  • The jury told Judge William Sullivan it was hopelessly deadlocked in the murder trial of Clancy, who killed her three young children — Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months — at their home in Massachusetts before she tried to kill herself in January 2023.
  • Clancy’s lawyer stepped in at the last minute and said he wanted to appeal to a higher court. The judge granted him one hour to do so, but the top court in Massachusetts declined the appeal.
  • Jurors were deliberating over charges of first-degree murder — involving “deliberate premeditation and extreme atrocity” — with the option to consider lesser manslaughter charges.
  • Clancy’s mental health is a key issue. Joe Rogan has had enough of the women lining up outside a Massachusetts courthouse in pink to cheer a mother who strangled her three children to death.

Sitting with comedian Brian Simpson, he refused to accept the “Free Lindsay” spectacle as a mental-health awareness campaign.

He treated it as a grotesque inversion of basic human instinct: hundreds of adults, overwhelmingly women, performing solidarity with a child murderer.

“If those ladies could see the crime scene and see those dead kids with their vacant eyes staring up because their mother took their life, the last thing that they saw was their mother standing over them, choking them to death, I don’t think they would feel so bad,” he said.

“People are out of their mind. People are showing up in support of a woman who killed her children. I don’t care how rough it was. The ability to kill your children is crazy,” Rogan further urged.

“Anyone who has kids knows how much you love them, what you would do to save them, what you do to protect them from harm,” he added.

Rogan suggested to imagine if a single father had done the same thing. “He wouldn’t get this same sympathy.” And if Lindsay Clancy is found not criminally responsible and walks, “her supporters should have to let her babysit.”

Killing one’s children is wrong.

These murders were actually planned and then executed.

Claiming post-partum depression as a defense does not excuse these terrible murders.

But, Lindsay Clancy is in Massachusetts. A state whose governor last month signed a bill legalizing abortion up to the time of delivery — many cheered her on for this (see https://www.mass.gov/news/governor-healey-signs-legislation-strengthening-abortion-protections-in-massachusetts).

Abortion is wrong.

Abortion is not about women’s rights.

It is not the pregnant woman’s body, but another life that is getting killed.

Intentionally murdering someone is a choice murderers do, but it is not a human right.

Nor is it the right of one with claimed or actual post-partum depression to murder children (or anyone else).

The sixth commandment, from the Book of Exodus, states:

13 “You shall not murder. (Exodus 20:13, NKJV throughout unless otherwise noted)

What Lindsay Clancy did was murder.

The fact that part of the woke abortionist crowd seems to approve of her defense does not make it right.

Make sense of it?

What Lindsay Clancy did was evil, yet many want to pretend otherwise–but should not.

Remember the Bible teaches:

2 You shall not follow a crowd to do evil; (Exodus 23:2)

It looks like the lone holdout juror saw her criminal guilt, and he did not follow the crowd.

The Apostle Paul warned:

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. (2 Timothy 3:1-7, KJV)

Lindsay Clancy was not displaying natural affection when she murdered her children. In the approximately 50% pro-abortion American society, they have little difficulty with murdering children.

The biblical penalty for murder was the death penalty:

12 “He who strikes a man so that he dies shall surely be put to death. … 14 “But if a man acts with premeditation against his neighbor, to kill him by treachery, you shall take him from My altar, that he may die. (Exodus 21:12,14)

But there was an exception for accidentally causing death:

9 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 10 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you cross the Jordan into the land of Canaan, 11 then you shall appoint cities to be cities of refuge for you, that the manslayer who kills any person accidentally may flee there. 12 They shall be cities of refuge for you from the avenger, that the manslayer may not die until he stands before the congregation in judgment. 13 And of the cities which you give, you shall have six cities of refuge. 14 You shall appoint three cities on this side of the Jordan, and three cities you shall appoint in the land of Canaan, which will be cities of refuge. 15 These six cities shall be for refuge for the children of Israel, for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them, that anyone who kills a person accidentally may flee there.

16 ‘But if he strikes him with an iron implement, so that he dies, he is a murderer; the murderer shall surely be put to death. 17 And if he strikes him with a stone in the hand, by which one could die, and he does die, he is a murderer; the murderer shall surely be put to death. 18 Or if he strikes him with a wooden hand weapon, by which one could die, and he does die, he is a murderer; the murderer shall surely be put to death. (Numbers 35:9-18)

By her own admission, what Lindsay Clancy did was not accidental.

Strangulation is not an accidental act.

It is sad that a jury could not agree that Lindsay Clancy was clearly a murderer.

UPDATE 09/05/26: Apparently, another mother was motivated to murder her two-year old because of Lindsay Clancy:

Illinois Mom Accused of Killing 2-Year-Old Son After Becoming ‘Invested’ in Lindsay Clancy Case

An Illinois mother is accused of killing her toddler shortly after texting friends about Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial.

Corie A. Walsh, 40, was charged with three counts of first-degree murder on Tuesday, Sept. 1, according to online court records viewed by PEOPLE.

The charges are in connection with the death of her 2-year-old son, Barrett Walsh, NBC Chicago, ABC 7 Chicago, and Fox News reported, citing court documents. …

After Barrett was located, responding officers found Walsh upstairs in a bathtub with non-life-threatening knife wounds that were believed to be self-inflicted.

Witnesses later reportedly told police that Walsh “had recently become very invested in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial,” and that she had been “actively discussing” the case in a group text message hours before the alleged killing, NBC Chicago reported. https://people.com/illinois-mom-accused-of-killing-2-year-old-son-after-becoming-invested-in-lindsay-clancy-case-12108827

So, according to the above, Corie A. Walsh was following the Lindsay Clancy case, decided to kill her son, than injured herself (though in a different way than Lindsay Clancy injured herself).

Lindsay Clancy has not set a fine example.

Murder remains wrong.
