The official USA inflation rate continues to rise:

Inflation accelerates 7.5% in January, hitting a fresh 40-year high

February 10, 2022

Inflation surged more than expected in January, notching another four-decade high … The consumer price index rose 7.5% in January from a year ago, according to a new Labor Department report released Thursday, marking the fastest increase since February 1982, when inflation hit 7.6%. The CPI – which measures a bevy of goods ranging from gasoline and health care to groceries and rents – jumped 0.6% in the one-month period from December. …

So-called core prices, which exclude more volatile measurements of food and energy, climbed 6% in January from the previous year – a sharp increase from December, when it rose 5.5%. It was the steepest 12-month increase since August 1982.

“U.S. annual CPI is the highest since 1982, and what’s worse is that this likely isn’t the peak,” said Seema Shah, chief strategist at Principal Global Investors. “Higher-than-expected monthly gains in core CPI indicate continued underlying heat and will do nothing to relieve pressure on the Fed to tighten sharply and urgently.”

Rising inflation is eating away at strong wage gains that American workers have seen in recent months: … On an annual basis, real earnings actually declined 1.7% in January.

The eye-popping reading – which marked the eighth consecutive month the gauge has been above 5% – could also amp up pressure on the Federal Reserve to kick off its interest rate increases next month with a half-basis point hike. https://www.foxbusiness.com/economy/consumer-price-index-inflation-january-2022

Rising inflation, as well as increasing debt, during in the Biden-Harris Administration was warned about in my book Biden-Harris: Prophecies and Destruction as follows:

Debt is a prophesied problem (cf. Habakkuk 2:6-8). But many in the media as well as politically-inclined economists do not see it that way—but that is too short sighted (cf. Ecclesiastes 8:11).

The time will come when the U.S.A. government will no longer be able to borrow at low interest rates and/or it will create more money electronically and/or via the printing press to try to continue.

Make no mistake about it — massive inflation is coming.

The U.S.A. dollar will ultimately crash and be worthless. That “pride” of American power will be broken (cf. Leviticus 26:19).

A Biden-Harris Administration has asserted it will take debt raising steps.

Let us also consider that there is a prophecy in Habakkuk, written about 2600 years ago, about debt which is preceded by the following:

2 Then the Lord answered me and said:

Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. (Habakkuk 2:2)

The Bible says that the ‘debt prophecy’ to be revealed later in Habakkuk 2 is so significant that those who read it should run—essentially that they should take steps because the results will be horrific. Joe Biden and many other American politicians have not run away from increasing U.S.A. debt—that will be to the nation’s peril.

The Bible warns about something that will happen to a heavily indebted nation. Notice what the Hebrew seer Habakkuk wrote over 2,600 years ago:

3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry … 5 Indeed, because he transgresses by wine, He is a proud man … 6 “Will not all these take up a proverb against him, And a taunting riddle against him, and say, ‘Woe to him who increases What is not his—how long? And to him who loads himself with many pledges’? 7 Will not your creditors rise up suddenly? Will they not awaken who oppress you? And you will become their booty. 8 Because you have plundered many nations, All the remnant of the people shall plunder you… (Habakkuk 2:2-3,6–8). …

Notice that what is to happen is so bad, that people who read the prophecy should run, when it is time for it to be fulfilled. Since that prophecy is to be fulfilled at the appointed time of the end, it is still for the future, but perhaps not too far distant in the future. No nation has ever been in as much total debt as the U.S.A. …

European leaders have been working for years to establish a new reserve currency for the world, partially with the intent to remove the U.S. dollar from its position as the world’s primary reserve currency.

The Bible clearly warns against cheapening the money supply and encourages having money hold its value (Proverbs 25:4 Isaiah 1:25, Ezekiel 22:18-22). Yet policies enacted under the Obama and Trump Administrations, following certain other administrations, have ignored these warnings.

No nation in the history of humankind has ever accumulated as much debt as the United States of America (because the U.K. may have close to the highest amount of per capita debt {Conway E. Britain showing signs of heading towards 1930s-style depression, says Bank. Telegraph, March 16, 2009 },its fate would be similar). Destruction is coming.

However, the relationship between debt accumulation and prophesied destruction remains unapparent to many. Because there is a time lag, many ignore that there will be real consequences (cf. Ecclesiastes 8:11; Habakkuk 2:3,6-8). Yet, these increases of debt are utterly dangerous.

When the time comes that the Federal Reserve is no longer able to keep interest rates artificially low, the U.S.A. will continue past the point of no return. That will become one of the final factors that will cause creditors to rise up and destroy the U.S.A.  …

Inflation will eventually hit the U.S.A. extremely hard. As the world becomes less attached to the American dollar, many financial jobs and opportunities will be in places other than the U.S.A. Eventually, but not yet, the U.S.A. dollar will become worthless (worth no more than the scrap or sentimental value of the cotton-paper it is printed on).

Will it always be straight downhill for the economy of the U.S.A.?

No.

There are some reasons to have some temporary optimism. (Thiel B. Biden-Harris: Prophecies and Destruction. Nazarene Books, 2021)

We have already seen the Biden-Harris Administration increase official USA government debt.

Here is the latest debt data as well as the amount of debt the day before the Biden-Harris Administration took office:

$30,044,308,711.213.55   02/08/2022

$27,752,835,868,445.35   01/19/2021

In slightly over one year,  a debt increase of over $2.2 trillion dollars!

While increasing interest rates tends to help reduce inflation, the USA is in so much debt that interest rate increases can also harm it in a major way. If interest rates rose by 3.5%, the interest on the official USA debt would be over $1 trillion per year. And it could spiral much worse than that.

Biden Addresses Soaring Inflation, Blames Pandemic, Lies About Wages

February 10, 2022

it appears that Biden’s latest demand is for the Fed to crash the economy. In a fact sheet, the White House said that “President Biden’s plan starts with respecting the Federal Reserve’s independence to keep elevated price increases from becoming entrenched” and adding that “the Federal Reserve provided extraordinary support during the crisis. Given the strength of our recovery, and the pace of recent price increases, it is appropriate for them to recalibrate that support.

Translation: the Fed should slow down the economy. …

Biden is basically telling Powell to start a recession to undo the consequences of his idiotic fiscal policies that have sparked the biggest inflationary conflagration since Volcker. …

In a statement from The White House, the president blames the pandemic, says he has lots of tools, empathizes with ‘real stress at the kitchen table’, and then tells a giant fib about wages…

My two top economic priorities have been to create a growing economy with more good-paying jobs, and to lower the prices Americans have faced from the global problem of inflation related to the pandemic. We have seen historic success on the first priority, with the greatest year of job growth in history, Americans finding better jobs, better wages, and better benefits, along with the fastest economic growth in decades. On higher prices, we have been using every tool at our disposal, and while today is a reminder that Americans’ budgets are being stretched in ways that create real stress at the kitchen table, there are also signs that we will make it through this challenge.

While today’s report is elevated, forecasters continue to project inflation easing substantially by the end of 2022. And fortunately we saw positive real wage growth last month, and moderation in auto prices, which have made up about a quarter of headline inflation over the last year. We separately saw good news with new unemployment claims continuing to decline. That’s a sign of the real progress we’ve made in getting Americans back to work over the last year.

My administration will continue to be all hands on deck to win this fight. We will continue to rebuild our infrastructure and manufacturing, so we can make more in America and strengthen our supply chains here at home. We will continue to fight for costs in areas that have held back families and working people for decades, from prescription drugs to child care and elder care to their energy costs. And we will continue to promote more competition to make our markets more competitive and give consumers more choices.

The problem is – that is a lie!

Auto prices did anything but moderate…

And Real wages are down for 10 straight months on a year-over-year basis… https://www.zerohedge.com/political/biden-addresses-soaring-inflation-blames-pandemic-lies-about-wages

As far as Joe Biden’s claim, “On higher prices, we have been using every tool at our disposal,” that is also not true.

For one example, the Biden-Harris Administration took claimed ‘environmental steps,’ which negatively impacted oil transport, competition, and production, hence contributed to increased energy cost inflation.

For another, increasing debt increases inflation, and instead of decreasing debt, the Biden-Harris Administration wants to increase it more.

We continue to see inflation.

Biblically, more is expected. Related to that, we put out the following video:

12:03

Food Inflation & the 3rd Horseman of the Apocalypse

The Wall Street Journal, Reuters, UN’s FAO, and others are reporting food price inflation as well as often selected shortages of some food items. Might it get worse? Did Jesus prophesy famines? One analyst stated, “WE haven’t seen anything yet” in regards to rising food prices. Should Christians prepare? What about helping others? Does the ride of the third horseman of the Apocalypse (Revelation 6:5-6) point to a coming time of severe food inflation. Is more food price inflation coming? Dr. Thiel addresses these issues and more in this video.

Furthermore, the biblical reality is that having so much debt will NOT end well for the USA (see also Who is the King of the West?).

The economy of the USA will one day crash and the USA, despite its obvious military strength will be conquered and taken over per Daniel 11:39 (see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses).

National repentance could delay that (cf. Daniel 4:27), but is not expected. Though individual repentance is still possible and advisable (Acts 17:30).

The USA and its Anglo-Saxon allies will not last to the end of this century (watch also Might the U.S.A. Be Gone by 2028?).
