For many years, I have raised concerns about health risks associated with wireless technologies.
Another study has confirmed health risk connections:
Study Reports Millions of Adults Link Wireless Radiation to Health Symptoms
March 24, 2026
Survey findings across the U.S., Australia, and Canada indicate a significant share of adults report health effects associated with wireless exposure.
A peer-reviewed study analyzing nationally representative survey data found that approximately one in eight adults in the United States report experiencing health effects they attribute to wireless radiation, …
The research included 3,475 adults surveyed across the United States, Australia, and Canada. Results indicated that about one in six adults in Australia and one in thirteen in Canada also reported negative health effects tied to wireless exposure.
Researchers estimated that more than 26 million adults across the three countries may be experiencing symptoms linked to wireless radiation exposure. The survey further showed that 10.1% of U.S. respondents, 14.9% of Australians, and 5.0% of Canadians reported receiving a medical diagnosis related to sensitivity.
Anne Steinemann, Ph.D., a co-author of the study, said in a press release that individuals frequently report symptoms near sources of electromagnetic radiation, including cell towers, cellphones and wireless networks.
She identified the condition, referred to as EMR Syndrome, as diagnosable, noting the study aimed to determine how widespread it may be. Across all respondents, roughly 14% reported either symptoms or a diagnosis.
The analysis also identified demographic trends, with the highest reporting rates among males ages 25 to 34.
Here is a link to the study: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S3050475926002745 Below is the Abstract of the study:
Abstract
Wireless radiation—such as from cell phones, Wi-Fi, smart meters, laptops, and cell towers—is pervasive in society. Wireless sensitivity is the condition of adverse health effects from exposure to wireless radiation. This study investigates the prevalence of wireless sensitivity, and the medical diagnosis of electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS), in the general population of three countries: the United States (US), Australia (AU), and Canada (CA). It also investigates the prevalence of wireless sensitivity/EHS with co-morbid conditions: chemical sensitivity/multiple chemical sensitivities (MCS), asthma/asthma-related conditions (ARCs), autism/autism spectrum disorders (ASDs), and fragrance sensitivity. Nationally representative population-based data were collected in February 2022 (US, AU) and May 2022 (CA) through online surveys of adults [n=3,475 (1,271; 1,104; 1,100) US, AU, CA, respectively]. The study found that, across the general population, 12.6% reported wireless sensitivity (12.8%, 17.4%, 7.5%), 10.0% reported medically diagnosed electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS) (10.1%, 14.9%, 5.0%), and 14.0% reported either or both (14.3%, 18.9%, 8.7%). Among all gender and age categories, males ages 25 to 34 reported the highest prevalence proportionally. In addition, among those with wireless sensitivity/EHS, 80.6% also reported chemical sensitivity/MCS, 73.2% reported asthma/ARCs, 53.8% reported autism/ASDs, and 84.8% reported fragrance sensitivity. Given these results, across the three countries, over 26 million adults would experience health problems from wireless radiation. Results underscore the need for further research on ways to prevent and reduce exposures and associated adverse effects.
The realization that there are health risks is not new.
Dr. Mercola put out the following back in the Summer of 2024:
July 1, 2024
- Several studies published between 2022 and 2024 underscore the health risks posed by 5G technology
- Research contradicts the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection guidelines, demonstrating various harmful biological effects of radiofrequency radiation (RFR) on humans and the environment, including potential cancer risk
- Studies reveal 5G’s potential to induce neurological damage and psychiatric problems, highlighting its effects on brain development, including the increased risk of conditions like dementia through mechanisms such as the impairment of neurosin
- A December 2023 study illustrates the detrimental effects of 5G RFR on rat sperm, showing decreased sperm count and quality, with melatonin offering a protective effect
- February 2024 research indicates significant changes in the fecal microbiome and metabolome profiles in mice exposed to 5G RFR, hinting at broader implications for health, including mental well-being and immune function …
While the wireless industry is built on the premise that the only type of radiation capable of causing harm is ionizing — X-rays being one example — researchers have for a long time warned that even nonionizing and non-heating radiation can jeopardize your health. This includes not only human health, but also that of plants and animals.
Over time, I became so convinced of the deleterious effects of EMF, I took three years to write “EMF*D” which was published in 2020. In it, I reviewed the overwhelming evidence showing EMFs are a hidden health hazard that simply cannot be ignored any longer.
During the pandemic, we also witnessed the rollout and installation of 5G across the country, which has exponentially increased exposures, as it’s added on top of the already existing wireless infrastructure.
The first of these, published in September 2022 in the journal Reviews on Environmental Health,2 provides a good overview of the hazards 5G poses. The authors pointed out that, since September 2017, over 400 scientists and doctors have collectively submitted six appeals to the European Union, calling for a moratorium on 5G technology. All have been ignored.
The September 2021 appeal included an “extensive cover letter” in which experts argued that the EU’s reliance on guidelines by the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) places public health at risk because the guidelines only consider “heating and no other health relevant biological effects from RFR.”
The letter countered the ICNIRP’s guidance with research from European and international expert groups detailing myriad adverse biological effects of RFR on humans and the environment. According to the authors:3
“Evidence to establish this position is drawn from studies showing changes to neurotransmitters and receptors, damage to cells, proteins, DNA, sperm, the immune system, and human health, including cancer.
The 2021 Appeal goes on to warn that 5G signals are likely to additionally alter the behavior of oxygen and water molecules at the quantum level, unfold proteins, damage skin, and cause harm to insects, birds, frogs, plants and animals.”
Under the subhead “Great Plans, Great Promises but False Claims,” the authors go on to highlight the government’s own findings:
“… the potential health and safety risks associated with RFR have been exposed in a recent EU-commissioned review of the currently available scientific evidence, the 2021 European Parliamentary Research Service’s EPRS/STOA Health impact of 5G report.4
The conclusions of the comprehensive review declared sufficient evidence for cancer from RFR in animals, sufficient evidence for adverse effects from RFR on the fertility of men, male rats and mice, and that RFR is probably carcinogenic to humans. https://www.sgtreport.com/2024/07/ten-new-studies-detail-health-risks-of-5g-2/
Yes, there are risks.
In the 11th chapter of the Book of Revelation, the Bible states that when Jesus comes He will destroy those who destroy the earth. While that will perhaps mainly be because of warfare and radiation associated with that, wireless radiation may also be a factor.
Many of us have long had some health concerns related to wireless radiation:
Experts Gather to Warn of Health Dangers of 5G Radiation
June 12, 2023
I am heartened to see that the negative effects of technology, such as smartphones and remote learning are now being discussed more publicly. Last Friday on GB News, Bev Turner talked about an ALDI store, to which entry can only be gained via smartphone. Various national newspapers are mentioning the psychological damage done to children through overuse of screens and social media. Addiction is a major problem.
However only a handful of people and organisations seem to be aware of the likely damage to physical and mental health from the radio-frequency radiation (RFR) emitted by smartphones, wi-fi and phone masts. Those who do mention this are quickly labelled as conspiracy theorists, …
Considering how controversial it still is to oppose our Government’s view that RF radiation “should have no consequences for public health”, I am highly appreciative of the open-mindedness of bodies such as The Heritage Party and UsforThem in questioning its safety. Under the heading ‘Preserving the Environment’ in the Heritage Party Manifesto there is a call for a moratorium on 5G, while the UsforThem campaign ‘Safe Screens’ has a comprehensive list of harms, which include the health effects of radio-frequency radiation.
All the more welcome, therefore, is a free event hosted at the Royal School of Medicine by the International Commission on the Biological Effects of Electromagnetic Fields (ICBE-EMF) on Wednesday June 14th, with the topic: ‘Radiofrequency Radiation from Wireless Communications Sources: Are Safety Limits Valid?’ For this event, a group of international experts has been assembled.
But what exactly will be discussed? Firstly, two scientific papers produced by ICBE-EMF in recent months will be summarised.
One paper lays out 14 false assumptions behind the ICNIRP guidelines. These include ICNIRP’s insistence that biological damage does not occur below a certain heating threshold in the body. Another, is that ICNIRP had only looked at exposures of six and 30 minutes, but did not consider low-level, long-term effects. In addition, the 2011 classification of RF radiation by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) as “possibly carcinogenic”, as well as the results of large animal studies in 2018 were not taken into account despite the guidelines being updated in 2020.
The second paper suggests six engineering fixes which can go a long way toward reducing radiation exposure for the individual user of mobile phones. https://dailysceptic.org/2023/06/12/experts-gather-to-warn-of-health-dangers-of-5g-radiation/
Again, the idea of dangers is not new. Notice also something from 2019 from Scientific American:
We Have No Reason to Believe 5G Is Safe
The telecommunications industry and their experts have accused many scientists who have researched the effects of cell phone radiation of “fear mongering” over the advent of wireless technology’s 5G. Since much of our research is publicly-funded, we believe it is our ethical responsibility to inform the public about what the peer-reviewed scientific literature tells us about the health risks from wireless radiation. … more than 240 scientists who have published peer-reviewed research on the biologic and health effects of nonionizing electromagnetic fields (EMF) signed the International EMF Scientist Appeal, which calls for stronger exposure limits. The appeal makes the following assertions:
“Numerous recent scientific publications have shown that EMF affects living organisms at levels well below most international and national guidelines. Effects include increased cancer risk, cellular stress, increase in harmful free radicals, genetic damages, structural and functional changes of the reproductive system, learning and memory deficits, neurological disorders, and negative impacts on general well-being in humans. Damage goes well beyond the human race, as there is growing evidence of harmful effects to both plant and animal life.”
The scientists who signed this appeal arguably constitute the majority of experts on the effects of nonionizing radiation. They have published more than 2,000 papers and letters on EMF in professional journals. …
The World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classified RFR as “possibly carcinogenic to humans” in 2011. Last year, a $30 million study conducted by the U.S. National Toxicology Program (NTP) found “clear evidence” that two years of exposure to cell phone RFR increased cancer in male rats and damaged DNA in rats and mice of both sexes. …
As a society, should we invest hundreds of billions of dollars deploying 5G, a cellular technology that requires the installation of 800,000 or more new cell antenna sites in the U.S. close to where we live, work and play? 10/17/19 https://blogs.scientificamerican.com/observations/we-have-no-reason-to-believe-5g-is-safe/
Notice also the following:
The 5G danger can’t be overstated.
5G (5th Generation) is now being actively rolled out in many cities around the world. Simultaneously, as awareness over its horrific health and privacy impacts is rising, many places are issuing moratoriums on it or banning it, such as the entire nation of Belgium, the city of Vaud (Switzerland) and San Francisco (USA). Radiofrequency radiation (RF or RFR) and electromagnetic fields (EMF) are being increasingly recognized as new types of pollution – environmental pollution. 11/16/19 https://www.globalresearch.ca/5g-danger-13-reasons-5g-wireless-technology-will-be-a-catastrophe-for-humanity/5680503
20,000 Satellites for 5G to be Launched Sending Focused Beams of Intense Microwave Radiation Over Entire Earth
If you weren’t already familiar with 5G – research has already proven that exposure is harmful to people, animals, and nature. Reports of illness from exposure to 5G have already been reported and a 5G court case was already won in England. …
In the U.S. and elsewhere, outdated legislation and guidelines protect all sources of wireless radiation – not the public or the environment. This includes 5G. So just because all these wireless sources are legal doesn’t mean they are safe. Fat substitute olestra is legal too – that doesn’t mean you’d risk intestinal mayhem and eat anything made with it. 01/08/19 https://www.activistpost.com/2019/01/details-about-the-20000-satellites-earmarked-for-beaming-5g-radiation-at-us-from-space-and-why-this-is-a-bad-idea.html
Environmental effects of existing RF radiation have also been ignored. 5G will massively increase the microwave and millimeter wave radiation in our environment, and will have a detrimental effect on wildlife and trees. 5G will substantially increase exposure to radio–frequency electromagnetic fields RF-EMF, that has already been proven to be harmful for humans, animals and the environment.
Risks from 5G include:
- Damage to the eyes – cataracts, retinal damage
- Severe sweating
- Skin damage
- Immune system disruption
- Metabolic disruption
- Neurological disturbance
- Leakage of blood brain barrier
- Damage to sperm
- Increased risk of cancers
- Collapse of insect populations, the base of food for birds and bats
- Rise in bacterial resistance and bacterial shifts
- Damage to plants and trees
Millimeter wavelengths (at high intensity) have been used in military applications in active denial systems (non-lethal crowd control weapons). https://ehtrust.org/key-issues/5g-networks-iot-scientific-overview
Some research on non-thermal effects has shown that millimeter wavelengths target cell membranes and have adverse biological effects as well as clinical effects such as cataracts, immune system alterations and physiological effects on the heart and blood pressure. (accessed 01/10/19 https://es-ireland.com/5g-5th-generation-greater-dangers/)
The rollout of 5G is another great example of how our federal health regulatory agencies have been completely compromised by big powerful corporations. You would think with more than 10,000 peer-reviewed studies showing clear danger with regards to electromagnetic radiation overdose, something our planet is experiencing, that these technologies would be required to go through some safety testing. The truth is, if they went through any type of safety testing there is no way they would be approved. The studies that have already been published show clear links to neuropsychiatric disorders, reduced sperm count, brain damage and cancer among other serious ailments. …
Dr. Sharon Goldberg, an internal medicine physician & professor, recently gave her testimony regarding the dangers of electromagnetic radiation. She says: “Wireless radiation has biological effects. Period.” You can watch that testimony here.
Doctors treating patients from over-exposure to wireless radiation, joined by scientists at Queen’s Park (Toronto), gathered to recommend the Ontario Government take steps to protect public health before the roll-out of 5G cell phone technology. In this public hearing, Dr. Anthony Miller, Professor Emeritus with the University of Toronto, and adviser to the International Agency for Research on Cancer said: “Many scientists worldwide now believe that radiofrequency radiation should be elevated to a Class One human carcinogen, on the same list as Cigarettes, X-Rays, and Asbestos.”
There are similar statements from other academicians, Dr. Martin Blank, Ph.D., from the Department of Physiology and Cellular Biophysics at Colombia University makes the point quite clear: “Putting it bluntly they are damaging the living cells in our bodies and killing many of us prematurely.” (source) 06/28/19 https://www.naturalblaze.com/2019/06/5g-technician-reveals-the-damage-he-believes-5g-will-cause.html?utm_source=Natural+Blaze+Subscribers&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=19166cdb80-RSS_EMAIL_CAMPAIGN&utm_term=0_b73c66b129-19166cdb80-388228225
Forbes reported:
Whether or not 5G could negatively impact your brain is something researchers are still studying, and will likely monitor for some time.
Belief: 5G Is Dangerous for Airplanes
Verdict: FactRecently, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) warned that 5G interference could affect altitude readings on some jets, including interfering with altimeters, which measure how far above the ground a plane is flying. In 2020, the nonprofit Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics published research detailing how this interference could, in worst-case scenarios, lead to dangerous malfunctions[4]. The FAA has since established buffer zones around many airports to limit 5G activity.
Belief: 5G Creates a Cybersecurity Risk
Verdict: It’s complicatedThe introduction of 5G has created some cybersecurity risks, notes the U.S. Department of Homeland and Security. One fear is malicious software and hardware being introduced into the 5G supply chain. Plus, 5G uses more information than previous technologies, which leaves more room for error. Because of these concerns, the department has developed a set of strategic standards designed to mitigate risk.
While concerns regarding hackers using 5G to steal data or too many people texting in-flight are valid, when it comes to potential effects on your health, the evidence goes both ways. 01/19/23 https://www.forbes.com/health/body/is-5g-safe/
Humans do not really know the possible health impacts of 5G, wireless networks, etc. Or that of 6G or 7G, which is also being proposed. Some believe that there are risks to the pineal gland and other parts of the human endocrine system from 5G.
Officially, the US government presumes that 5G is safe:
Some health and safety interest groups have interpreted certain reports to suggest that wireless device use may be linked to cancer and other illnesses, posing potentially greater risks for children than adults. While these assertions have gained increased public attention, currently no scientific evidence establishes a causal link between wireless device use and cancer or other illnesses. Those evaluating the potential risks of using wireless devices agree that more and longer-term studies should explore whether there is a better basis for RF safety standards than is currently used. The FCC closely monitors all of these study results. However, at this time, there is no basis on which to establish a different safety threshold than our current requirements. https://www.fcc.gov/consumers/guides/wireless-devices-and-health-concerns accessed 06/13/23
Notice that the FCC has not proved that 5G is totally safe–and I would say that there is a basis to look more at safety than the FCC’s “current requirements.”
The reality is that it is not practical to thoroughly test all the potential health risks. As a published scientist, I can clearly state that many things that we have been assured are safe have not been sufficiently tested to prove so. And actually my warnings about things such as GMO mosquitoes were proven correct as scientists had to admit they got “unanticipated outcomes” when they tried to make mosquitoes easier to eliminate, when instead they made them harder to kill (see Scientists confirm COGwriter GMO mosquito warning) and that is not the only issue scientists have been wrong about (see also ‘Genetically Engineered Food – the Lie That Won’t Die’ The Third Horseman of the Apocalypse? CRISPR and the Coronavirus?).
There simply have not been sufficient studies to prove proper safety and health impacts, nor is it practical to do them on all the EMR ramifications. In order to do this right, millions of people would need to be involved. And the time period would need to be enough to cover 3-5 generations–it would probably need to take between 200-400 years to be able to have the data to come to a proper scientific conclusion about that. And, of course, that has not happened. Nor will that happen.
So, yes, there are health risks.
But is there anything we can do?
Yes.
Eating fruits and vegetable helps.
You can also try to not have cell phones close to your head very often and not have it on or to near your body most of the time it is on.
Ionizing radiation damages cells mainly by generating free radicals. These highly reactive molecules that can:
- Damage DNA
- Oxidize cell membranes
- Trigger inflammation
Many fruits and vegetables are high in natural antioxidants which can reduce the negative impacts of radiation.
The Bible teaches:
2 … eat what is good (Isaiah 55:2)
Doing that can reduce health risks of wireless and other forms of radiation.
UPDATE 03/29/26: We just uploaded the following related video:
Wireless radiation and health problems
Are there health risks associated with wireless technologies like cellular telephones, 5G, and cell towers? A peer-reviewed study analyzing nationally representative survey data found that approximately one in eight adults in the United States report experiencing health effects they attribute to wireless radiation, and about one in six adults in Australia and one in thirteen in Canada also reported negative health effects tied to wireless exposure. Negative effects include increased cancer risk, cellular stress, increase in harmful free radicals, genetic damages, structural and functional changes of the reproductive system, learning and memory deficits, neurological disorders, and negative impacts on general well-being in humans. Damage goes well beyond the human race, as there is growing evidence of harmful effects to both plant and animal life. Are there any prophetic ramifications? Are there any steps you can take to help yourself? What may such steps include? Steve Dupuie and Dr. Thiel discuss these issues in this video.
Here is a link to our video: Wireless radiation and health problems.
Perhaps I should add that there are other risks. associated with wireless technologies.
Let’s look at the following scriptures which support the view that, to some degree, advanced wireless data will be used by the coming European Beast of the Sea dictator (Revelation 13:1-10) as well as his Beast of the Earth (Revelation 13:11) accomplice:
11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived.
15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.
16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. (Revelation 13:11-18)
Notice that the Beast of the Earth gets the people who dwell on the earth to worship the other Beast. While he will likely have what will be some type of demonic-superpower (Revelation 16:13), it appears that something like artificial intelligence connected to wireless technologies will be used to get the image of the Beast to speak and to get those who will not worship the Beast to be killed.
Either way, when ‘666’ is here, the system will be “terrifyingly smart.”
Additionally, when it comes to controlling buying and selling, that was not possible before this digital age of the 21st century. That is something that computers and wireless technology will be involved in.
Wireless radiation, particularly in conjunction with what is called Artificial Intelligence (watch Is AI in the Bible?) offers more opportunities for quicker surveillance, and it also comes with health risks.
Wireless radiation has health risks that I am not convinced can be thoroughly tested for–and we see sporadic reports pointing to real dangers and health problems from it.
Anyway, just about all of us have exposure to it and should try to minimize it.
