A senior IRGC adviser, Pasdar Moghaddamfar, announced a new military doctrine threatening to target the political leaders and commanders of any country that strikes Iranian regime officials.

Speaking in Bandar Abbas, he warned that retaliation would not be geographically limited or proportional to the original attack. He also claimed that 98 enemy drones, fighter jets, and radar systems had been shot down.

The threats signal the regime’s intention to expand any renewed confrontation beyond the Middle East.

Iran attacked American forces in the Middle East overnight, prompting Saudi Arabia and the United States to retaliate against a Tehran-backed militia in Iraq and shattering a period of relative calm raising the risk of a further escalation of the conflict.

Iran had suspended its attacks amid a renewed push to reach a deal with the U.S., but warned earlier this week that it would not allow Washington to dictate the “timing of war and peace,” while maintaining that the Strait of Hormuz was “closed.”

The war with Iran is not over. There isn’t going to be peace in the Middle East. In fact, the most apocalyptic chapters of the Great Middle East War are still ahead of us. If President Trump decides to bomb the living daylights out of Iran before January 3rd, 2027, there is very little that the Democrats can do to stop that from happening. After the new Congress is sworn in on January 3rd, 2027, the Democrats will have more power but President Trump will still be able to simply veto any bill that they pass. Of course it is entirely possible that President Trump could change his mind and choose not to attack Iran at all, but if that happens I guarantee you that Israel is going to go in anyway. If Iran responds to new airstrikes by the United States and/or Israel by using unconventional weapons or by destroying the nuclear facility at Dimona, there is nobody on the entire planet that will be able to stop what happens next. …

Trump’s thinking may have changed a bit.

When asked about what is coming next, he admitted that there are no “immediate” plans to bomb Iran again…

Will that be the moment when the U.S. and Israel start conducting airstrikes?

The number one target that the U.S. and Israel would like to take out is the nuclear facility at Pickaxe Mountain.

The problem is that it is hundreds of feet underground…

Some estimates put the heart of Pickaxe Mountain as far as 100 meters (nearly 330 feet) underground—meaning even the most destructive non-nuclear U.S. bombs, such as the GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator, or “bunker busters,” would be hard-pressed to destroy it.

I agree with that assessment.

I do not believe that conventional weapons would be able to get the job done.

But using nuclear weapons would be absolutely insane.

Unfortunately, that is precisely what some are suggesting that we should do. …

If there is any sort of attack on Iran at all, the Iranians are threatening to use “new conventional weapons technology”…

“If America or the Zionists take any action, Iran will respond differently than before, using a new doctrine and new conventional weapons technology,” said Hamidreza Moghaddamfar, an adviser to the IRGC’s commander in chief.

Should Arab states such as the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain allow their territory to be used for attacks, he added, “Iran’s strikes will go further” than the US bases. He said the assassination of Iranian officials or commanders would draw “surprising responses”.

Iran, Mr Moghaddamfar said, had “set aside the principles of symmetry and proportionality a long time ago”, and would retaliate “beyond any geographical limits”.

In addition, the IRGC is warning that they now have missiles that can “target areas beyond the Middle East”…

One wrong move could spark all-out war.

Chuck Schumer is promising that Congress is going to end the conflict with Iran…

But there is only so much that he can do, and he knows it.

An apocalyptic showdown is looming, and the clock is ticking. …

Netanyahu wanted to attack Iran in October, but Trump was able to persuade him to wait until after the elections.

Now the elections are behind us, and Netanyahu appears to be quite eager to take action. …

Yes, moments of peace in the Middle East now are temporary.

And, according to the Bible, a temporary peace deal will come to the area:

26 And the people of the prince who is to come
Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.
The end of it shall be with a flood,
And till the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the desolate (Daniel 9:26-27).

The ‘one week’ time element has generally been understood by prophecy watchers to mean a seven year deal (2520 days, based on prophetic 360 day years), that will be broken in the middle of it (after 3 1/2 years). The ‘with many’ referred to in this passage would seem to indicate that ‘many’ nations, as opposed to one or two, are agreeing to something. Nations such as Jordan and Egypt are likely to be involved as they both have signed peace agreements with Israel in the past.

Notice that the prince is the one who later brings an end to the sacrifices and is involved with the abomination of desolation.

While Daniel 9:26 calls this leader a “prince,” he is later is referred to as the king of a developing European empire (Daniel 11:40; see also King of the North and Europa, the Beast, and the Book of Revelation). Daniel 9:26-27 tie directly in with Daniel 11:

31 And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation. (Daniel 11:31)

The prince who confirmed the deal is the King of the North (cf. Daniel 11:40) when he musters forces, stops sacrifices, and puts in the abomination of desolation.

That said, for Israel to agree to the prophesied peace deal, I have long felt that it would have to be sufficiently damaged first by a regional war.
