:5,25)
12 “Cry and wail, son of man; For it will be against My people, Against all the princes of Israel. Terrors including the sword will be against My people; Therefore strike your thigh. (Ezekiel 21:12)
12 The Syrians before and the Philistines behind; And they shall devour Israel with an open mouth. (Isaiah 9:12)
Terrors looks to involve at least some Palestinians, such as those who could be involved with groups like Hamas.
There are concerns about Hamas in this deal. Even the Hamas leader’s statements quoted show his concern is for Hamas–he did not renounce future terrorism.
Consider that if prior to the 2023 attack, the Hamas leadership in Gaza wanted to simply live in peace, the focus of the government there would have been economic prosperity, investing in things like irrigation for agriculture and tourist infrastructure. Instead, Hamas ran the place and its focus was on trying to figure out how to eliminate Jews from Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank of the Jordan river. Its extensive production of tunnels, to cite one example, shows that civic community benefits were not its focus. Preparing for its 2023 attack, however, was.

Hamas does not want all its supporters destroyed, but many doubt that it has changed its objectives. It wants Israel gone and Jews out of the area. It does not want to leave the area itself.
When protesters chant “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” that is a Hamas adopted slogan that means that the area from the Jordan river to the Mediterranean Sea is to be Palestinian and not Israeli.

Israel did not eliminate Hamas as it stated it would.
There will be no permanent peace in the Middle East before Jesus returns.
