World did not end & Christians were not raptured, but might the world be different in October?

Planet Nibiru did not destroy the world today:

September 23, 2017

The world did not end today like it was supposed to.

Some conspiracy theorists thought a giant planet called Nibiru (Planet X) was going crash into Earth at midday, wiping out all humanity. http://metro.co.uk/2017/09/23/turns-out-nibiru-didnt-smash-the-world-to-pieces-6950501/#ixzz4tWEb3KW8

I will also add that contrary to the false prediction by Gary Ray, Christians were also not raptured away today (see ‘No, the world will not end on September 23’ nor Christians raptured then).

Of course, Planet Nibiru destruction or trying to tie things in with Revelation 12 is not a new idea. I have regularly denounced the Planet Nibiru destruction and Revelation 12 claims in the past (e.g. More predictions that planet ‘Nibiru’ will destroy the Earth this year and BibleNewsProphecy: Planet Nibiru to Destroy Earth by 2017?). We made a video about Planet Nibiru before, which is also available: Planet Nibiru to Destroy Earth by 2017?

Sadly, various ones bring their false understanding of biblical prophecy into their astronomical theories as David Meade and Gary Ray have. They, along with Mark Biltz, also falsely brought in the solar eclipse of August 21, 2017 with biblical prophecy as a harbinger from God which I denounced as it was simply as a natural phenomena (watch Solar Eclipse and the Apocalypse).

Because various ones have falsely claimed that God is sending a message through natural phenomena, they are turning people off to Bible prophecy. The following prophecy from the Apostle Peter applies not only to people who claim to be in the COG (David Pack, Ron Weinland, and Gerald Flurry come to mind), but also to those like David Meade, Gary Ray, and Mark Biltz:

1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. 2 And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3 By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber. (2 Peter 2:1-3)

The false prognosticators cause the Christian way to be blasphemed, even though (in my view) none of those I have specifically named are real Christians.

No wonder Peter was also inspired to write:

3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

14 Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; (2 Peter 3:3-15)

False prophecies have turned people away from believing that biblical prophecies are relevant.

But biblical prophecies are relevant.

The Protestant-leaning doomsayer David Meade reportedly claimed that Planet Nibiru would hit Planet Earth on September 23, 2017 and the world would end then. But last night he claimed something else:

September 23, 2017

The conspiracy theorist, David Hines, dismissed reports that the Hurricanes which battered the Caribbean islands and Florida were caused by global warming or were “flukes”.

He warned: “Something is affecting our weather and it could well be Planet X. If it is not Planet X, then I sure would like an explanation as to why we are having so many hurricanes.”  …

The main purveyor of the doomsday prophecy is Christian numerologist David Meade who published his theories in his book Planet X – The 2017 Arrival. The author has spectacularly claimed that Nibiru’s approach will match an astrological constellation from the biblical Book of Revelation. The 12:1–2 passage in question, reads: “And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of 12 stars.

“She was pregnant and was crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth.”

But on the eve of the apocalypse, Mr Meade has come out to claim that actually, the world is not about to end.He told The Washington Post: “The world is not ending, but the world as we know it is ending.“A major part of the world will not be the same the beginning of October.”

Instead, the world will be rocked by a seven-year-long period of Tribulation, during which the Earth will be ravaged in preparation for the second coming of Jesus Christ. http://www.express.co.uk/news/weird/857846/end-of-the-world-2017-Nibiru-planet-x-september-23-canada-live

The ‘tribulation’ did not begin today, nor will it begin next month.

The problem that these Protestant prophecy prognosticators have is that they overlook the sequence of events that Jesus laid out as recorded by the gospel writer Matthew:

4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. (Matthew 24:4-8)

15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), 16 “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. 18 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. 19 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20 And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. (Matthew 24:15-21)

For more details, see also When Will the Great Tribulation Begin?

While David Meade now seems to indicate that the beginning of sorrows began today or will begin next month, we seem to have been in the beginning of sorrows for years, starting with the rise of the ecumenical movement.

But we may well see an increase in wars and rumors of war this month as well as in October 2017. So, yes, the world could be different in October 2017.

Yet, that does not have anything to do with Planet Nibiru.

That being said, the Bible does show that the Earth will be hit by something from the sky.

Over 1900 years ago, the Apostle John was inspired to write about something called Wormwood in the Book of Revelation. As far as its timing, notice that the first nine verses of Revelation 8 happen prior to Wormwood falling from heaven:

1 When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. 2 And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets. 3 Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. 4 And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand. 5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake.

6 So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

7 The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.

8 Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. 9 And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

10 Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. 11 The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter. (Revelation 8:1-11)

Notice that Wormwood does not fall until after the third trumpet associated with the seventh seal of Revelation is blown. Well, this would mean that the fifth and sixth seal would also have already been opened–which are mentioned in Revelation 6:7-17, and the 144,000 numbered as shown in Revelation 7. And I should add that the fifth seal of Revelation cannot possibly be opened for at least 3 1/2 years from now (watch Will the Great Tribulation Start in 2017?), with over 4 years the likely minimum.

Planet Nibiru per se does not exist. Yet Wormwood most certainly does exist.

Based on the biblical description, Wormwood sounds like a comet or perhaps asteroid. But it will NOT hit for several years at the earliest. However, that does not mean that there cannot be any problems from meteorites, comets, asteroids, solar flares, etc. But it does mean that this age will not end for at least several years.

Why bother to post about the ‘Nibiru prediction’?

Because there are many false and heretical leaders that lead people astray on prophecy. Sometimes they mention the Bible to try to act like God sanctions their nonsense. And it is not just the secular fringe people, but also those who claim to be Christian or even in the Church of God (see also The Sardis Church Era and The Laodicean Church Era).

If you were misled that biblical destruction was promised for today, please do not discount biblical prophecy. Properly understood biblical prophecies are coming to pass and will come to pass.
