Various ones have wondered about the decade of the 2020s. For one example, notice the following:

Risk of a Lost Decade

The World Bank alerts of the risk of a lost decade in its latest Global Outlook report.

What would constitute a “lost decade” and why would it happen? Unlike what many think, a lost decade is not ten years of zero growth, but a very weak improvement in GDP, productivity, and with it, jobs and salaries.

Such a risk comes after the massive stimulus plans and massive debt increases of 2020. We know from the past seventy years that economies show a weaker recovery with poor job improvements after massive debt increases. This will likely be the same. …

History shows us that adding massive debt in the years of crisis leads later to weaker recoveries. This will not be an exception.

The question may be “what should be done”? Probably what no government wants to do. Abandon demand-side policies and using government and central banks as the lender of first resort and embrace supply side measures that allow a productive clean-uo of the exces slack in the economy.

In the eurozone the lost decade was already a risk before Covid-19. Yes, massive debt is a risk–but it is a bigger risk to the USA than the Eurozone as the USA is the most indebted nation of all time and plans to continue to have massive debt increases. That will end in destruction (cf. Habakkuk 2:6-8). Probably before the end of the decade of the 2020s.

Forbes: 2020s Might Be The Worst Decade In U S History

Forbes posted an article by John Mauldin titled “2020s Might Be The Worst Decade In U.S. History.” The article claimed that US debt is destined to rise dramatically as well as cause financial problems with Europe. He claimed that unemployment would greatly increase as well. He claimed a reset, like a biblical jubilee debt release, would be the logical solution. He claimed that the 2030s were then likely to be good. Could the 2020s be the worst decade in USA history? How might Habakkuk 2 play into any of this? What about Jeremiah 30? Could Jesus possibly return towards the end of the decade? Could the USA experience sorrows, troubles, and possibly the Great Tribulation in the 2020s? Could the 6000 years be over then? Could the 2030s be a fantastic time ushering in the millennium? Dr. Thiel addresses these issues and more.

Some believe that humankind should be using COVID-19 as an opportunity to change the economies of the world.

The term ‘the great reset’ has been used. The ‘Great Reset’ that the World Economic Forum (WEF) has been promoting has remained in the news:

The Great Reset is an initiative by the World Economic Forum. It has been conceptualised by the founder and executive chairman of the WEF, Klaus Schwab, and has evolved over the last few years. It is based on the assessment that the world economy is in deep trouble. Schwab has argued that the situation has been made a lot worse by many factors, including the pandemic’s devastating effects on global society, the un- folding technological revolution, and the consequences of climate change.

Schwab demands that “the world must act jointly and swiftly to revamp all aspects of our societies and economies, from education to social contracts and working conditions. Every country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed. 2021: The Great Tribulation or the Great Reset?

Is the end coming in 2021? Jesus’ disciples specifically asked Him how to know when this would happen (Matthew 24:3)–and He responded with details (Matthew 24:4-22). Sadly, many overlook what Jesus taught, but instead try to point to other things. Is it possible for the Great Tribulation to start in 2021 or before 2024? What about the so-called Big Reset and the so-called Great Reset. The World Economic Forum has posted, “The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development sets out a 17 Global Goals (SDGs) to facilitate equal, sustainable and inclusive growth across the world, while promoting peace. … The platform seeks to form 4IR technology partnership … There is an urgent need for global stakeholders to cooperate in simultaneously managing the direct consequences of the COVID-19 crisis. To improve the state of the world, the World Economic Forum is starting The Great Reset initiative.” What are the main points of that according to Klaus Schwab? Will that happen in 2021? Did Glenn Beck warn against the Great Reset? What about property ownership changes? Will artificial intelligence and other 4IR technologies lead to the peaceful world that the United Nations is promoting for 2030 or instead to a totalitarian rule? Dr. Thiel answers these questions and more as he points to the return of Jesus and the establishment of the Kingdom of God.

A reader sent me a link to the following related to the Great Reset and various (mainly European) leaders:

Klaus Schwab, WEF’s founder and executive chairman, invoked the need to help provoke a “great reset” around the world in the wake of the pandemic. “The covid-19 crisis has shown us that our old systems are not fit anymore for the 21st century,” he said …

What does that reset look like? Schwab and his colleagues are pushing the concept of “stakeholder” capitalism — an approach to business and economic policymaking that looks beyond the interests of shareholders and toward the well-being of society (and fleshed out now in a new book by Schwab and his colleague Peter Vanham). For many years, WEF has embraced this sort of socially conscious language, urging corporate leaders to be more politically minded and governments to better collaborate with the private sector on a swath of development projects and social programs. WEF points to a growing catalogue of positive initiatives taken by governments and commitments made by major corporations thanks to the convening power of Davos.

But at this year’s conference, the toll of the pandemic has hammered home a new urgency. At least 225 million jobs disappeared worldwide over the past year …

Faced with these grim conclusions, world leaders, at least rhetorically, rose to the occasion. French President Emmanuel Macron declared Tuesday that “we will get out of this pandemic only with an economy that thinks more about fighting inequalities.” He argued that the financialization of the economy had led to a focus on “profits that are not linked to innovation or work” and that liberal democracies needed to move beyond a now-outdated reverence for deregulation and hostility toward state intervention.

“The capitalist model together with this open economy can no longer work in this environment,” said Macron.

Kristalina Georgieva, managing director of the International Monetary Fund — a global institution once synonymous with neoliberalism — said that “unless capitalism globally brings people closer together, we won’t be winners after this crisis.” She added that the pandemic had widened the gap between wealthy and poorer nations and that global cooperation on addressing a crisis that knew no borders was “not up to par.”

Notice that the French President wants MORE REGULATION AND MORE STATE INTERVENTION–moves towards totalitarianism.

He and others are pushing for a reorganization: the Bible shows that will happen in Europe:

12 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. 14 These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.” (Revelation 17:12-14)

Notice that the result of the prophesied reorganization is that the Beast will rise up and be in power. This Beast will be opposed to Jesus, but Jesus, of course, will defeat him.

Now, does Bible prophecy also point to the rise of this Beast after some type of pandemic?

Yes.

Fourth Horseman, COVID, and the Rise of the Beast of Revelation

The 6th chapter of the Book of Revelation tells of the ride of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. What do each represent? Is the novel coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, part of the fourth horseman? Does the Bible point to around 2 billion people dying from hunger, war, and the beasts of the earth? Was the ancient Roman Empire impacted by pestilences? What about the black death, also known as the Bubonic plague? Are disease epidemics part of the beginning of sorrow and troubles that Jesus spoke about in Matthew 24 and Mark 13? Does the pale green horseman represent Islam? Could genetically modified organisms (GMOs) or synthetic biology cause or contribute to coming pandemics? Is chemical and biological warfare (CBW) a real threat to humanity? What about a doomsday bug or antibiotic resistant superbugs? Is fear a contagion that will help people move away from democracy? Will scientists be able to stop what is coming? Is the good news that the Kingdom of God will? Could COVID-19 be setting the stage for the rise of the ‘prince,’ who will become the totalitarian Beast of the Sea (also known as 666 and the King of the North)? Is this leader similar to the Great Monarch of Greco-Roman Catholic prophecies? When is the Great Monarch supposed to arise according to the Eastern Orthodox? Why might Europe be less affected by the ride of the third horseman that the US, Canada, and the UK? Are governments taking steps now, consistent with the words of Adolf Hitler? What seal represents the start of the Great Tribulation? Which Christians did Jesus promise to protect from the coming “hour of trial”?

Well, you might say if the Beast is European what about the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK?

The Beast will destroy the USA per Daniel 11:39. The British-descended lands will also be taken over.

Understand that the Anglo-American nations need repentance in order to delay what is coming (cf. Daniel 4:26).

However, the Bible points to them not sufficiently doing so:

5 …But the Assyrian shall be his king, Because they refused to repent. (Hosea 11:5b)

The end of the current world order is coming soon.

Perhaps by 2028.

What will happen a few years AFTER the USA and its British-descended allies are destroyed?

Jesus will eliminate the Beast power and establish the millennial Kingdom of God.

This will be a time of abundance and prosperity.

It will be much better than what all is coming in the remaining years of the decade of the 2020s.

Pray for the Kingdom of God to come (Matthew 6:10).

Yet, expect troubles and tribulation during this decade (Mark 13:8-20).
