Russia has more nuclear weapons than any country on earth. If Ukraine were to use nuclear weapons against Russia, it is my understanding that Russia’s official policy on the use of nuclear weapons would basically guarantee a Russian response.
Many parts of Ukraine have already been devastated. A nuclear conflict with Russia would possibly trigger the end of Ukraine as a nation.
That said, as the tweet at the beginning of this post shows, some see economic WWIII impacting Europe.

Sanctions on Russia after it invaded Ukraine have helped drive up the price of energy around the world, inflicting some of the greatest pain on Germany. Before the war broke out, over half of the country’s natural gas came from Russia.
German energy prices exceeded $1,000 per megawatt-hour for the first time on Aug. 29, following months of rising prices for households and businesses alike.

The bottom line? Unless a radical course correction is immediately embraced, Western Europe will suffer a catastrophic collapse in 2023, with “collapse” defined as 50% or more of the businesses and industries ceasing operations, causing mass destitution and angry uprisings across the continent, combined with widespread starvation and deaths from exposure (freezing).
The collapse of the United States will take longer to fully play out, but it is also inevitable. The dollar will soon be history, and the financial solvency of the U.S. government will evaporate virtually overnight.

Civil unrest and uprisings are something I have been warning here for years.
Now if the euro were to be wiped out or even greatly weakened, this would cause a banking crisis in Europe.
While David Dubyne sees this collapsing Western Europe, it would actually result in pressures for Europe to reorganize (cf. Revelation 17:12-13).
Part of pundit David Dubyne’s position is consistent with something posted here many times before from the late Pastor General of the old Worldwide Church of God, Herbert W. Armstrong. Here is something he said in a sermon on July 7, 1984 related to Europe and a banking crisis:
And I can see now, the event that is going to trigger the formation of the reunification in Europe; the resurrection of the medieval Holy Roman Empire that we’ve been looking forward to that is prophesied to come…
But I believe that some event is going to happen suddenly just like out a blue sky that is going to shock the whole world and is going to cause the nations in Europe to realize they must unite! … Well now I think I can see what may be the very event that is going to trigger…that is the economic situation in the world…
The whole banking structure in the United States is a network all jointed together. But not only that, one nation has to deal with other nations and imports and exports. And so they have to have a means of transforming money from one nation to another. And so the banking structure is international and interwoven…
Now when the financial structure breaks down, all civilization is going to break down…
So, an economic or banking crisis is what Herbert W. Armstrong concluded would drive Europe to unite.
Protests and civil unrest look to be a factor in causing the prophesied Beast to rise up.
At first the one who will become the Beast will be promising peace:
25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. (Daniel 8:25, KJV).
23 And after the league is made with him he shall act deceitfully, for he shall come up and become strong with a small number of people. 24 He shall enter peaceably, even into the richest places of the province; and he shall do what his fathers have not done, nor his forefathers: he shall disperse among them the plunder, spoil, and riches; and he shall devise his plans against the strongholds, but only for a time. (Daniel 11:23-24, NKJV)
So this leader gives people the impression that there will be “peace.”
He is likely promising peace because of civil unrest, protests, and violence in Europe.
The Bible shows that he will arise after the four horsemen of the Apocalypse have began their rides, hence there will be many crises, and not just economic ones.
Those horsemen represent religious deception-check; loss of feeling of peace-check; food price inflation-check; a pestilence worse than COVID-coming.

The Beast of the sea is European (watch the video Can You Prove that the Beast to Come is European?). This leader is prophesied to rise up after all of the four horsemen of the Ap0calypse begin their rides.
Their rides will result in chaos and troubles around the world.
The final King of the North may rise up by 2026.
