Certain German political leaders are pushing for Europe to fulfill various prophecies:

German Governing Party Wants to Create European FBI

Angela Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and its Bavarian sister party Christian Social Union (CSU) have presented their first-ever joint European election programme, outlining their vision of the EU’s future. In their view, it should include effective counter-terror forces and a Europe-wide military. …

A unified data system and an intensive exchange of information between EU member states’ authorities is one of the proposals. This is aimed at creating a more secure Europe, tackling organised crime, and terrorism. Additionally, the parties proposed creating a joint EU database to re-flag potential terrorists.

“What we need in Europe is a security union. More security in and through Europe would also mean more security for Germany… We would like to expand exchange and partnership programmes between the security agencies. The European police authority Europol [Netherlands-based EU law enforcement agency] must transform into a European FBI”, their election manifesto reads.

Stability with a European FBI

the CDU/CSU want a significantly tighter European operation: The plan presented on Monday includes the concept of a “European FBI,” which would see a significant expansion of information exchange and partnership programs among security forces. Under the new model, Europol would become more powerful, even if operative policing would stay at the national level.

So, a more unified data system and Europol are being proposed.

This sounds like 666.

More common defense projects, this sounds like a European army. Notice also the following:

NATO tensions have boosted Europe’s decades-long attempts to establish a European army. President Emmanuel Macron of France, a country that voted against the bloc’s plan in 1954 to create one, recently reiterated his call for a “true European army” – now. In his interview with Europe 1 on Nov 9, he stressed that the current international situation, where the U.S. has pulled out of several international treaties including the Paris climate change agreement and most recently the 1987 Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces treaty (INF) arms treaty with Russia, meant Europe needed to look after itself. Germany has tentatively endorsed Macron’s proposals for a joint command structure for military interventions, and 25 countries have signed up to PESCO (Permanent Structured Cooperation on security and defense).

The latest of several attempts since the 1950s to bolster European security, PESCO, established in Dec 2017, is a “treaty-based framework and process to deepen EU defense cooperation,” according to the official description. In 2018 EU defense ministers added to the list of 17 military projects under the PESCO framework. Euractiv reports that they signed off on projects covering training and capability development, operational readiness on land, at sea and in the air, as well as cyber-defence. The Bible shows that Europe will implement totalitarian controls and have a great army:

4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” … 11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. 15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. (Revelation 13:4, 11-18)

25 He shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the South with a great army. … 39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain. 40 “At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through. 41 He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon. 42 He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels. 44 But news from the east and the north shall trouble him; therefore he shall go out with great fury to destroy and annihilate many. (Daniel 11:25, 39-44)

The Europeans have been pushing the development of their own army (watch PESCO and a Great European Army) and their own space agency (see European Commissioner wants a European Space Army). So, we are hearing from another German leader who apparently wants to keep pushing in that direction.

As far as the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) goes, in the USA one of its main roles is to pursue financial crimes.

In Europe, this could be a replacement of, or in addition to, something that it is now working on. Earlier this year, the Continuing Church of God (CCOG) put out the following video on our Bible News Prophecy YouTube channel:

The European Union is in the process of establishing the European Public Prosecutor’s Office.This is a major, first-of-its-kind move, with the EU setting up a European-wide prosecutor’s office that will have power to investigate and charge people for financial crimes committed against the EU. It looks like this type of office may end up persecuting those that do not have the mark of the Beast when they “buy or sell” as that will later be considered a financial crime in Europe. What does 666 mean? How has that name be calculated? How can we be certain that this is a prophecy for Europe and not Islam? Is the appointment of this new office of significant prophetic importance? Dr. Thiel addresses these issues and more by pointing to scriptures, news items, and historical accounts.

Now, the concept of ‘Christian values’ pops up from time to time in German and other European political circles.

Consider that even when Europe was still recovering from being devastated in World War II, after attending a conference related to the start of the UN, in the December 1948 issue of The Plain Truth Herbert W. Armstrong predicted a coming “United States of Europe” with religious influence when he wrote:

It was the SERMON that shot forth that spark, impregnating the minds of world leaders in attendance. This amazing sermon was delivered by a foremost radio speaker of the Catholic Church, Bishop Duane G. Hunt of Salt Lake City … Without the guidance, supervision, authority of the Catholic Church, he told these men, they were laboring in vain …

This was the Roman Catholic bid to resurrect the so-called “HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE” ! And PROPHECY says they will succeed! … At the psychological time, the pope will step in … Thru this political movement, he will UNIFY … nations in Europe. It will be a “The UNITED STATES OF EUROPE,” but that probably will never become its official name. (Armstrong HW. Now It Can Be Told…The Plain Truth, December 1948, pp. 2,5).

In 1965, the late Herbert W. Armstrong wrote:

…European countries urgently want political union, the very UNITED STATES OF EUROPE I have been assuring PLAIN TRUTH readers for 31 years is definitely coming. It will unite them into a giant third World Power…

There is a definite German “Kultur! There is a French culture that is in many respects quite different. Then there is a still different Italian culture, a Spanish culture, a Scandinavian culture, a Swiss culture–and all are different! European nations speak different languages, have different aspirations, different customs, different traditions. Europe is often called a “crazy-quilt” of nations.

HOW, THEN, CAN THEY AGREE TOGETHER AND UNITE? For years The PLAIN TRUTH has said these nations are going to have to realize their inability to unite themselves politically-to choose a common political-military Leader that all can trust. They are going to finally face the fact they must look to a Supreme Authority they can all trust! That Supreme Authority cannot be a politician, or a general (De Gaulle is both). The only possible answer is a Religious Leader! (Armstrong HW. Personal. Plain Truth, November 1965, pp.1-2)

The Bible in Revelation 13 and 17 shows that a European power with a religious connection to the city of seven hills will dominate the world for a time.

This dominance will include having military power and aspects of totalitarian and religious control.

The Apostle Paul wrote:

20 Do not despise prophecies. (1 Thessalonians 5:20)

Leaders in Europe keep pushing for this and the fulfillment of other biblical prophecies.

World events continue to align with properly understood biblical prophecies.
