Businessman and tv personality Donald Trump again indicated he might consider running as a ‘third party’ candidate:

Donald Trump made a splashy visit Thursday to the U.S.-Mexico border in a bid to draw attention to illegal immigration. But on the sidelines, he was making news for other reasons — his threat to mount an independent run for the White House if the Republican Party won’t welcome him.

The warning, made in an interview with The Hill, comes as Trump faces some of the toughest criticism yet from fellow Republican candidates. Trump said the Republican National Committee “has not been supportive,” and suggested if he does not clinch the nomination and is not “treated” well by Republicans, he’d consider an independent bid.

Following pressure from the Republican National Convention to tone down his provocative commentary, Donald Trump has threatened to take his business – and his voter support – elsewhere.

In an interview with The Hill Wednesday, Mr. Trump said that if he continues to feel as though the RNC is not playing “fair,” he would consider shedding the Republican name and running as an independent. As the top-ranking Republican in recent polls, if Trump turned independent, many of the other GOP presidential candidates might breathe a sigh of relief. But data from ABC News/Washington Post suggests that ultimately, Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton would be the one to reap the benefits in a three-way race.

Trump told The Hill he believed the RNC liked him better when he was writing them checks. Donald Trump is currently leading several of the polls to be the Republican nominee for the US presidency. Interestingly, early this morning while I was speaking with radio station WFPA owner J. Mike Wallace (not to be confused with the Mike Wallace of 60 Minutes fame), I flat out told him that if the Republican party keeps treating Donald Trump as many have been, then he may well decide to run as an independent/third party candidate. His statements later today confirmed that possibility.

Such a ‘third party’ move on his part is widely believed to be a near guarantee that leading Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton, would be almost guaranteed to be elected as the next US President.

Donald Trump was formerly a Democrat and is currently claiming to be a Republican. He, in certain ways, probably believes that he can appeal to people in both major political parties.

The USA truly needs national repentance, which is something that “the Donald” has not called for.
