WND: ‘Striking’ number of Christians say Jesus isn’t only way to salvation

The Apostle Peter taught that salvation was only possible through Jesus:

8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers of the people and elders of Israel: 9 If we this day are judged for a good deed done to a helpless man, by what means he has been made well, 10 let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole. 11 This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’ 12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:7-12, NKJV throughout unless otherwise specified)

In light of that, consider something that World Net Daily posted:

‘Striking’ number of Christians say Jesus isn’t only way to salvation

More than 60% of born again Christians in America between the ages of 18 and 39 believe that Buddha, Muhammad and Jesus are all valid paths to salvation and over 30% say they either believe that Jesus sinned just like other people when He lived on Earth or aren’t sure, according to a new study. …

The study, which interviewed 3,100 Americans ages 18 to 55 … 08/23/21 https://www.wnd.com/2021/08/striking-number-christians-say-jesus-isnt-way-salvation/

The trend for Protestants to move further and further away from biblical beliefs keeps happening.

Apparently, the 60% mentioned do not believe Jesus when He said:

6 … I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.  (John 14:6)

Furthermore, the New Testament also teaches:

14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:14-16)

To believe otherwise is blasphemous.

Of course, since many Protestants erroneously believe one does not need to obey the God of the Bible for salvation, it is little surprise that more and more feel that other false routes also lead to salvation. As far as obedience and salvation go, all should pay attention to the following New Testament scriptures:

29 But Peter and the apostles answered and said, “We are obligated to obey God rather than men. 30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus Whom you killed by hanging Him on a tree. 31 Him has God exalted by His right hand to be a Prince and Savior, to give repentance and remission of sins to Israel. 32 And we are His witnesses of these things, as is also the Holy Spirit, which God has given to those who obey Him.” (Acts 5:29-32, A Faithful Version)

9 … He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, (Hebrews 5:9)

Yes, while salvation is a free gift, obedience is necessary according to scripture.

That being said, many around the world are being seduced by the false interfaith and ecumenical messages that the Vatican, World Council of Churches, the United Nations, Freemasons, and many others have been promoting. Here are links to information related to them:

The fact that 60% of the supposedly born-again American crowd already accepts this is disturbing.

Having studied the Bible, as well as information about Buddha and Muhammad, there is no way a real Christian can accept that Buddhism or Islam bring salvation. Both of those faiths are also mentioned in the free online book: The MYSTERY of GOD’s PLAN: Why Did God Create Anything? Why Did God Make You?

But, it is not just the 60% that have rejected biblical truth about salvation.

Wrong beliefs about salvation are ‘fundamental’ to Protestantism.

If you are Protestant and believe that your faith is truly based on the Bible, sola Scriptura as the Protestant reformer Martin Luther claimed, I challenge you to read and study  the following free online book, including the scriptures quoted in it, titled: Hope of Salvation: How the Continuing Church of God Differs from Protestantism.
