The left’s long march through the institutions has created a culture that champions socialism under the misguided assumption that it is moral.
This is incredibly dangerous because these young minds are also unaware that socialism, as Thatcher said, leads to bankruptcy.

America is witnessing a resurgence of ideas that many assumed had been relegated to history.
Openly socialist candidates are winning elections. Socialist rhetoric is becoming increasingly mainstream. …
This cultural shift should concern us for many reasons. But perhaps the most overlooked concern is a moral and spiritual one.
As socialism gains influence in American culture, parents and pastors must teach with renewed clarity that envy, jealousy, and covetousness are not political virtues—they are sins. A free society cannot survive when resentment is celebrated and covetousness is mistaken for compassion.
An Old Sin in a New Package
Envy is nothing new, and it is not subtle in its effects.
From Cain’s jealousy of Abel to the warnings found throughout Proverbs, Scripture repeatedly teaches that envy is destructive to both individuals and societies.
“A tranquil heart gives life to the flesh, but envy makes the bones rot.” (Proverbs 14:30)
“For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice.” (James 3:16)
“Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.” (Galatians 5:26)
Envy is not merely wanting what someone else possesses—it is resentment toward them for possessing it. At its core, envy says not simply, “I want more,” but, “You should not have what you have.”
Greed says, “I want more.” Envy says, “You should not have what you have.” Scripture condemns both.
The Commandment That Exposes the Heart
The Tenth Commandment is clear: “You shall not covet.” It is unique because it exposes the heart.
Unlike many of the other commandments, this prohibition reaches beyond our actions and addresses the desires of the heart. A person may never steal his neighbor’s property and yet still violate God’s law by coveting it. God is not only concerned with actions; He is concerned with desires.
Before societies begin demanding what belongs to others, they often begin by nurturing envy toward those who have it. …
Socialism is often presented as a debate about taxes, wealth, and public policy. …
The Tenth Commandment reminds us that God cares not only about the outcomes we pursue but also about the motives that drive us to pursue them. …
Christians are commanded to care for the poor. Scripture could not be clearer on this point. We are called to generosity. We are called to charity. We are called to love our neighbors and help those in need.
But there is a profound difference between voluntary compassion and government coercion.
A Christian who freely gives his time, money, and resources to help a struggling family is demonstrating love of neighbor.
A church that feeds the hungry, provides shelter, and assists a widow is exercising Biblical compassion.
But socialism does not call individuals to generosity. Instead, it relies upon government power to compel redistribution, using the authority of the state to seize and then transfer resources from one citizen to another.

Notice the following last days warning from the Apostle Paul:
1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! (2 Timothy 3:1-5)
While many of those do apply to socialists, they also apply to many capitalists, communists, etc.
That said, many socialists try to claim morality and liberty, but are corrupt. The Apostle Peter wrote:
19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; (2 Peter 2:19)
This is not to say that Republicans and Democrats are not corrupt.
But socialists and communists have promised liberty while often bringing disaster to nations.

Tuesday’s primary results weren’t just a bad night for the Democratic establishment. They were a warning shot that the party’s socialist insurgency has arrived, is organized, and intends to win. And the problem for them is that they have no idea what to do about it, which could spark a civil war within the party.
The Democratic Socialists of America have been running their own long game inside the Democratic Party for years. Now DSA NYC co-chair Gustavo Gordillo is willing to say the quiet part out loud. The DSA runs candidates on the Democratic ballot line, wins primaries, and places members inside Democratic caucuses. The difference is that they don’t answer to the party apparatus or its donor class.
“Our candidates run as Democrats,” Gordillo said. “We’re on the Democratic Party ballot line. We contest the primaries, and when they’re in the legislature, they’re part of the Democratic Party caucus. But we don’t agree with the way the Democratic Party establishment organizes or runs its party apparatus.” …
Establishment Democrats aren’t happy about this. “If you hate the Democratic Party, then please don’t run for our nomination,” former DNC Chairman Jaime Harrison said in a post on X. “Don’t use our resources. Don’t rely on our volunteers. Don’t use our infrastructure. Don’t ask Democrats to invest their time, money, and energy in your campaign.”
Harrison argued that the Democratic Socialists of America should focus on “building the party you actually support.”
Others are clearly concerned that the rise of DSA-linked candidates will hurt the Democratic Party.
“All of us are a little frustrated with the Democratic Party. But you don’t blow it up,” New York Attorney General Letitia James said. …
Most immediately, moderates fear that a progressive primary sweep could imperil the party’s hopes of beating Republicans this fall.
They also have a more fundamental fear: that progressives are becoming more mainstream as they keep winning – reshaping the Democratic Party.

President Donald Trump blasted communism in a pair of Truth Social posts late Tuesday and early Wednesday, warning that left-wing candidates are gaining ground in Democrat-run states while simultaneously vowing America will never embrace communist rule.
The posts echoed a theme Trump has championed for years:The United States must reject socialism and communism and preserve the nation’s founding principles of freedom and free enterprise.
Late Tuesday, Trump wrote on Truth Social, “Many Communists running in badly failing Blue States. The votes seem to have them doing quite well against each other. The bad news is that history has conclusively shown that the downtrodden States that they will soon be running will ONLY GET WORSE. MAGA!”
