Gays Winning Propaganda War

The above photos of Hiroshima and Nagasaki reflect what parts of the USA are destined to look like unless massive repentance occurs

Yesterday, the State of California began to allow same-sex couples to marry. It matters not that the people of the State of California passed a referendum against this before. Democracy, once again, proves that it really does not work.

Those of you not living in California may not realize that for several months this year there have been pro-gay marriage advertisements on television here apparently designed to reduce objections to homosexual marriages.

And, currently the gays are winning the propaganda war.

The media and courts, in general, have been supportive of the homosexual cause. This morning, to cite one minor example, was the following headline from AOL News:

They Do At Last

Gay Marriages Begin in California

To prove this, both CNN last night and AOL this morning, showed an elderly lesbian California couple who “got married”. Of course, the truth is that most gay liasons are brief, multiple partners is the norm, and many studies which have looked into the subject (that I am aware of) have concluded that “gays” tend to be less happy than non-gays.

Of course the Bible condemns homosexuality. But even in supposedly free countries, telling the truth about that is becoming more difficult.

In last week’s update, LCG reported the following:

No More Freedom of Speech. For decades, freedom of speech has been a major tenet of Western democracies and a tool that has enabled the Gospel to be freely preached in Israelite-descended nations. Recently, there has been a backlash against free speech, particularly as it relates to the rights of minority groups, particularly homosexuals. In a recent court decision, dated May 30, 2008, the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal of Alberta fined evangelical pastor Stephen Boisson $5,000 for “damages for pain and suffering” and banned him from expressing his biblical perspective of homosexuality. In a quasi-judicial directive, he was ordered “to renounce his faith and never again express moral opposition to homosexuality,” and directed to apologize to the activist who complained of being emotionally hurt by his statements (World Net Daily, June 9, 2008). As time goes on, it will be increasingly difficult to preach God’s truth, the “Good News” of the Kingdom of God, and the Ezekiel Warning to the world. God observed that, at the end of the age, Israel would no longer know Him, having “turned away backward… You will revolt more and more. The whole head is sick” (Isaiah 1:3-5). This disturbing truth is more obvious every day, as prophecy marches on.

So, despite the fact that the gay lifestyle is condemned by the Bible, contributes to diseases (such as AIDS), and doesn’t make people happy, the media and courts seem to side with the gays.

This is sad, but not unexpected. The Bible shows:

1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God (2 Timothy 3:1-4).

Those who watch the news, and even those who pay attention to the weather or gasoline prices, should realize that perilous times have come.

Unless the United States, Canada, and the other English peoples repent soon, disaster beyond what most have ever anticipated is just around the corner.
