Sean Penn decries effemination of men

Sean Justin Penn, an American actor, director, screenwriter, and producer made some statements about males becoming more effeminate:
Actor Sean Penn doubled down on comments that men are becoming more feminine in an interview with The Independent on Thursday.
Penn, 61, did the interview ahead of the U.K. release of his new film, ”Flag Day.”
”There are a lot of, I think, cowardly genes that lead to people surrendering their jeans and putting on a skirt,” Penn told the outlet. …
The two-time Academy Award winner had previously said that he was ”in the club that believes that men in American culture have become wildly feminized.”
”I don’t think that being a brute or having insensitivity or disrespect for women is anything to do with masculinity, or ever did,” Penn continued. ”But I don’t think that [in order] to be fair to women, we should become them.” https://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/sean-penn-hollywood/2022/01/28/id/1054551/
The Bible teaches against cross dressing:
5 A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the Lord your God. (Deuteronomy 22:5)
The Bible teaches that those who do such things, including the effeminate, can change:
9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-11, KJV)
5 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. 6 Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. 7 You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. 8 But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. 9 Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices 10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. Yet, as Western governments become more totalitarian, they do not want it even taught that effeminate people, and others part of the LGBTQ+ movement, can change.
That being said, Sean Penn is in error if he really thinks it is genetics that are causing the increase in effeminacy.
The real cause has to do with those who do “not like to retain God in their knowledge”:
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness …22 … professing to be wise, they became fools, …
24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, …
26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. (Romans 1:18,22,24-32)
Yes, various leaders want to suppress the truth in unrighteousness. That is a factor in increased effeminacy.
As far as genes go, people have either xx (female) or xy (male) chromosomes. Mutilating surgeries, ingesting of hormones, cross-dressing, etc., does not change one’s chromosomes–which are part of every one of the trillions of cells in every human body.
